Neji sighed, looking at Naruto with a I-am-your-father-go-to-your-room look before turning his gaze back to Shikamaru. "I don't understand how the two of them were even invited to such a party." He muttered softly, adverting his gaze down to the ground once more.
Naruto glared at Kiba for a moment, nodding his head. "Fine, fine. I don't need this baka getting me in trouble with Granny Tsunade."

Shikamaru looked at Kankuro then but said nothing. I could take a guess... He stood there looking around the room and occasionally back at Neji, but was silent. He didn't see a reason to talk when there wasn't a need. Sure if someone talked to him, he'd answer, but sometimes it was just too troublesome.

Kankurou looked from Neji to Naruto to Kiba and did this for several minutes but stayed silent.i wonder if theses guys bicker as much as they do when they are home....

Naruto gave a stupid grin, shouting happily, "Let's get this party started, alright?" He walked away from Kiba to Neji and Shikamaru. "How about a game?"
Neji looked at him questioningly. "Isn't that a bit elementary, Naruto?" He wanted to know what type of game since when they were all younger most of the time games like 'Truth or Dare' never got exciting.

You never know when it comes to Naruto. Shikamaru thought as he looked at the blond. "What did you have in mind?" Geeze, is he really thinking something like Truth or Dare? That certainly would make things interesting.

"Hm...Let's see..." Naruto smirked slightly. Strip poker...No. Truth or Dare...Yeah! He shouted excitedly in his head. "Truth or Dare, but may Dare or House on fire." He smiled another stupid grin, sitting down on a couch.
(Ooc: House on Fire is a game me and my friends play. You can only choose between Dare or that and when it's House on Fire it's normally extreme. Like ten times better than Dare. :3)
Neji stared at Shikamaru, figuring it'd be better if he chose. House on Fire sounds a bit extreme... He thought, trying not to seem nervous since there were only guys in the room.

Shikamaru sighed. "I knew you'd come up with something troublesome, Naruto." Maybe I should say I need fresh air and go outside so I don't have to play... "Er, I think I could use some air." he took a few steps towards the door but someone grabbed his arm. Damn...

Neji looked a Shikamaru. "You didn't really think you'd leave me with two idiots and the birthday boy, now did you?" He smirked, looking over at Naruto who looked like he would jump out of his pants if he didn't play a game.

"Can't blame me for trying." Shikamaru muttered. When he turned around to face Neji, a slight blush crept into his cheeks. He hadn't realized how close he was, their toes were now touching.

Neji smiled. "Yeah, too bad I didn't think of it first." He let go of Shikamaru's arm, looking at him directly in the eye.
Naruto stared at the two curiously. "What's going on here?" He snickered delightedly. "Aw..Neji and Shikamaru sitting in a tree..."

Shikamaru turned towards Naruto, eyes wide and cheeks a bit pink. "B-baka!" He took a step away from Neji. "Don't say such stupid things, Naruto!"

At that moment Shikamaru was imagining strangling Naruto for bringing up the idea, then embarrassing him. I guess I'm stuck playing now. "Whatever. Let's just do something."

Naruto jumped up excitedly. "Hey! Shikamaru! Dare or House on Fire?" He shouted loudly, hoping the Nara genius would pick House on Fire for everybody's amusement.
