im graduating this year but my bd said that the show for 2007 will be a bunch of Aaron Copeland Music. The brass are already practicing Fanfare For The Common Man. crazy good peice

this was my freshman year and our show was called "African Odyssey". (side note: my director spelled "odyssey" wrong on out shirts! he he! xd we had to get new ones) we played "Africa Ceremony songs and Rituals", Love theme from "Out of Africa", and "Danse Bacchanale". (i just had to get out my music to spell bacchanale right...)
for next year our show is called "From Earth to Sky." I have seen the shirts and they are AWESOME razz but hard to describe, and our opener is called "Remembrance". I don't know the other songs, but i do know the begining of the drill: there will be a line of people across the front to the field representing the ground. Everyone else is scattered aroung representing the sky. Everyone is facing back field. The sky ppl get to sway on thier own until the pit comes in with the melody. (it starts out with a couple of solos.)

It was such a great show...I lost the foot joint of my flute at state with that show! :} I'm glad to hear that. With the introduction my BD gave, I didn't seem to excited.

We're doing Pulse by John Meehan this year blaugh We're also the only school in the state that's doing it. I'm so pumped. It sounds awesome already (though I'm having a devil of a time practicing the music >_<)

I can never say 'Oh, I've done that show before' and such because we always get new music every year...our marching band is a bit overpriviliged, I think. ^^; Maaaan...I want new music every year...I mean, the show itself is different every year (usually the BD or a certain band parent by the nickname of "God" who works at the local university music program writes it for us) but the pep and stand music is always the same, and it annoys me xp My BD was saying that we might get something commissioned just for us by Meehan next year...but I'll be graduated and gone by next year crying

Our shows are cool and all, but our directors make them up every year then commission a drill writer and a music arranger to make it. So we never do anything someone has ever done or anything.

I'm going into my sophomore year
my freshman year show was The Rock Project
It had songs from the 80s like
Blackdog, Bohemian Rhapsody, and others
my sophomore show is gonna be
The Rock Project Part II: Chaos Theory
I think this one will have 90s rock
I'm not exactly sure yet
I loved the rock project
so I think Chaos Theory will be awesome
I can't wait EDIT:
We're going to play songs from tool and nine inch nails
at least that's what I was told that would be so flippen awesome
