She notes the coat and before taking it, takes a step back from the devil. Holding her arms out, in a relaxed almost welcoming gesture, the woman was instantly engulfed in golden flames, the tatters of her dress incinerated. After a 15 second count, the flames dissapated and she held a hand out for the coat with a grin, her flawless figure somewhat aglow.
She would take the coat from him with a thank you. Slipping her arms into the sleeves, she then wraps the fold of fabric about her waist and cinches it tight with a belt, looperd about her midriff. It made her look very femme fatale as she stood before him, her feral gaze flicking to him before checking herself out.

Kain whistled a "wow" and nodded his approve for the Fatale look.
He took his right index finger and poked a hole into the air, ripping in down the length of his body, it was their portal.
"Well, this is our exit, back to the Tavern."
He turned to enter the gate but held in midstep---
He rotated on the heal and went over to his desk, grabbed the scotch and then as he passed Ra'Kar-
"Wouldn't want to forget the Scotch"
At that, while waving the large bottle over his shoulder he entered and was absorbed by the overwhelming black within that small 'O'. Out of it blew a brisk wind, it would make the woman's hair dance and flow in its waves...it was up to her to trust the Devil's lead or not...

"Of course not."
She grins and follows behind him stepping through the gateway one long leg at a time. Her entire body buzzed with the sensation of her physical self being manipulated to make the journey through the portal. She was used to such trips, but the 'buzz' that filled her head and the sensation that claimed her was different with Kain, noting a different method or technique.

"Whoops." he said in a comical playful way.
He had forgotten to grab hold of Ra'Kar, so, as her last foot came through the portal, Kain rushed back and slowly wrapped his arm around her waist. If he'd get a punch in the face, well, she'd probably yell at him more once he explained but he'd try to get it out there first.
"Nearly lost you, heh heh." - Hopefully she didn't know that he wouldn't've been able to find her if she had entered the pitch blackness of the Unreal world.
Her ... 'flotated' her to a portal he had seen just above them, it seemed to be the correct place and time. Though, he didn't want to bother looking for a place outside, inside the tavern would be just fine.
Kain was first through and decided to take the situation up. He moved towards the closest chair at their former table and pulled it out.
"Chair, madame?"

Ra'kar just took things in stride. As the devil's arm snaked around her waist, she mirrored his action and held herself close against him. The woman smelt of fire and exotic spices, her body was warmer than a normal being's, almost hot to the touch, but the heat never seemed painful, more inviting than anything.
As they emerged, she stumbled slightly, catching a hold of his sleeve to steady herself as the room spins for a brief moment. The motion sickness passes quickly and she she lets go of him. As he pulls out the chair, she smiles and sashays across the room, sitting down with a boneless grace, her composure regained.
" Thank you. "

They'd be gone for ten minutes, according to Real time.
Kain set the bottle to the table and seated himself, perhaps not so gracifully as his accompanent. Whatever, he wasn't set to impress there was a slight itch around the area of his bite. He tried hard to get rid of the venom but some still lingered, it was exhausting and began to weaken his legs.
He was done with civilty, twisting the bottle and giving it a hard long chug, emptying half of its contents. He slammed the bottle onto the table and wiped his moistened lips with his hand.
"Well, I'm about to settle in---oh yes....horses...maybe we should inspect the leftovers..."

The demoness nodded in agreement, but first noted his arm.
"Would you like that taken care of?"
She rises to her feet walks over to his side lifting the wounded limb closer for inspection. She begins rolling the sleeve up, if he didn't pull away, she'd be able to see the outline of the bite faintly, but the skin would be puffy and swollen, the flesh rashy.

He took his arm back, the Pride in him wouldn't allow him to show his infermeries to a woman, powerful as she may be...it was one of those things from his past. He stood and looked at Ra'kars eyes.
He rolled up his sleeve, but only to below elbow height. He did the same with the arm. Stylish. Specks of dazzling stars edged his vision, he would shake it off. He turned and, head sunk in thought and hands in pockets, left for outside. Fresh air would do him some good....maybe a smoke too....

She simply releases his arm and shrugs. Turning toward the door she picks up the scotch bottle, takes a swig and then slams it down. Wiping the back of her hand across his mouth, she would walk out ahead of him, tossing a simple
"Suite yourself."
Over her shoulder. She would walk out ahead of him, and head outside. Her sword in hand, she walks through the dining room toward the entrance/exit.
She ignores the startled glances from the inn keeper and his family as they're shocked to see her inside and not outside. At the sound of the hellish cries and Ra'kar and Kain's screams, they had bolted the door. With a grumble she strikes the wooden bolt in two, and walks out to the stable, one hand on her hip and a look of disatisfaction on her face.

He heard the loud crashing of the bolt being smashed to bits, he didn't see it, was too busy rummaging for his cigarettes and thinking about the severity of that venom, nothing he couldn't handle curely but...
A light sweat broke across his brow and a headache set in. He noted Ra'Kar's expression and then surveyed the area himself.
"Hunh..." Cigarette now lit with a simple blow from his lips, Kain made his way to one of the downed creatures, namely the one with his odachi still firmly embedded into its skull.
"You ever seen these things before?...I can't say I have..." To himself he added,
"...oddly.."

The woman held up her hand and a ball of golden flame the size of a large melon, flickered into existance, illuminating the inside of the rickety old building. With a frown she steps inside and curses.
"Bloody hell..."
The hosrses throats had been torn, their bellies slashed open. Blood and thicker things coated the straw bedding in a slick coat of gore. She walks over to the tack and inspects it.
"This will have to be cleaned if we want to rescue it at all.."
At his question she turns around and furrows her brow as she thinks.
"Only once, and nothing like this..."

Kain leered at the damndable thing, took in a long drag from his cigarette and peered through the grey haze. He inspected in a while longer before exhaling and kneeling down to face it.
He leaned in and dabbed an index finger to the small stream of blood and put it to his tongue. The stuff was vile and much more tainted than he had anticipated. Kain grabbed hold of Tempest's grip and tore the blade free. Small bits of brain matter, blood, and skull sprayed away as he pulled away.
Kain stabbed the ground to place his weapon, to big to be sheathed, still. He knelt again, wiped his brow to clean it from sweat. He felt cold, it must've been from the magic inhibitors that the venom housed. The beasts DNA told him as much, but, through the nonsensical garble of a raving mind Kain couldn't make an exact transcription of the entire creature breakdown. His Bestiary as it were.
"I'm sorry? Didn't catch that." he called back to Ra'Kar about the horses and tack.
The coldness came from nullifying Kain's firey being. Rest was sounding pleasent.

Ra'kar turns around to face him and raises an eyebrow. Kain's heat readings were dropping rapidly...
"You look like s**t... sure you don't want me to look at that bite?"

It began, like drunkeness from vodka...perhaps the Scotch didn't help.
Kain stumbled to his feet, clasped at the shoulder that was still healing from the horrific chunk that had been consumed. His breathing became quickened.
Stars shone and dizzyness came in like a surprise attack on his senses. Taste, Smell, Touch, Sight, and Hearing became muddled, flowing into each other and beginning to be delayed. He took hold of his blade for support, his mind whirling, sweat dampening his shirt and pants. A blackness was creeping up on him and he knew soon that it would take him.
"...Damnit."
Straight as a board, he fell onto his back unconcious.

Ra'kar saw it coming and instead of falling into a puddle of congealing gore, the devil fell into delicate yet strong, secure arms. The demoness looks down at her fallen companion and sighs. ******** it... you're better at this s**t than I am."
And without any further warning, Ra'kar initiated the switch.
Sierra came back into herself in a dark room... outside... that reeked of blood and death, with something heavy in her arms.
She creates a small mage light above her head, the golden ball of flame illuminating the fallen devil's form. A startled squeak escapes her throat as her mind races, jumping to conclusions instantly in her startled state.
"Oh gods, she's killed him! " gonk
She fumbles Kain's body, trying to steady him, but her foot slips on the squishy intestines of her former mount. Her legs go out from under her, and unable to regain her balance while maintaining her akward grip on the stiff, she winds up on her back with a startled scream, Kain's dead weight pinning her.
Blushing and wide eyed, she settles her mind down enough to note that shallow breaths tickled her skin. The breath was chill however, not warm as it should be.
Heaving the man's body off of her as carefully as possible she presses a hand to his forehead. He was ice cold, a fatal sign for a fire elemental who's core temperature is generally higher than your average joe's. His skin was cold with sweat...
"s**t!"
She eases him into her arms, and lifting through the legs, hoists him over her shoulder in a fireman's carry. She heads toward the inn, and nearly trips over the corpse of one of the demon's.
Her eyes grow wide with panic. Had he been bitten? With renewed urgency she tears into the inn and rushes him upstairs to what she guessed was one of their rooms, as she shouts for a basin of hot water and towels.
Ignoring the fact that she was slicked up with the wet of crimson and entrails.
