Kasai clung pitifully to Ginseku's arm, her faced presser against his shoulder, and scowling at the man.
"Oh, sorry dude. My name's Mike. I just wanted to have a dance with the pretty lady." He bent down to Kasai's level and scratched the back of his head.
"You ok little miss?"
"I'll be fine... But next time, ask first..." She continued to scowl at him untill she heard Jessra on the speakers. She gave a quick tug on Ginseku's arm.
"Did you hear that Ginseku? You won!"

He blinked for a moment, hearing that announcement.
" I..won?.."
He stood there, speechless for several minutes.

James started clapping at the announcement. She was very happy for Ginseku. Now that the contest was over, maybe she could dance with Michael again, or go get something to drink.
Michael too was clapping. He walked over to Ginseku and went to shake his hand. "Congradulations man."

Ginseku stood silent for several moments, then realized that he coulde move now. He reached out, and shook michael's Hand.
"T-thank you...Its such an honor to win...."
He smiled wide, looking around. He looked at sai, grinning.
"Are you sure youre okay?..."

After shaking Ginseku's hand, Michael found his way to the punch table and got James and himself each a cup of it. He made his way back to James and offered her the cup in his right hand.
James had wondered where Michael had gone and had started searching for him when he appeared with the glass of punch. "It's like you read my mind!" she shouted due to the loudness of the music that had started back up again.

"I'm fine! But I can't believe you won!" Kasai literally glomped ginseku, giving him as big a hug as she could. She felt something warm and wet on her hands so she checked to see what it was. A frown crossed her brow and she immediately grabbed a hold of his hand and began to drag him off the cance floor and off toward the grass.
"You're hurt again! But I'm not going to let you out of my sight this time! I'll fix you up right here!" She plopped him down on the lawn and began rummaging through her kimono sleeves.

Ginseku blinked for a moment.
"Dont worry about it, im fine! really!"
He blushed at Her grabbing his hand. He sat there, looking at her rummaging through her kimono with a blank look on his face.

Kasai finally found what she was looking for. It was a small emerald colored bottle with a quark stop. She pulled the cork out and poured some of it on her hand, then recorked the bottle and set it down on the ground. Then she dipped two fingers into the liquid and began dabbing it along the cut on his back. The liquid began to chill her fingers rapidly and they felt as if they were being dipped in ice water. But after a few minutes they warmed up again.
"Now this might feel a little strange..."

Ginseku pulled off his coat, his wings stretching out straight. blood dripped off of his wings. Inch long incisions in his back bled slowly, dripping crimson droplets in small streams. Large slash and bullet wounds decorated his back like stripes on a tiger.
"Alright..."
(its Cork hun, not quark. I just wantcha to know)

((Sorry... was using the scientific version... subatomic quarks... sweatdrop ))
Kasai kneeled down on the grass and rubbed the liquid across each cut on his back. Once on his skin it began to glow a pale icy blue for a few seconds, and the blood stopped flowing. After a few silent minutes she had covered every cut along his back and began wiping away the blood with her clean palm. She leaned over his his back to reach his ear, chin restin gon his shoulder.
"Are there any more cuts?" She asked tenderly.

He slightly looked away, trying to hide the blush from her. Out of the corner of his eye, he looked back to see her face.

"That's good!" She smiled, and a blush colored her cheeks. She had a sudden urge to kiss his ear, but she shook it away. She uncorked the little green bottle and poured the excess liquid from her hand back into the jar, then tucked it away in her sleeve. She plopped down on the grass and tried to wipe Ginseku's half dried blood off her hands by rubbing them on the grass, but to no avail.

Ginseku walked off for a moment, then returned wtih his coat and guitar again.
He sat down, pulled out a pick, and played the main riff for cowboys from hell, trying to get his mind off of everything.
"you gonna go back to your dorm after this is over?.."

"I think so... It's going to a long night..." Kasai looked up at the sky. The snow was falling a bit heavier now. She held out her hand and caught a few flakes on her palm. The stood in beautiful contrast to the dark red blood dried onto her skin. She stared at the little picture for the few seconds it was there with curiosity. Then the snowflakes melted away.
