Slowly, deliberately, and cautiously, Argyros approached the throne where the king sat. Her dearest and oldest friend stood beside him. She knelt before the King.
“Argyros, Mage, Healer, and Friend kneels before thee and gives allegiance to thee.” Her voice was clear so that all could hear.
She very seldom left her caves. She was happy to be solitary and distant, but her king called, and therefore she answered.

The Lady Gwyndaras heart skipped a beat when she watched Argyros enter the room and approach the throne. No one really knew how the old sorceress would respond to the call to arms. Gwyndara was happy to see her old friend again, but wondered what would come of their meeting together after so many years. She had been busy and didn’t make it down to the caves as often as she should have. When Argyros looked at her, she winked, and the woman actually winked back. Gwyndara had missed her friend and was glad to see her again.

Ezekiel Mantle Sage~of~Water Ezekiel Mantle Ezekiel walked into the great hall with a cofident stride. His eyes travled across the room Everybody there look so... so... Well, he could just feel his stomach churning. He flipped his raven locks out of his emerald green eyes and a charming smile crossed his lips. He pulled his black gloves tighter to his hands. As he passed a group of females, he winked at them, knowing exsactly the effect that it would have on them. God, did the ladies ever like him. They started whispering amongst themselves and the smile turned into a smug smirk. When he reached the king, he gave a low bow, jutting out his one arm dramaticly. Between his thumb and forefinger was a white rose and he twirled it around. " Sire," he said. His voice was a lovely tenor and caught the attention of most, " I, Ezekiel Mantle, son of Ashton Mantle, come here to offer my humble services." He stood up and flipped his sheet of black hair. " I do hope that my many skills will be of help." Eirwin looked up and heard a familiar voice her body tensed up. "YOU! She yelled at the top of her lungs, when she realized what she had done she smiled and tried to calm herself down."What skills? How to make a girl fall for you in a minute?"Ezekiel's eyes widened as they landed on the Ranger. He cleared his throat and shook his head. He gently took her arm and took her over to the corner of the room. He didn't want her to get hurt, and by the way some people were looking at her, someone might have. " Listen, " he said. His mind was forming things that he could use as an excuse for leaving like he did. " Let's talk about that later. Here isn't the place or time." She looked at him and gave a slight laugh and shook her head. "What, you don't want people to know what a scum bag you are?" She looked at him with fierce eyes,"Fine!"

Christophers had moved about the room taking in all the familiar and unfamiliar faces that were present. Jhaccara's mannerisms he could not help but find humorous, but he was sure not to tell her that. She did after all have a temper.
Christophers made to one area of the room, and discovered the new magus that had just arrived, and one of the rangers in a heated discussion. Christophers would normally of been polite and avoided it, but he decided this to be an exception to the rule for two reasons, one, it was inappropriate in the presence of the King, dispite how discreet they were attempting to be, and secondly, Jhaccara was on the prowl, and she had no patience for this type of activity.
His hand fell to the pommel of his sword. Not to bring it out to challenge anyone, but more to enhance his spells if the need came.
"Excuse me, is there a problem?"

Ezekiel smiled and shook his head. He backed away from the ranger. Exsactly what he was trying to say and he hoped that Eirwin understood that he was just trying to protect them both.
" No problem at all," he said, " I just was trying to arrange something so we could talk AFTER this shin-dig."
Did I just say SHIN-DIG?
Disgust rolled in his stomach. How could such informal words escape his lips? Being of noble blood, Ezekiel knew that he knew better.

A vein appeared on Haseo's forehead. His right foot tapped on the floor repeatively. He was getting annoyed by the increasing crowd, and the fact that he was very bored. "I'm going to lose my mind..."

L'Ange had noticed Christophers walking through the room and talking with people around. She started walking towards him and smiled as he turned his head to her. "Hello, Christophers, how have you been?"

The Steward checked her watch and tapped her foot. The presentation should be released for the evening as the assemblage was getting restless. They could at least let those who'd made their appearance go to their rooms for a well earned rest. (Hint Hint wink )

The King stepped off the dais, and looked around at those that were assembled.
"Thank you all for your support, and welcome all of you newcomers who answered my summons. We all know what awaits us, and together we will face those challenges."
The King moved a little bit more, and stood near the doors. His squires and such perplexed on how the King was acting.
"Well I have kept you all long enough, see the Castle Steward to find your quarters and such. I have other pressing duties, and you all have yours. Thank you all for your time."
With that a squire opened the door, and the King left.

"About damn time. I could not wait any longer. Now where's that steward guy that knows where our rooms are," he said to himself as he pushed off of the column he was leaning on.
Haseo walked back into the mass and looked around for the steward. Which one it was, he couldn't remember for the life of him.

Myth had entered the now empty room, searching for someone "The King left already? Looks as though my chance has slipped..." He spoke aloud and to himslef, but was certain everyone was out of earshot...
