Bluefuzzy No, I mean I did not know how to read until I was nine. Then the first thing I read for pleasure was Harry Potter. From there on, I have read hundreds of books; some of which where excellent; some where horrid. I usually read ten books at once. And being homeschooled, and thus having alot of time on my hands does help. Isidar: No, he wasn't trying to convince us it was 'real', it was to get inside of Barty's head. Besides, the whole thing with first person and sidenotes was very good in my mind. it shows that the author's mind isn't only skin deep. Look at LOTR. no, i know but i mean Jonathon Stange and Mr. Norrell does, was rather boring book too... besides, at the time i started reading Amulet of Samarkland (howeva you spell it) i had tons of tests and stuff. Maybe that was a reason as well..

yeah, Dan Brown is just a little bit wacko. Wait I take that back. TOTALLY wacko. When he was asked if he were to make it into an accurate historical account, he said he wouldn't change anything. Nuts.

I recomend, The Merlin Conspiracy, I'm reading it right now and it is VERY good. It makes you think. The author is Diana Whynne Jones. It's about different worlds (( kinda like different earths in different dimensions, but not futuristic.)) With a boy, (( Nick)) and a girl (( Roddy)) who have to kinda join to overthrow the conspiracy... created by the new merlin who was chosen for the king of Blest, also joined with other people. Very interesting and the author manipulates your mind to make you think the story is going a certain way but... you end up being wrong. Anyways if this made you confused, Forget what I said. The book is so good it's hard to explain....
GOOD READING
