Kaleb felt a shiver run all the way down his back when he felt Reno lick him. "Nn, what did you do that for?" he asked, turning his head to look at the redhead. The healer wrapped his arms around his waist, above were Reno held onto him, he really didn't know how to take Reno's cute and innocent comment. At least he could be relieved he wouldn't be molested at the office.

Kaleb frowned, that was no information at all. He huffed a bit but didn't press it. "Was there anything else you wanted from me, aside from the healing?" He asked after a couple seconds of silence, thinking perhaps it was time to go back to his studies.

"N-no, that's not what I meant," Kaleb said quickly, dismayed that Reno had misread his intentions. "I-I just have my test coming up, and I need to practice..." He frowned. "I-I would stay if you didn't mind," he added quietly, fidgeting slightly.

"I'm the one who drug you over here and pulled you into my lap, why would i mind?" He raised a brow and nuzzled Kaleb again. The kid was too cute for his own good even if Reno had told himself he'd keep his hands mostly to himself.

Kaleb blushed at the reminder that he was indeed sitting comfortably in Reno's lap. "Y-you wouldn't mind if I practiced here for awhile?" he asked timidly, still fidgeting a bit. "I-it might not be comfortable if you want me to sit with you."

"As long as you don't wreck my house, don't care." He shruged and looked up as Rude came out of the kitchen with sandwiches. "What would be uncomfortable about it?"
"When was the last time you liked having someone use materia on your lap?" He set the plate down and dropped himself on the other end of the couch.

Reno was silent for a moment and then his mouth opened. "Rea .."
"Don't even think about it." He picked up a sandwich piece and took a bite.

Those two knew each other so well, Kaleb was completely lost between the things they didn't say out loud. He gave them both a confused glance, but figured it couldn't be helped. "Reno, would you mind if I got my notes?"

He slid his arms from around Kaleb. "Sure .. i want food anyway." He reached around the blond for a sandwich piece.

Kaleb smiled. "Thanks," he chirped, slipping off Reno's lap and conjuring a glowing portal. He stepped through into his apartment, and quickly located the large book he had been studying from before he had received the phone call. His notes would take a bit more time to find, as they were currently scattered here and there all over his apartment.
