If they were that big, they would absolutely tower over the small mage. He squeaked a bit. "I-I th-think maybe I'll just practice on my own..."

Kaleb chewed on his lower lip a bit. The mage was easily frightened by anything fiendish, but then again, if he could handle something that scared him so badly, he would be better prepared for that kind of thing outside training. "Reno, w-would you be able to show me one sometime?" He asked timidly.

"Yea sure ... could use beating the s**t out of one." He'd need it if the pile of paperwork on his desk really all did need to get completed.

Kaleb smiled weakly, happy that Reno would accompany him, but terrified at the thought that he would have to see one. Still, whatever made him stronger... "Y-you will call me when you're ready?"

"Yea ... gotta get the paperwork done first." He eyed Rufus' back as their Boss laughed. "Lots of paperwork"

Kaleb smiled a bit more, but then he noticed that they were in a hallway he recognised. "I-I could probably find my way out from here, but you said you were going to get my handprint?"

"Come by tomorrow at noon. I will have Tseng get you into the system." He could have done it himself then but unlike Reno he didn't want to be in the office any longer than needed. He could work for home.

Kaleb nodded with a smile. "Okay, I-I won't be late," he said, before turning to make his way down the hall towards the exit.
It was a simple matter to make sure he was on time the next day, particularily since a portal spell was so much faster than the walk to the office building. The mage knocked on the door to Rufus' office right before noon, having felt a little weird about portaling right into the room without being called and asked to do so.

The door slid open after a moment and Tseng looked down at Kaleb. "Ahh, you're on time." He held the door open for the smaller mage. "Rufus is in a meeting but i believe you are here for codes to get into other parts of the building?"

Kaleb smiled up at Tseng and nodded, before stepping through the door. "Rufus said you needed to get my handprint so I could practice in the gym."

"Ahh yes." He motioned for Kaleb to follow him. "Most of the parts of the building that are meant for Turk access require our handprints." Heading though Rufus office he opened another door which lead to his own office.

Kaleb nodded and followed quickly. He had never been into Tseng's office before, and he couldn't help but look around a bit. "The gym isn't the only place a handprint would unlock?" He asked, he really hadn't given much thought to the security in the building, except for anything magical that might have blocked his portal spell.

His office was rather empty. A large long room covered in dark colors and empty save for his desk in the back in front of a large window.
"The gym, you have to have it to get into the labs, the floors above this one, and should you come in the front door alone you will need your ID card"
