And now to put 禁断 through a translator..(and I'm almost positive the second kanji's right; it's hard to tell with it being so crowded on there though)

If I try to translate Gazette lyrics (which I might do sometime, I have translated one song with MUCH usage of translators for kanji - just the kanji, not the full lyrics; that wouldn't be ME translating it) don't kill me if I screw up terribly. XD

I use Excite's translator on their Japanese page, along with animelab. heart

Sometimes animelab comes up with things that make more sense than the excite one, when there's multiple readings for a kanji. I like having more than one reference. On animelab, I use both their dictionary and their translator.

http://excite.co.jp/world/english <--Usually does a pretty good job; gives a basic idea if translating a lot of text, but the best translating is to use it just to translate the kanji and use your own knowledge of sentence structure to put it together. I need to learn more sentence structure, though, I had to guess on a lot for the song I translated based on context. D:

But I don't recommend using them for obscure kanji. XD It can make basic sense of Asagi's diary entries, but..I can't translate his lyrics using them. I tried with Taiyou wo Okuru Hi. I'm using Asagi as an example because D was playing when I started typing this and because he uses a LOT of obscure kanji in his lyrics. >>; heart

Maybe the translation is actually "prohibited love"? Since no is a possesive marker a lot of the time...*Shrug*
