Vaati glanced over to Kai with a blink, noticing his wound as the blood slowly dripped down from it.
"You shouldn't move around. It will make the venom spread faster. I suggest you get it out soon."
His voice was not a tone of concern, if anything it was monotonous and uncaring, and his only intention was to inform. He then turned his gaze back to Inari. Perhaps then he might feel a little more at east, since Vaati had finally broken his glare. In spite of this, his eyes remained narrow and focused, even as he felt the slight twinge of confusion as to why it was 'nice to meet him'.
"... Yes... nice."

Tulio gave off another deep growl. But this time on purpous. "What's with you!?" He shouted standing suddenly. "Are you trying to be creepy? I don't care who you are, or who you think you are! Gem color makes no diffrence to me. But, if you continue with your strange attitude, I wont hessitate to bring you down!" Tulio bent down on his hunches. He was tired of this 'game'. But, just as he was about to lerch forward twards Vaati, who probly could have taken Tulio down with ease, his ears perked forward. Something, or someone, not too far from there positon had snaped a twig, catching Tulio's attention. "There's another one?" Tulio asked, mostly to himself.

The cold indifference settled around Inari once again, the surprise of the other’s – Vaati, he repeated the name to himself – appearance wearing off.
He inclined his head slightly, “Yes, nice. I’m glad we’re agreed.” and of course, unable to keep the sarcastic remark from slipping out. Not that he had something particularly against Vaati. He could feel the thick tension hanging around them slowly begin to slip away.
A small grin arranged itself on Inari’s face at Vaati’s seemingly disinterest with Kai’s state.
Head snapped towards Tulio at his outburst. The last thing they needed was a confrontation with Vaati who, compared to them, knew the forest well. It would be all too easy to simply be lost forever in the dense woods.
“Tulio,” He brushed against him slightly, trying to warn and calm his anger at the same time.

Vaati's eyes darted over to Tulio, the glow becoming noticeably more luminous for a moment before returning to normal. All that had moved were his eyes, the slitted pupils partially hidden behind the glow.
His maw twisted into a grin, all of the chartreuse and dark aura increasing in some way if only for an instant, and inside of his mouth too, emitted a glow.
"I am not trying to be anything. If you're interpretation of me has come off as "creepy", that is of no interest to me. Think as you please. However, I would think before you speak the next time you do so. Whether you pay heed to the colour of my gem or not, it makes no difference to me. It might be of some use to you though, next time you wish to challenge me."
It was true that Vaati knew the forest well, for he and Reikka enjoyed it and had, on several occasions, explored its twists, turns, surprises, and exits.
In any case, Vaati began taking down mental notes on the Ulaya he had encountered, on which he decided to put in a good word for Inari, though the same could not be said for Tulio. More self-control, is what he might have written.

Kai sighed to himself as he watched everything unfold. 'Nice going Tulio...' he thought. He sat himself down on the ground with a plop. He knew he had to get the poison out of him now or it wouldn't look to good for him. He bit on his wound and tried to suck some of the blood out. 'Let's hope this works..' he thought.

((I keep wanting to type Vaati's name as 'Vanti'. XD)) Tulio brought his attention back to Vaati. "I don't trust you." He hissed through his teeth. "Why are you here in this forest, hmm?" Tulio asked, trying to pry at the way this Ulaya thought.

His glowing eyes remained on Tulio, narrow and flickering with lime green and chartreuse. A smirk crossed his maw, casual and calm, almost as if he were simply blowing the Ulaya off.
Vaati did not though, and proceeded in answering Tulio's question, as well as a retaliation to his statement.
"I never asked you to trust me. Don't believe me if you so desire, but if you don't trust in my reply, then you should not bother to ask me in the first place."
The Ulaya paused for a moment before continuing on to answer the inquiry in question.
"If you must know, my sister and I come here often, as it is a pleasurable place for the both of us, in it's own since. The beach is not far from the western edge of this forest as well, and as there are few who dare try to navigate through this place, it is an untainted area of privacy. Very peaceful."
Again, he paused, thinking his ideas through before vocalizing them to the other Ulaya around him. They seemed relatively harmless, as well as weary. He might as well take them to the place he spoke of, as Reikka would do so once she arrived in any case.

Tulio found himself growling lowly. He looked at Inari, "I don't trust him. But I'm willing to follow him, only if you are. We can't forget that Kai is hurt, there's another Ulaya farther back behind us who may fall behind and get lost." He nudged Inari lightly.
"What do you want to do?"
