AzureLady "Is it just me, or does anyone else think that drinks taste better in glass as opposed to plastic cups?" "There's actually a difference?" Angie asked. "I've never noticed..."

"I think so," Azure replied. "But it may just be that I'm a bit odd. Especially with water. I swear it all tastes completely different!"

"Exactly! I dislike almost all bottled water because the plastic tastes funny. I suppose I'm just weird though..." Azure shook her head, smiling, maybe laughing a bit at herself. "There are very few places I will drink water unless it has been drenched in ice and lemon juice to take the edge off of it. New York City, for instance, has absolutely amazing tasting water."
Then she laughed at herself for being so very silly.

Yume4 AzureLady "Is it just me, or does anyone else think that drinks taste better in glass as opposed to plastic cups?" "There's actually a difference?" Angie asked. "I've never noticed...""Yes its because pouring into a clean glass areates the drink making it taste fresher and glass is non-pores meaning it dosent absorb flavors. Plastic cups slowly aborbe flavors from ever thing thats put in it and gives of everthing thats been put in it in the next drink . Also glass has no scent leaving your nose free to smell the drink making it taste even better where as plactice has a scent that masks the soda smell." stats mumblmed from the couch leather.

"Shes right ever bottle of water tastes diffrent than the next since the chemicals/minreals ratio is diffrent in ever bottle. Its just like the diffrence beteen soda in bottles from two difrent botteling companys. "

Jei smiled. "Actually, New York City drinking water comes from resevoirs a ways away and is magnificently clean. That's why it tastes so good. I was startled too the first time I heard about New York City water."
She turned to Yume for a moment. "I think Stats is just smart like that. It makes a lot of sense though, chemistry and what not. My sister talks about that stuff all the time!"

Generaly water is chemiclay cleaned since it is eaiser and far safer. What I mean is the water is draw from the resevior then is forced the a heated filter system that adds trace amousnt of certain chemiclas and minerals while killing and cleaneing the water of bactirea and other nasty baddies. But I have heard that NYCs treatment plant is one of the best and most advanced in the countriy."

"Yes, yes it is." Jei agreed with a nod. "A good water source paired with a good system creates splendid water. It's so yummy!"

"Aw, poor Dessi." Azure smiled a bit. "You should see how liberally I use quotes and what not when I write stories and papers. Oddly, teachers seem like one million or so quotes. Go figure."
