Diruak wasted no time, immediatley sending a collumn of light after her as he rushed after her.

Arch felt rather useless. He knew there was all of nothing he could do. He considered the whole "you can fight it, Ruby!" routine, but that was very cheesy, and not very likely to work.

"Fhuckihn ehy...." He grumbled. "Ruby, faihgt thaht twho-biht whoah!" He yelled out.

((Hell, what do you expect him to do? It's big guns VS evil big guns, Arch could maybe run her over, but I don't have the stats for that written up yet.))

Ruby turned around to face Arch, then fell forward to embrace him as the wings moved in. With her lips against the curve of his neck, she held him tight, and whispered a name to him, "Delepitorael." She kissed the skin of his neck before she was teleported to the tower balcony by an infuriated Scarlet.

Ignoring Diruak, Scarlet sent a shadowed creature in the direction of Arch, in dire need of killing him as soon as possible. The creature moved in the shadows cast by the moonlight, but two yellow eyes would shine out, staring like a cat. With swift movement it bounded and swiped at the angel, only claws and fangs discernable from the general darkness of it's being. (5 damage per attack 30LP)

The creature shrieked and snapped it's jaws at Arch's wings as they came down, ripping into whatever form lay in the darkness. Diruak's sword slid into it's side, but a swipe of claws came slashing towards the Archangel. (8 )

Scarlett swore as the shadow beast was cornered "Lucas! I need you!"

In a flash the golden haired man was leaning against the wall, a coin flipping across his knuckles. "I knew you want me, love?"

"No time for your antics, Lucas," Scarlet glared at him, "we need to kill the angel, now."

He glanced casually down to see the fight between the angels and the shadowcat, "Ah, the shiny large one? or the one who fancies red curls?" Scarlet gave a slight nod to the second one, and Lucas shrugged, "Ruby's not going to be pleased, but very well mistress."

"It doesn't matter what Ruby thinks, in a moment I'll have my own form returned to me. Ruby and the rest will be dead." She turned away from the balcony, going directly to her bookshelf, and pulling out the black book with blood red letters. She had a strange smile on her face, half of rage, and half pure elation. She'd been looking for her own name for the last fourteen nights, and the little Mississippi spitfire had managed to figure it out first. She was just lucky Ruby hadn't known what to do with it once she'd deciphered it. Her only hope now, was that Arch hadn't realized what he was given, or he he didn't know how to use it either.

She turned to Lucas, "Fight them, I need you to by me the time while I finish the ritual, kill the shaded angel, and fight the other to the death if needed."

Lucas dropped the coin, "To the death?"

"Lux Ferar, Lightbringer, b*****d son of Moriel, you will do as I say."

He set out his palm and the coin levitated back into his hand, "of course, Mistress, my loyalty....is as good as my name." He gave an ironic grin and stepped off the balcony, dropping down to the ground in a puff of violet smoke, a dark substance that floated low along the stone courtyard, thicker and heavier than air. He reformed and flipped his coin into the air, pulling a long black pole out of it, with the flair of a fancy magic trick.
"take your time with the cat, angels, afterwards, I suppose you may assist me with that light bathing business."

Weakness: Cannot cross over living water (can teleport--but a bridge'll kill him), is burned by iron, cannot move across a circle of chalk or salt, and cannot handle the ringing of silver bells (hates the christmas song too). Oh, and he can't part with his coin without panicking, he considers it his luck....and it damn well is. He's cursed without it.


(And to push things a bit further...buwahhaha. Scarlet is at the moment using her true name to bring back her own form--using Ruby's blood and body as a mold/replacement --It's a long process to set up, and will take her 13 posts to complete if undisturbed.)

The shadow creature dispersed at th last swing of the wings, having reached it's max.

Lucas gave Diruak a slight nod, "I'd rather not, but until my name is my own, neither is my will." He pushed the tip of the staff foward toward the archangel's middle, a dark shard of ice forming at the tip of it with the intention of damaging the armer. (8 5 50)

Scarlet was kneeling on the floor, the red curls draped over her black eyes, and her head bent forward, with complete focus on finishing the circle of blood on the marble tile. (1 of 13)
She glanced up as Arch entered, stopping her progress. The black eyes slowly paled to grey, but they weren't Ruby's, they lacked the playful warmth, and were cold as ice. "Sug, y'don't have to do this. It can just be you an' me in the castle, we'll let the shiny guy go home, an' we can spend forever, just the two of us, makin' pranks, jumpin' on furniture, playin' games, just like it should be." As she talked a long red knife began to form in her hand, hidden behind her back. She looked for Arch's eyes behind his sunglasses, pulling her face into the perfect mirror of a Ruby pout. "Isn't that what you want, sug?"
