So this is my sad attempt at a kami deck...
Torment
4 Gifts Ungiven 4 Ensnaring Bridge 4 Mana Leak 4 Rewind 3 Uyo, Silent Prophet 3 Neverending Torment 3 Cranial Extraction 3 Sensei's Divining Top 3 Boomerang 2 Pithing Needle 2 Rend Flesh 1 Jushi Apprentice 1 Spellbook
9 Island 4 Swamp 4 City of Brass 4 Tendo Ice Bridge 2 Boseiju, Who Shelters All
Quite frankly, i dont even know if its sad. All i have that works for testing is magic suitcase and they dont have the SOK update...STILL. So people who know about kami decks, let me know whatcha think... sweatdrop

1313.EXE Kilz88 1313.EXE -wha's better final judgement or or akroma's vengeance.? When? In what format? -extended.Vengeance. It wipes out EVERYthing, instead of just creatures, and it cycles if you don't need it when it's drawn. INdestructible and Dragon Spirits and the like won't show up in ext. too much, either.

Mycosynth Lattice + March of the Machines = No lands. Then you use talismans, gilded lotus, darksteel ingot, sheild of kaldra, and emmisary of D. to beat them into submission. It works great against the metagame cause no one expects it.

I would go for a playset of Kokusho, Cranial Extraction, Tendo Ice Bridge, Forbidden Orchard, and Toshiro Umezawa. Gifts Ungiven if you don't already have them (luckily I do), because I think they're going to go up in price very fast.
Toshiro, whilst not at the forefront of everyone's mind, will become a big deck after the rotations (the loss of Stalking Stones kinda hurts, though). Night of Soul's Betrayal/Forbidden Orchard/Toshiro Umezawa/Instants in Graveyard = Deck. It's a really powerful monster, and very difficult to beat.
My thoughts on the Post-Mirrodin metagame will be:
-Kami-Toolbox -U/B Toshiro/Forbidden Orchard (the people in my area call it Mr.T, cuz Toshiro is a badass) -Mono-G Beats -Kiki-Jiki (either control, or if Intruder Alarm is re-printed, combo) -Mono-B Control -B/G Control -Mono-U control (but a very different version than what we're used to) -Mono-W control. -White Weenie
the first 4 seem to be really good contenders for top metagame slots after rotation, as does White Weenie (albiet, a lot weaker without Sword of Fire/Ice). We're just going to have to see what fun stuff comes out of Kamigawa. The best thing is that there is no 'Best Deck" in the field. Everything is even.

Great fun in casual, with or without March of the Machines.

What do you think about putting money into pithing needle? Is it worth it? Also, id like to see some of the decklists for the good kamigawa decks...
