"Everything looks absolutely splendid Miranda," Abaddon said looking over the food as he sat down onone side of the blanket and then laid down on his side propping himself up on one elbow and a knee bent into the air. So do tell why a beautiful lady like yourself isn't swept up by someone already..." he said hoping he wasn't being too forward and yet wanted to make sure that she was indeed not involved with anyone else to avoid conflict.

Miranda sat indian style on the other end of the blanket, taking the paper plates out and fixing one for Abbadon, smiling happily. She freezes when he asks her that question, but gives him a sad smile before looking down, "For a while...I did have a crush on someone...he actually inspired me to become a cook! But....it died...and I didn't feel the need to try to revive it. I thought it best if I just moved on and....hoped that I could find someone..." she says blushing, handing him his plate, but not looking at him, her heart beating fast in her chest again.

Abaddon looked up at her and smirk slightly at seeing her blush, "though it is sad to hear I find myself also glad to hear your words lady Miranda..." as he said that he reached out and took his plate from her making certain that his fingers brushes lightly against hers as he did so still looking over at her.

Miranda chances a glance at him and blushs at the intent look he seems to be giving her and she looks away again, but smiling and blushing all the same. She shivers when his fingers brush over hers, missing the contact already as she starts to fill her own plate with food.

Abaddon rested the plate down in front of him and then sat up and settled the two glasses firmly in the sand so they wouldn't tip over. Pooring them each a glass of the tea he then closed the container and settled back into the position he had been and picked up a half of his sandwhich and took a bite.

Miranda ate silently, sipping at her drink as she tried not to stare at Abbadon, even though her gaze seemed drawn to him at times. She couldn't understand why he was affecting her in such a way, but she had to admit she liked it alot and wanted to be around him as much as she could. She looked down to her plate when she felt she was gazing at him far too long, her blush seemingly permenant again.

Abaddon ate silently as well watching Miranda and smirk each time she gazed away. He found it cute how she seemed a bit nervous and how she blushed the way she did. Once he was finished eating what was on his plate he smiled up at her, "Everything was amazing Miranda thank you..." Now he merely looked forward to spending the rest of the time with her getting to know her better and getting closer to her as well.

Miranda smiled happily, glad to know he enjoyed her food. She had just opened up her container of cherries and had popped one into her mouth, chewing on it slowly, enjoying the flavor of the fruit. She holds it out to him, silently asking if he wanted one as well.

Abaddon smiled at her as she held out the cherry container to him, sitting up he took one out by the stem but instead of bringing it to his own lips he leaned towards her and dangled it over hers with a smirk on his face and a glint in his eyes.

Miranda swallowed her fruit and was about to grab another for herself when Abbadon dangled the cherry in front of her. Her blush comes back in full force as she shivers again. Licking her lips, she leans forward and takes the cherry into her mouth, popping the stem off as she pulls back.

Abaddon smirked as he watched her take the cherry from the stem, finding that urge to lean forward and kiss her there yet again. Though he chose not to act upon it, not at that moment at least. He then picked up another cherry and popped it from its stem chewing it slowly savoring its flavor.

Miranda chewed the cherry, but he face was still red and hot, a shy smile on her face. She wished her heart would just stop beating so quickly, maybe she wouldn't look so....foolish! She reachs for her drink, maybe it would help her cool down...and make her thoughts a little more innocent!

Abaddon's mind had seemed to wander again and without being able to help let off a small growl as he looked over at her, there was no doubt that he found her highly attractive and his mind was venturing to some very not so innocent things. He picked up another cherry then and once again dangled it in front of her lips with a devilish smirk and glint in his eyes.

She took a sip of her drink, setting her cup back down and is startled a little bit when he dangled another cherry in front of her again. She looks at him and her eyes go wide with the look he is giving her, her face seeming to go redder then before. She gulps, but leans forward to take the cherry into her mouth again.

Abaddon couldn't help but purr slightly but then picked up his own drink and diverted his gaze to gain proper self control once again. "So tell me what you like to do lady Miranda, I find myself very interested in learning more about you..." he said to her with a smirk lying back down again on his side.
