Some little kid wandered onto the pad while I was playing doubles freestyle. I avoided him ever-so-gracefully. Also, his mom yelled at him and that made me feel better.

my shoes. I know this'll sound like I'm complaining, my shoes are too big and end up messing up almost all my freezes (isn't that what the ones you hold down are called) on the arcades because I'll put my weight on my heels which isn't on the button. I have to tip toe all the songs

What's REALLY fun is if you play in your socks on an arcade-style pad. I had to once, because my friend was wearing flipflops and wanted to play, so I gave him my shoes. It was so fun! You end up clinging to the bar sometimes to.... Remind me NEVER to play Daikengai on heavy in my socks again.

My heels hurt ridiculously bad, and I kept stepping on the screws.

Oh, my toes hurt just thinking about it, then again I do have really thins shoes, and I basically paly on my heels (and lift my feet like a helf inch off the ground when bar raping)

True, it can hurt, but if you're really super careful (or just as lucky), you can pull it off.
Actually, metioning bar raping... kinda off topic, but anyway... why is it that people make stupid comments if you're using the bar? Like that you don't know how to play, etc? I really hate that...... ok I'm done for now.

I've played DDR in arcades, and I hate it. Its all right when you're there on a slow day, and only with people who love DDR, and aren't show offs.. but that rarely happens. So I play at home. Lots. heart
The most annoying thing that's happened to me there is...
My mom runs a daycare out of our home. [ crying evil crying evil crying evil crying ] And we used to babysit this 12 year old girl, Mikel. She'd brag, saying she was so amazing at DDR, and could play all these standard songs. Which, I guess is a big deal? I dunno. So I'd make her play some really hard or really fast song... and she'd lose. Horribly. Then she'd go cry to her mom and I'd get in trouble!!! gonk

[/jk] That is why I tell them to prove that they can beat me at certain songs to prove I can kill them even without the bar, so I choose something easy, like Orion.78 (Amuro mix) ((one of my faves)) and totally a** rape them at it, even though I can pretty much B that song without the bar, A if I'm lucky.

It's funny because all the "omg godly" players around here use the bar AT ALL TIMES. All the "mega hardcore amazing" players used the bar literally through every song they played. I remember them barraping through murmur twins and B4U.

Doing that sort of thing to an arrogant douche is one thing, but to an arrogant little girl? Her age alone is a perfect indicator of the fact that she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about. She was pretty much making fun of herself by bragging like that. Pretty unnecessary. Unless her Standard abilities were hurting your ego or something.
