''I watch both. I tend to stay awake at night, to catch the dawn, then sleep till early evening. I then watch the sunset.'' He thought about her words, liking then a lot. ''You have the makings of a writer. Those words...are the most lovely thing I've heard lately...Other than...'' He shut his mouth, annoyed with himself. ''Do you stay awake to see the sunset?'' the naga asked, still pressing his fingers together.

The feline's ears twitched lightly as if to try and catch the unspoke phrase. But hearing him change to another question, she merely smiled to him. "I had to learn to be good at other things since I am a terrible dancer." Ears flattening against her head, she looked rather meek. "I can only ever catch the sunsets. Never have seen the sun rise before. Any time I would wake up for it, I would be needed indoors where I couldn't see anything."
Her head tilted slightly. "Cassius, I was wondering: What kinds of books do you enjoy reading the most?"

''Interesting...'' He murmured, before looking up at her. ''You should try. it does wonders for the soul.'' He looked out of the doorway, wondering where everyone else was. The naga turned to look at her as she asked him a question. ''Books? Uh...Usually real life mysteries or Charles Dickens. But lately I have taken an interest in Gems. Crystals. Stones.'' Cassius heard another loud rumble of thunder, and took Sayeh's hand. ''Follow me. There's somewhere we won't be able to hear the storm.'' He pulled her out of the kitchen, along the wood floored hallway, and up some stairs. ''Through this door here.'' Slow, gentle harp music could be heard playing, and he looked up. ''That would be Tristessa, our resident ghost.'' A soft scent could be noticed, drifting out of the room. When they were in the room, he closed the door gently, and lay down on the sofa. He was right, all that could be heard was the harp, a few floors above. ''Do you like my boudoir?''

Sayeh beamed to him listening intently. Her hand raised up to a chain that dangled around her neck and took the pendant that swung from it into her hand, holding it out to show Cassius. It was a caged Amethyst gem. "Books on things like this?"
Before she could get her answer, her eyes widdened at the sound of the storm. As he took her, leading her away from it, a wave of relief swept over her soul. Her ears twitched at the harp that was being played. She then When Cassius laid himself onto the sofa, Sayeh moved right after him, kneeling infront of it and him, violet eyes intently staring at him. If no one knew any better of her, it would almost appear like a girl infatuated. Almost. But Sayeh was just curious to stare up into his eyes and face and figure out why he could capture her attention so easily. "It seems rather peaceful and serene. Its very nice, as you are, Cassius." Her smile reappeared. "Is this your favorite spot?"

‘'I always demand my places to be calm, and peaceful...How can I relax if they are not?'' His eyes narrowed sideways, watching her, before they stopped and looked back up to the ceiling, which was a dark black, with a giant silver crescent moon. Sighing, he listened as the music stopped, and changed to piano. ''She changes instruments a lot....'' The naga focused on the chain ad jewel around her neck for a moment, before leaning over and picking up a book. Flicking through it, he sighed and growled for a few moments, before stopping and holding a page up, which said all there was to know about the Amethyst gem. ‘‘Is this correct?''

Sayeh smiled and nodded to him. "Its my first piece of free jewelry. I'm not sure how much it really is worth but to me, its priceless." Her violet eyes stared a saddened look came into them as a thought crossed over her mind. "Do you spend most of your days alone in this room?" Her heart felt sad to think of him by himself most of the time. Her feline ears twitched at the new sound of the piano. "I guess change is always a welcome now and then."

‘’I see…’’ Noticing her change, he looked at her, concerned, although his face didn’t show it. ‘’Yes, I do. I stay here when I have nothing else to do. Why?’’ He stretched his arms slowly, before focusing on her again. ‘’I suppose…She plays all day…She barely leaves…Except to see another ghost.’’ Cassius stood up ad slid over to a chest, and opened a drawer, flicking through the contents. ‘’Hm…’’ He murmured before picking up an old, dusty book.

Sayeh bowed her head. "I was hoping, if you would permit me to, if I may visit you once in a while?" Her violet eyes glanced over at him. "I know you must not be concerned about being by yourself too much, as you are strong. I just would like to see you now and then if it is alright." She would never say that she was worried about him being lonely. But thats how she felt. When he rose, Sayeh moved out of his way and watched him curiously. "An old friend?" Her question directed at the book.

''I would be glad of company once in a while...One can be strong only in a crowd, but the weakest when alone.'' His crimson hues flickered from the books dusty cover, to the dark face and violet eyes of the feline with him. ''You could say that. A fried, but not an old one. I found it a few days after I first entered the shop.'' He traced the ornate drawings of the cover, and opened it carefully. ''It's very old. I found it hidden behind a pile of books on a shelf. Almost as if the person who it belonged to did not want it to be found again.'' The naga passed it carefully to Sayeh, so she could look at it. ''It has no words. Only carefully drawn pictures.''

"Thank you, Cassius." Sayeh seemed to beam with joy but kept herself restrained from a gleeful mew as she smiled brightly. The jewlery on her tail jingled once more with her swaying. Her eyes blinked. "I wonder who would leave it behind?" Her hands took the book carefully as her violet eyes glanced over the pictures. "These are very nicely done. Do you think the previous owner drew these themselves?" Her fingertip followed some of the lines of the pictures gently. "I could never draw so well. Could you?" Her eyes glanced over afew of the pages, turning them before looking back up at the long-haired naga.

''I don't know, they might have. Strange to leave it though.'' He shrugged, and sat on his sofa. ''I can not draw as well as that. I am a much better painter.'' He flicked his tail, looking at Sayeh. ''There seems to be no plot, or links between the pictures. Just different things. Like sunsets, sea shells, one of a large silver crucifix.'' The naga realised how thirsty he was, and stood up again to reach for a pitcher that stood on a table, with two glass goblets. ‘’Do you like wine? It’s all I have here. Or I can go back t the kitchen and get you something.’’ His crimson eyes fixed on her violet ones, and he waited for her answer.

Sayeh smiled to him. "Thank you, wine is more then enough for me. I guess this person just drew what they saw or how they felt when seeing something like this." The feline then rose as she skimmed the pages. "You paint? What kind of things do you enjoy painting? Things like these?" Her eyes peeked out over the top of the book at him.
What Sayeh didn't realize was that the tip of her tail was starting to poof out from the water that had been trapt under the fur. When it flicked this way, it was getting more and more poofy. Her hand closed the book and she held to it as unsure of where to set it down and not wishing to mess up Cassius' space.

He poured out two glasses of red wine, and handed her one. ''I hope you enjoy. If you do not, simply tell me, and I will get you something else.'' The naga glanced at her, and took hold of the book. ''Thank~you. Maybe you're right.'' He took a strand of his hair and pulled it, wondering what to say. ''Is the wine to you liking?'' He asked, before noticing her tail. He decided to keep quiet.

Sayeh smiled when he took the book back from her and her hand returned to her with a glass of wine. She sipped it quietly and smiled to him warmly. "I have aquired taste for most alcoholic drinks, so this is fine for me. I rather enjoy the taste. Would this be your favorite drink?"
The feline then found herself staring at his eyes again and tore her gaze away to stare at the floor. She then glanced around the room, as if searching for something. She wanted to see if possibly one of his paintings were hanging here.

''Yes. I like wine, and this is my favourite. I always keep a bottle up here.'' The naga watched her, his eyes slowly moving as she looked around. ''None of my paintings are here. They are not in this house. A few lie scattered in the woods, but most of mine are burned. I burn them after they are dry.'' Cassius kept his gaze fixed on the dark wooden floor; sure she would mock him for being so...different.
