Um... pretty sure it was on his Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes album, which means it premiered alongside his biggest hit to date, Margaritaville.
Yes and no, Margaritaville is NOT his biggest hit to date. That Title would belong to "Hey Good Lookin'" off of his more recent release License to Chill(which was his first #1 selling album as well). But you did have the album correct. So you get 45%, as you werent sure.

I like Country, and Trace Adkins is my favorite singer. It's not about his pickup. It's about him and how he's a rough and ready cowboy hick who don't give a s**t about what anyone else thinks about him. Yes, he mentions that his truck has 'earnhart racing sticker on the wing of my banged up fender, four by four, tail pipes roar primer and rust all over the door, scarred up knuckles, wrangler belt buckle,' etc.' It's not JUST about the truck. (THis isn't meant as a slam, it's pointing out that you are wrong in your information.)

I used the wrong word, if you want to be picky, I thought you would get what I meant... anyhow yeah... everything referring to Landfall was accurate, so the bit about Margaritaville is irrelevant.

ALso, Hey good Lookin' is sung by him and a group of others, and they (in my mind) get credit for helping sell the song. Margaritaville is probably his biggest selling song that he sang by HIMSELF.

Looks like I wasn't wrong, I didn't say Just about his pickup. rofl But, his pickup is a rather big part... first... I dunno... ten lines?
