"Well, 'tickle assault' and hide-n-seek are his favorites. He used to really enjoy peek-a-boo when he was a baby but now he's too old for that, I think," Coen paused, looking thoughtful, then continued, "He likes to wrestle but that's only because it's just a half-step away from being 'tickle assault'. Oh, and he likes to play tag. Board games and video games he kind of shuns because they're not...active enough for him..." The big lion shrugged and flashed Jazz a quick smile. "So, do you have a crush on my little charge?" wink

"I can tell those two are his favorites," he said with a giggle, and listened to the rest of the games listed. "Well I'm glad I didn't offer to play a board game with him, then! We should take him outside to play tag. How fast is he?"
He burst into giggles at the lion's question, rolling over onto his back. "No! I just think he's adorable, I love kids," he said, still giggling.

"Oh, he's a quick one," Coen answered then rolled over onto his stomach. Grinning wickedly, he reached out and poked Jazz's side. "I dunno. Sounds like a crush to me. You keep saying how cute and adorable he is.."

"Hmm, he'd be good at tag, then," he stated with a sure nod. He tilted his head at the lion's wicked grin, wondering about his intentions.. then squealed and squirmed away, giggling as his sensitive side was prodded. "Hey! No tickling, we called a truce, remember?" He managed to stutter through his giggle fit. He'd only been poked once, and he couldn't stop giggling!

"That wasn't a tickle. It was poke. See, tickling and poking are different," Coen explained in a matter-of-fact voice--working to hold in a grin--while he poked Jazz again then tickled him to show the difference.

"I know the difference, but it still tickled!" He said, attempting a pout but failed miserably, as he couldn't stop giggling. He opened his mouth to say something, but squealed as he was poked and tickled, squirming a bit. He hopped up onto his feet and ran to the couch, jumping on it and curled up against the arm of it, hugging a pillow in front of him like a shield. "No more poking, prodding, or tickling!" He giggled, partially hiding his face behind the pillow as well.

Coen watched with amusement as Jass hopped to his feet and took refuge on the couch. "A pillow shield, hmm? Strong defense.." he commented airily, pushing himself up onto his hands and knees and crawling toward the couch. "But do you really think it'll do you any good against me?" wink

He giggled uncontrollably as he watched the lion crawl across the floor towards him, holding the pillow closer to him. But then he realized Coen was right, and a pillow wasn't a strong defense at all, especially against a lion. He peeked down at the pillow in front of him and squeaked, then looked at Coen. He dropped the pillow and crawled across the couch and tried to hop over the arm of it to run in the kitchen, hoping the lion wouldn't catch him before he could.

Coen knew Jazz would make a break for it and smirked when the mouse did exactly that. Without a second though, the lion pounced, catching the smaller hybrid around the middle. "Gotcha! There's no escaping now," he said in an exaggerated evil voice, hugging Jazz to his chest and poking the mousie's sides.

Jazzy squealed as the strong arms wrapped around his middle, trying to squirm his way out of the lion's grasp. "No fair!" He squealed, squirming more as his side were poked and prodded, unable to keep from giggling uncontrollably again. "No, no, that's not fair!" He gasped, his giggling breaking into laughter. "You called a truce!"

"Yes well, now I've decided to call off the truce," he snickered, sitting back on the couch with the poor little mouse on his lap, encircled by his big arms. "If you want, though, you can admit defeat and I'll stop tickling you..Honest."

He struggled in vain to get out of the grip of the lion, still having a laughing fit. "Never!" He managed to gasp, reaching behind him to tickle Coen's sides, as well as using his tail to assist him. He wasn't giving up without a fight.

Coen eeped but didn't let go, fighting to gain control of the situation. Using his tail to defend himself from the tickles, Coen focused on trying to grab Jazz's wrists again. "Oh, don't you underestimate me, mousie! You're not gonna get away!"

Jazz managed to shake his head a bit, still laughing, but not as hard. "You don't play fair!" He managed to gasp, squirming still but also still keeping his hands behind his back to tickle the lion, as well as using his tail as well. If Coen wanted to get at his wrists, he'd have to let go of his middle first, and if he did that, then the mouse would be able to make a run for it!

Seeing the rodent's plan, Coen growled playfully and decided to just hang on until Jazz got tired. Laughing hysterically, he wiggled and squirmed but he kept his arms tight around the mousie's middle. "I play fair! Of course...I'm playing by my own rules." >3
