Kibo: Gwen, why don't you take a rest? I think a wind'll be coming any minute.
All of the sudden, the cannonfire stops. A few moments later, several spirits climb onto the ship, carrying several sacks of cannon fuse.
Kibo: Perfect. Don't worry. We'll be able to get out without too many problems now.

Nini's heart pounded as she steered the ship. Oh please don't let me crash, oh please please... She jumped as a cannonball hit the ship, and she almost jerked the wheel around, but refrained at the very last second. Breathing a sigh of relief, she glanced around and spotted Gwendolyn, who was watching her.

Kibo grins as he walks up to Nini, and places his hand on her shoulder.
Kibo: Great steering. We're out of range of their cannons now, so you don't need to be so jumpy anymore.

"Yea.. You are doing great!" Bigfoot yells, "Just try and keep it that way well I climb back onto the ship." *Bigfoot jumps from where he was in the water and climbs back onto the ship using the holes as handholds*

Nini sighed and relaxed at the wheel, though she still wondered why Gwendolyn had looked at her so funny. She held the ship steady while Bigfoot climbed back aboard and Kibo sent some spirits to fix the holes in the ship.
"Who was that? What did they have against us?" Nini was quite confused, not knowing the waters and the many friends and foes within them.

Kibo: Well, I think the fact that I singlehandedly just looted their ship while they all just stood there, unbound, might have had something to do with their ill will. That, and the fact that's an East India Trading Company Ship, captained by none other than Cutler Beckett.

Nini smiled at Bigfoot when he thanked her. She was feeling more comfortable with the wheel now, and was quite happy to stay where she was.
"Oh," she listened intently to Kibo and Bigfoot's explinations. "Yes, that would make sense. I don't know who Cutler Beckett is, but judging by the way you just said that, I don't think I want to." She grinned nervously.
