Hey everyone. I'm sort of working under the assumption that anyone who's been a member of this guild for any length of time probably doesn't read this thread, but here goes anyway:
I'm Alexis, but I don't expect anyone to remember that. Amphisbena is fine. I just changed my username, I used to be disinfected. I was a regular at LI for awhile, but so antisocial that I doubt anyone noticed me.
I'm 21, a senior in college majoring in computer science. I like video games, good movies, good food, and dinosaurs. I'm very impatient, but I try to be nice.
1) Abortion. Pro-choice.
2) Teen sex. Gross, but inevitable.
3) Teen pregnancy. Makes me want to punch things.
4) Gay marriage. Civil unions.
5) Sexual preference. Has nothing to do with me?
6) Suicide. See above, though if pressed I would say it's bad.
7) Self-harm. Lame and hard to take seriously.
9) Love. I don't see how I can have an opinion on this. It is what it is.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. People can ruin their own lives if they want to.
11) Religion. See above.

Like The Chumscrubber or Donnie Darko or like Harry Potter or something? Heh, thank you. ninja As for good movies.. I generally like independent/foreign/classic films, although I guess "good" is a subjective word that I shouldn't have used. So Harry Potter = no. I did like Donnie Darko, though!

I generally like independent/foreign/classic films, although I guess "good" is a subjective word that I shouldn't have used. So Harry Potter = no. I did like Donnie Darko, though! So pretty much anything not produced in Hollywood. I sympathize. As for foreign films/independant films, I'm pretty much limited to Careful!, Amelie, and Mysterious Skin. But I liked those about 38 to 45 times better than anything I saw in a Carmike Cinemas.

My name is Angle of Mercy, Banner creator Extrordinare! Where i stand on the issues:
1) Abortion.
Im pro choice, im wasnt put on this earth to tell you what you can and cant do.
2) Teen sex.
My personal stand is that im not going to have sex untill im old enough to deal with the conciquences. But i wont tell you what to do, if you want to ruin you life that way then go ahead, go knows there are worse ways to ruin your life.
3) Teen pregnancy.
I have absolutly nothing to say about that
4) Gay marriage.
Hellz Ya!!! I think gay people should have the same rights as everyone else damit.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference).
Be what you wanna be, life to short to be something you hate.
6) Suicide.
No matter what you think there is someone who loves you. But if your gunna do it at least make it quick and painless.
7) Self-harm.
I have to say that Self-harm is a bad thing, i know it may take the pain away but it doesnt last forever.... Believe me
9) Love.
Love is a great thing, find it and never let go...
10) Drugs and Alcohol.
Drugs and alcohol are feeble minds attempts at escapism... Your all better than that
11) Religion.
Faith and Relgion are fantastic things, the problem starts when we give mortal men diving power.

1) Abortion.
In my own PERSONAL opion it should be illegal. This is just how I feel about it, and people may or may not agree but hey, I'm not saying this is the way it has to be.
2) Teen sex.
If they want to go ahead..... not like I'm going to be paying for it if they do.
3) Teen pregnancy.
If you have sex and get pregnant carry the baby 'cuz it's your own fault.
4) Gay marriage.
This should be legal. After all, who can say who one falls in love with?
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference).
It is up to every one to decide for themselves.... I believe that you atre born with the ability to love both sexes but some of us are brought up by such narrow minded, bigoted people and this has a duel effect it can either cause them to be exactly like them or gay/bi in a way of defience..... same with th other except ya know....
6) Suicide.
It's really not my buisness if people kill themselves, I think they shouldn't but they do.
7) Self-harm.
Ok, I know alot of people who say that if you self-harm then you're suicidal. NOT TRUE! People can do this, if they want to.
9) Love.
Love...... this is a subject I'm really not to comfortable with so.....
10) Drugs and Alcohol.
They aint for me, the are a way of escaping reality.
11) Religion.
It's their own decision. They can choose their religion for themselves.

Hello! I'm 15 years old (16 this may!) I am, in fact, a girl and I love living! Not just partying and having a good time (although there is a time and place for that, too wink ) but I really enjoy going on walks through the woods near my house with a special friend or two and I love meeting new people. MY life goal is to become fluent in every language so that i can communicate with everyone in the world.
1) Abortion. - pro choice. I believe that there are some instances where abortion is necassary.
2) Teen sex. - well, I can't stop teens from having sex, but geez guys! Be careful!
3) Teen pregnancy. - I think that if the teens were having sex WERE more careful, then there wouldn't be this problem. But I don't think that young girls around my age who get pregnant should just think of abortion as an easy way out and then go and get pregnant again! Teenagers who view abortion in this way have no buisiness having sex because they are recklessly dealing with someone elses life!
4) Gay marriage. - I think love is love. Who are we to tell people not to love? If you love each other and want to spend the rest of your lives together, regardless of sex, then by all means go ahead!
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference). - love is love.
6) Suicide. - Its the bad way out. Commiting suicide is just trying to take the easy way. Its also pretty selfish. Just think...in the long run you could be offereing advice to a kid who thinks that suicide is the right way to go...YOU could save a life...and if you don't think that makes life worth living, then you need some serious help in areas other than suicide issues.
7) Self-harm. - also bad. Why would you want to ruin something so beautiful as your own body?
9) Love. - I love love.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. - They should be used in moderation. I'm not partial to either, myself, but others I know seem to like them....just be careful with them...
11) Religion. - I dont really believe in a certain religion...I think the world needs religion to make it function properly, and i love learning about new religions, but like i said, I don't really care to follow a set one myself.

Hiya. Ima Erika, nickname me whatever you like I have tons of nicknames I answer to already. Stitch, Squee, Kiki, yadayadayada. I am 14 and have experienced so much in life already Im surprised im not already dead if i do say so myself. Let me round it up for you; Age 4-ish abuse from parents started, physical not sexual, still happens to this day. Later on maybe age 6 my mothers cousin (female) made me do sexual things that ended at age 10 when I began smoking and self-harming. Age 11 I foudn out that child abuse is illegal (yeah, i never knew) but I did not report my parents because their have been cases here in japan where the police was about 5 years too slow and the child was murdered. Age 11 stopped smoking and age 12 bipolar and depression REALLY began. Age 13 Bulimia began and bipolar and depression got serious, worst year of my life, then age 14 i quit cutting and bulimia and panic attacks began. Bipolar went away on its own surprisingly, I still have the panic attacks and depression rather badly and on top of that minor abuse compared to before and I have created an imaginary friend (no that is not funny). My bestfriends recently left telling me they hated me and didnt give a ******** about me and all these nasty things and im just here, suffering while they walk away. its not nice. Wondering whether to start cutting again.

Sure its their life I dunno what I would do but yeah. I can see why people do it.
2) Teen sex.
Not for it, sex ruins everything im saving myself for marriage. BUT i respect others points of view so if you want to have sex young, you do that.
3) Teen pregnancy.
No. This one I just..I can see why someone would do it, but I would NEVER have a baby as a teen. You couldnt pay me enough to do it

I am bi-sexual but I dont love people for their gender. I love them because they are who they are.

I am atheist/agnostic and I wish people would stop being all "oh god i love you" and yeah. I mean believe in god if you like, but LIVING for god is just plain stupid if you ask me. Their have been wars and people making enemies because of religion, GEEZ JUST FLIPPING DROP IT AND LET EACH OTHER BELIEVE WHAT THE HELL THEY WANT FOR PENGUINS SAKE.

7) Self-harm. -i dont mind as long as you keep yourself i dont like it but if you want to go ahed the diffrence i see between suicide and self-harm is suicide hurts more people to as they call it "Free" them selves i bleave that you killing yourself because of your pain well the people that care end up going threw more pain then you did iv seen it my hole school went to depression because of a guy killing himself

Mreow, hello, my name is KageShujin, but Kage will go. I am 16, and that is all that I feel that you all should know about me.
Mreow, there are a lot of topics that I dislike, religion being the chief one. Anything else I can easily give advice for. Love, drugs, suicide, and gay marriage are my main focuses, but I can really give advice on anything.
