Finally seeing through Akio's plan, she smiled warmly and returned the snuggle. With satifaction, Faith stared into the fire, at a safe enough distance to keep her eyes from frying. They were lowered as she let her muscles relax and lean on Akio.

Akio blushes. "How is your leg, Faith?" He asked. Akio looks out the window. The snow has stop falling but the snow covered all the windows. The could never get out, any time soon. He relaxed his body and thought about something else.

Faith sighed and looked down the her leg. "Well, it's not hurting. At least." she replied. There simply was not much she could do until her leg got better. Her mind wandered to her sister, Hope, who had gotten these kinds of injuries daily because of her over-active lifestyle of ballet dancing. "Someone's bound to find us. I hope."

Akio smiles a little. "Well thats good to know." He said. He looks at her then at the window and back at Faith. "So.. What should we do next?" He asked.

Faith waggled her paw around a bit, a trick she'd learned before, to test out if it was able to be useable. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much. Time was a good healer, afterall. She set it on the ground and glanced at Akio before unwraveling the bandages. Once she got them off she shook it again and hopped up in the air. "Yeah, yea-uh!" she said gleefully. "We're gonna get out of here!" she said to Akio as she ran up to a windowsill and looked outside, with an almost manic grin.

Akio sighs. "We can't get out Faith.. The snow is blocking everything around this cabin..." He whisper. He jumps off the couch and sits next to the windowsill where Faith was.

Faith furrowed her brow in thought before turning to look at the snow outside. "That's impossible! We can't just live here forever!" she said in an increasingly raging voice. "I mean, it's snow!" She paced back and forth on the sill to calm down and began to formulate plans in her head. "We've got one and a half brains here. We can think of something."

Akio tilts his head and stares at her. "Don't you mean two brians?" He asked. He looks at the fire and at a weird stick next to it. He cought the stick on fire and breaks a window. He puts the flame next to the snow and watches it melt. "Ha! I got it Faith! We might get out of here!" He exclaimed.

"No, actually, I don't think my brain works too well anymore. So I consider it a half." Faith pointed out while watching the snow melt. It took her a second to comprehend it and she skittered to snatch another stick from the fire and repeat what Akio did. She watched a small pile of snow dissolve into water and she pawed at the remaining snow, hoping the foundation of it would get weaker. "More!"

Akio burns a bigger stick and puts it next to the snow. The snow melted faster. "Well.. The bigger the stick, the more snow that will melt." He said with a nod.

Faith thought on Akio's comment for a moment and shook her head. "Ch'yeah!" she agreed with anotherstick in her mouth with a tamed flame on the end. She pranced up the snow and put it in the deeper hole through the pile. After Faith pawed at the hole the two were constructing, a light appeared, revealing a peephole to the outside to Faith and Akio.

Akio throws the stick back in the fire. He digs a hole though the hole that was already there. He made it big enough so he and Faith can get out. He looks at the window and realized that they couldn't go thought the small hole. He got a blanket and smashed a hole in the glass. He looks at Faith. "Would you like to go out first or me?" He asked.

Without speaking she skitttered to the hole and popped out on the other side, taking in the light that poured out onto her face and making her body fill with warmness. She closed her eyes and breathed in the fresh air before turning around to see if Akio would come out. "Iiiiiit's safe!" Faith yelled through the hole to let Akio know that the weather had calmed.

Akio crawls though the holw and falls flat face on the snow. He put up his paw and motions it. "I'm okay." He said muffledly. He shakes his head and look around. "Now... Where do we go?.." He said.

Faith scanned the snow-blanketed horizon in search of an answer. It seemed to be empty until Faith switched her attention to the bottom of the mountain, where she imagined a drunken Fluff to be waiting for them. She looked back at Akio, who landed facedown and giggled. "Oh-ho, genius." she said with a hint of sarcasm. "My best guess is....down."
