Daisuke walked backwards into the maglift with his weapon still facing the hallway. "You and me both." He waited for the doors to close before he would release his weapon.

*He tries to use a vocal command to go down three levels, but the computer doesn't respond. He pulls out his handheld and begins to input the commands to close the door and go down three levels.*
"This is really annoying... I am either firing or beating my engineers for telling me we had very powerful failsafes in place.... This is one big failure... atleast our weaponry still kicks a**... heh."
*The lights dim out as the maglift quickly drops three floors. The gravity dampeners are on the fritz so they quickly are lifted off their feet and flung into the maglift ceiling. THUD!*

As Daisuke hit the ceiling of the maglift his body gave off a thud and he let out a small wince. "Crap.." He began to think of how hard they would hit floor when the maglift stopped, although for some reason it caused him to smirk and let go of the 125-A he was holding.

*After hitting the floor hard he lifts his head up and starts to stand. He lets out a grunt.*
"Open maglift doors now."
*He hits himself on the head and pulls out his handheld.*
"Prepare your arms."
*He sends the open command to the maglift.*

Daisuke hit the ground just as hard as Pride, and just as Pride did he stood back up. Once he was standing he knelt down to get the 125-A. "Alright." Daisuke aimed the weapon at the door of the maglift.

*The door slowly begins to open up. It then jams half open and the lights in the hallway are flickering in a strobe effect making vision minimal.*
"Please, dear God, tell me we don't have to go bakc up then go through the stairwell."
*He surveys the area and damage and tries to focus with the flashes to see outside the maglift.*
"Good... It looks clear and we can make our way out. Guests first."
*He backs up and smirks and sort of curtsies as he points the way out of the maglift.*

Daisuke gave him an unpleased glance then turned back towards the door. "Sir, yes sir." Daisuke then walked out of the door with the 125-A still trained infront of him. "Its moments like this I wish my parents had me go through genetic engineering." He then let out a small sigh.

*He smiles and steps out behind Maverick.*
"Heh.... I told you not to be so formal. And, if you want to be an engineer, even part time, I can arrange it. Maybe you can fix some of the crap those other idiots made in the failsafes, heh."
*He walks down through the rubble near the doorway then he walks to the left a few steps.*
"Duh! I forgot I had these."
*He flips down his frequency goggles and switches visions for the best view of the hallway, since the lights are constantly blinking.*
"It looks clear no hardlight nearby. If I had another pair for you then we could blow the lights. Well... let's just keep going."
*He pulls up his rifle and he begins to walk down the hallway.*

Daisuke nodded. "Thank you but no thank you. I'm more of the type that breaks stuff instead of fixing it, which is why I was suprised when they gave me my own ship." He watched Pride pull out the goggles. "Nah, its more interesting this way." He continued to walk down the hallway.

"I agree but i think we are in dire straits are in no need of challenges when there is more on the line than just our lives... heh... how ironic does that sound?.. heh."
*He continues his stride down the hallway.*

Daisuke smirked. "Far more ironci than it should be." He continued down the hallway following the brief glimpses of Pride and the sound of his footsteps.

*He walks around the next corner and then begins to move into a sprint.*
"The lights are out in the next section of this level you won't be able to see I'll try to move ahead to scout and let you know when to come. Just keep an eye out."
*He disappears into the darkness, as if the shadows envolped and consumed him.*

"Hmm...now the funny really begins." Daisuke slowly submerged into the darkness of the hall. "Well can I atleast now how much further we have to go?"

"We're here... heh. Just go in that door over there."
*He points to the doorway next to him.*
"Heh... just be careful."
*No sooner than he says that word the body of PFC Einzel flings into the nearby wall. He pulls up his rifle and backs toward Daisuke.*

Daisuke spun around when he heard the impact of the body hitting the wall. "What the...." He quickly turned in the direction it was thrown from and aimed his weapon in the same direction.
