no i do watch the show my problem is i dont cry in movies tv shows i thought the whole episode was very sweet and nicly done but i have a freakish brain block i dont get so into shows i think of the characters as real people...and i see actors i watched that and i saw jdm not denny wen i watch anything i do that..so everyone hates me because i dont cry or get rediculasly into the shows. You cant be cold hearted about somthing that didnt happen to someone who doesnt really exist.
By the age of 6 i had lost everything that mattered to me
i cry and i feel pain when it matters i dont when it dosent

that's funny, i'm kinda the opposite. sorta. you can't get me to cry in real life for anything - but show me tv drama and i'm bawling like a sonofabish. lol.

i think if i cried in fantasy id wouldnt be able ot cry in reality...unless osmthing wa sin my eye. i just have put to much emotional stock in real life that i just dont have anything left for fiction. Its still an escape for me i mean i rewatched naked the other day and tought "David you silly silly man....what the hell" and that made me forget about reality for a minute...

So... you never get so caught up in a character...? Like you relate to them.. and feel what they feel? I used to be very detached when watching movies and stuff.. but now... I donno.. I think I can relate a bit more and thus.. show emotion when I'm watching a fiction.

Well my family simply refer to me as strength...like thats my name
"Hey strength hows school"
"Anyone talk ot stength latly"
"Strength told me this great joke"
"Congrats Strength"
"Strength got a new job"
Strength this Strength that...
I just went thru a lot and well i have never gotten into movies i think im the only person to not cry in bambie...i used to get into books but they had to have ahigh fantasy content...like storys abot a gieving widow never got to me but whoa man you should have seen me after reading HP OOTP. i just dont have the emotions to invest in stories... ive used all of mine up i supose. ill give you though im not sure about books anymore i havnt been able to read since we lost Guma

Ah... I'm kinda the reverse... I was brought up in a family that didn't express their emotions.... So I never used to cry with movies, etc.... (and I've never seen bambie)

... But eventually, all the s**t in my life got so extreme, that I let go... So now I cry at the drop of a hat, but I can express myself. Sort of... A little.

Yeah, see, THAT sounds like a mental issue.... eek
*gives u chocolate*

lol. For the first year or two of uni, I self-medicated... Controlled my depression with sugar... Then, mid-way through 2nd year, I kinda snapped? I woke up one day so sick I couldn't get out of bed... Went to the doctor, who gave me anti-depressants for anxiety, and, yeah, never gone back!

Nah... stupid depressed world! Everyone's depressed to some degree.. and it's starting to happen to people who are younger and younger every day..
PostPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 2:04 am

Clinically depressed and sad/angsting are too different things.

It's so different to be on track towards suicidal thoughts and simply being upset at any given point in your life.

Yeah, there are different but she's kinda older so she doesn't know the difference.

I think our world is way too cynical, and if you'll pardon my religion, ungodly, so it's getting to people at younger and younger ages.

That or the end of the world is coming. biggrin heart
