DreamerSpirit Remember, there's a major difference between looking like a beautiful bisque doll and looking like a member of KISS. I won't take that as an insult towards them... As for me, my skin is light, but it's not pale, either.

DreamerSpirit Remember, there's a major difference between looking like a beautiful bisque doll and looking like a member of KISS. Whats wrong with looking a member of KISS? I hear Gene Simmons has great luck with the ladies due to no reproductive muscles in his body, but thats not discussion for polite society.

Also you can try using parasols when its sunny ^^
and use sun-cream every day if you wear foundation, then either put the sun-cream on first, or mix it with the foundation
even in the winter 3nodding

Personally I find pale skin very pretty. I prefer it, actually.
Me, myself? I have pale skin, because I rarely tan, and when I do it's only a very small amount that goes away after awhile. 99% of the time I just burn. I don't look pale though. Just pink. xp

I'm not pale at all. My mother is hispanic and 1/4 japanese but her family is very dark. My dad's swedish and white as hell. I have an olive complexion and it works well with all the black clothes and wierd color hair but as for paleness I would like to be lighter but it really wouldn't matter. As for the lemon juice thing it's good to put on zits to dry them out.

GothMusic Kind of an out of place question [but I don't wanna make a whole new thread to embarass myself], where can I get a fishnet top? I told my friends that I wanted one of those today, and they laughed. THAT I expected, but I didn't expect my best friend to call me gay for it. cry

having about the same skin tone as my avatar, I find pale skin impossible. It's fine for those who can achieve it, I guess.

I hope this doesn't come off wierd, because I say it a lot. I love you. or, maybe, so it doesn't come off wierd, I love your post? I just don't want to wierd anyone out. (Most useage of "Wierd" in one post?) DreamerSpirit I really want to clear up a few things here... First off, some skin bleaching products contain dangerous substances, and aren't good for your skin at all. If you HAVE to bleach, use somthing relativley safe, such as lemon juice or dilluted peroxide. Also, to all of you, love who you are! If you're dark-skinned it dosn't mean that you can't be a gothic beauty! I've met many a beautiful goth who has had a dark complexion. Don't lament over naturally dark skin, embrace it! Find makeup which highlights and compliments your features, not makeup to try and make you appear to be pale. 3nodding

Fenderstratogirl l.a.v. nany2006 give me the name of this make-up....>.< choose a foundation 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin color, and dust it over with the lightest color face powder you can find. if your skin is sensitive, try a lotion with lemon juice and vinegar in it. also, try this website for ways to be more pale: http://www.geocities.com/rainforest/vines/2010/gawthpallor.html That site's actually really cool. It even has stuff to lighten up freckles! Lol <3 I tried one of the freckle removers (the one that uses grated horseradish) Well it does not get rid of your freckles and does burn like hell the first few times you try it, it clears your skin of acne and such. It also gives you a paler appearence.

One thing I hate about being pale: ACNE! Ugh, the lighter your skin is, the more acne stands out, same applies to really any skin flaw. I'm trying to get rid of my acne, but it's annoying how much it shows up because then people think I don't take care of my face. Ick!

Abusive Mana Also you can try using parasols when its sunny ^^ rofl That reminds me of this episode of Danny Phantom where the "goth" girl goes to a center for troubled teenagers, and Danny says, "wow, I've never seen so many goths out in the daytime!" and these two goths opened these little black parasols so they wouldn't get too much sun! I hate how that show plays on goth stereotypes, especially since it's aimed at younger kids. I don't watch it, but my 12 year old sister does. I don't want little kids growing up thinking goths really are like the goths on those shows.
