OK, so it's hard to tell if Xena and Gabby would have died from the haunting. On the one hand, Eve kept doing that annoying "In the name of Eli..." thing over and over again, but it was Xena that killed Mephistopheles in the end. I don't know.
I do know, however, that if it wasn't for Eve, none of it would have happened in the first place! If Eve hadn't been born, then Xena would never have killed all the Olympian gods, and Mephistopheles never would have tried to take his reign of power to the earth, and he never would have sent spirits to haunt Cyrene, the Amphipolitans never would have burned Cyrene at the stake, and everything would have been hunky dory. stare Stupid Eve. mad
