MyOwnBestCritic How much does it cost now, after the holidays? I was going to wait until the price dropped really low ('cause I'm a cheapass), but I really want it now. ninja Still the same price as it was when it came out. ninja

To those in this thread who love him, I apologize. But...I really can't stand Balthier. He's just a pretty boy who gets everything his way. I personally really like Basch. I don't really know why, but I think he's cool. He's sort of my tank character in most cases, so that could be why.
Love to hate character? The Seymour type in this game...I hate him. You all know who he is. And for those of you who don't know, you'll find out soon enough. Bad things happen in this game, and the events all unfold relatively quickly once the game gets going.
My least favorite party member is probably Penelo, but that's mainly because you get her so late. It made it difficult to even out my party's levels, and then I finally gave up. DON'T TRAIN ONLY THE THREE THAT YOU USE! Bad things will happen when you get further in. The Stil-Shrine of Miriam... *shudders* I have horror stories of that place now...
I heart the License Board and Battle System! It's a lot of fun! But yeah...I don't have much else to say on that.
EDIT: I just noticed NotteRequiem's comment about Basch, and that's probably why I like him a lot. Could be...I Don't really know.

Having beaten the game and played it most of the way through again, I have to agree with the Basch lovers. There's something he says in Archades that pretty much sealed it for me. Basch is awesome. ^^ My sister hates Penelo, so she and one of my best friends finally have something to disagree about. The pained look on my sister's face when my friend talks about how cute Vaan and Penelo are together is priceless. Another reason I love this game. ^^

I made it when Tifa became leader for a small while, and because I hated her and refused to play her, she was on a low level in the party at the time I couldn't take her out, and consistantly got herself killed by the enemies we fought. Thank God Cid took her place later.

if i had to make one complaint about this game i would have to single out the gil system i mean you dont get nearly enough gil from the loot and the stuff in this game is freaking expensive xp

Oh no, the Stil-Shrine was an awesome dungeon set up magnificently well. I didn't mean to make it sound like otherwise. It was just...the Dragon Aveis were absolute MURDER. I hated fighting them. But it's okay...I have the guide now! ^_____^ And with it, I'll never have to worry about surprises like that again.
I wasn't ever able to play enough of Final Fantasy VII to get into it. I just had a hard time with the gameplay, and a lot of the story. I don't know what it was about it all, but I just couldn't get into it. So...I can't really say much on that subject.

Sou Jara if i had to make one complaint about this game i would have to single out the gil system i mean you dont get nearly enough gil from the loot and the stuff in this game is freaking expensive xp xD It's a challenge, but I think it was smart of them. That way, you don't go through the game at too fast a pace. Relish its glory! Caeluma: I absolutely adore Fran's voice. It's so eloquent..elegent..and exquisite. 3nodding MakerOfTomorrow: I'll admit, those things about kicked my a**, and it certainly didn't help that one of those big stone heads joined in on the brawl. However, I saw them when I stepped into the room, and stayed back far enough to keep from getting slaughtered, so I could prep myself. I give thanks to the summons I had at the time. sweatdrop They really helped a lot with that fight.
