Nephelem I like Kikyo, but I really don't care about Kagome. The only thing I dislike about her is how she treats Inuyasha. I don't like Kagome either but if she says she "loves" inuyasha shouldn't she treat him better?

I don't really like Kagome. A bit too annoying....too preppy....but there are some good sides of her, but I just can't think of any. stare

Kagome's bubbly persona is a bit annoying at times, and her aim sucks, but she's fun to poke fun at. I don't hate her or anything. She's the female lead, so I have to deal with her. It is fun to watch her and Inu's reactions with each other. So I don't mind Kagome too much. biggrin

I was horribly abusive to my boyfriend (Joking.. not HORRIBLY abusive, but hell I'm still a violent person xp ) Anyawys, different people express affection in different ways. Besides, it's not like she beat him at random intervals. Usually it's when he's annoying her, because no matter how much you love someone, you're bound to get annoyed at some point.

But it interests me as I've never heard it before - usually people complain that Kagome isn't enough like Kikyou. I mean, really, it's everyone else who keeps expecting her to be like Kikyou, and that's why she makes such an effort to prove to everyone that she's not Kikyou, and that she has her own heart, right? Please give me an example of Kagome trying to be like Kikyou (other than the fact that she learns archery and uses miko powers, obviously, since she has to do that to survive).

Kagome has the same personality as almost any other female main character in an anime or manga: Sakura, Serena, Ichigo, Tohru Honda, Ranma 1/2(< xd
