'But I do not know what I am good at. I do like dancing. All I know is what learn from trying to be Geisha.' she looked up at him and smiled.
'And now I know kissing,' she giggled.
'But I dont think I want go kiss everyone. That not something I want to do.'
She looked confused at his latter comments.
'Why I fight guys? I not know what you mean. Is that part of sex?' she asked, her face all innocence.

"Hehe, no you shouldn't go around kissing everyone," he smirked. "Save your kisses now, for someone special."

Hmm, maybe she could teach the other Islanders to dance. Although, after getting permanent diving flippers, she may need to re-teach herself how to dance first. Her next question made his face drop.

She doesn't know about...oh dear lord...

If he was drinking at the moment, he would have choked on it in shock.

"You...you don't know...how it works?" he asked sheepishly.

'So I cannot kiss Oz anymore? I like kissing Oz,' her face drooped a little. It was true, she was about as comfortable as she'd ever been with a man. He was like some large, comfy cuddly toy.
'...my friend Mary-keh told me it was like this,' she held her hands up, making a circle with the two fingers of one hand and moved the index finger of the other through the circle.
'But I not know if I am meant to be the circle or the poking one.'
She looked at her fingers confused.
'But men have poking thing dont they? I saw..book,' she blushed brilliantly, her newly scaled ears taking on the same hue as her cheeks.

Oz was still kind of in shock. It wasn't unheard of for people to be virgins right into their Thirties. But even taking Sayuri's culture into consideration, it felt so strange to be explaining the mechanics of sex to a fellow adult.

"Well, umm...your friend is right. That is basically how it works, but with other part of the anatomy instead," he spoke reluctantly, a blush starting to form on his cheeks too.

He wasn't a stranger to the act of love-making, but it was a case of 'do now, think later' with Oz, so actually trying to describe it was quite embarrassing really.

"And yes, men have the...poking thing...and you have the...circle," he said, now trying to stifle nervous laughs. "Its something you really can't be taught, you just have to wait for it to happen."

Uh oh. What had he just said!?

'Oh. Oh!' she dropped her hands.
'I did think it funny that it was circle and poke.' she giggled nervously, then listened as Oz explained further.
'So Oz-san can not teach me that like he teach me kissing?' Sayuri asked, little frown wrinkles on her head.
'I wanted to know what it is like. I am told it is nice. Is it nicer then kissing?'

Oz began to wonder what this friend of hers had been telling Sayuri, and why she'd failed to mention the main thing about how love-making is done. Poor Sayuri, she must have led a very sheltered life indeed. He even wondered if she would even recognise her 'circle.'

"Urm, no, I don't think I can teach you that," the words fought their way past his awkward smile.

Hehe...well...I could, but that wouldn't be very honest of me...

"But it is nicer than kissing. Its...very pleasurable," he said, having to think long and hard about his word choice.

'Oh..' she said, pulling the duvet around her. It was a strange thing to feel miffed that Oz wouldnt do that for her. Had she more experience with men, she would have been happy that he wasnt the sort to take advantage of her inexperience.
Maybe it was for the best. After all, she did not know that even though Sabin had obviously found her wanting, that he might still expect her to be just for him. If she wasnt, and he did want that from her... she let out a sigh.
'What time is it?' she asked. It felt like the day had been long, but she wasnt even sure when it was.

He should have been relieved that she didn't press him further, since he wasn't about to take advantage of Sayuri. And the thought of of trying to maneauvre his 'poke-thing' into her now scaled 'circle' made him feel like he was breaking the laws of nature.

But he almost felt rejected. No matter, this would be far from his mind later when his new situation would hit him hard. Very hard.

"Y'know, I haven't a clue," he searched his room for any signs of a clock. "I'd guess it was anytime after midday."

Sayuri stretched, moving the duvet off herself a little as she was getting warm, evidenced by the way her gills were moving faster. Moving her legs and tail, she knelt, her tail and bottom resting on her flippers and she faced him.
'Oz-san, sankyu for being so kind to me today. I know that knowing about Island is hard. And I have never seen a person change before my eyes as well! I am happy to have you as friend.'
She bowed before him, her hair falling in a curtain around her face.

Shifting the duvet also shifted Oz's grasp of reality. Whilst still gnawing at the back of his mind, he had almost forgotten Sayuri's change since it was practically out of sight. He flinched ever so slightly as she shuffled around, but she'd never know - he smiled for her as she faced him.

"Its no problem Sayuri," he replied, bowing his head politely. "And don't worry about me. I'll figure something out...would you like some help back to your duplex?"

She looked pretty with her hair down.

She flinched. He wanted her to leave? She must look really bad. He was just being kind to her, and was obviously only a friend. Besides, if she was even brave enough to propose something, it would only be because she was out of sorts and upset from the transformation.
'If Oz-san wish to be alone, then I will go.' she got to her feet, pinwheeling a little before managing to find a little balance. Sayuri held her hands out, lifting one foot carefully, then the other. She managed the steps to where she had folded her kimono then wobbled and fell over.
'..oww,' she rubbed her scaled knees, trying not cry. It seemed like she would be falling down more then when she had first worn okobo.

"Oh...oh! I thought you wanted to leave...when you took the duvet off..." he smiled awkwardly.

Well done Oz! Upset your only friend.

He watched her carefully as she attempted to stand up and balance, practically flinching himself at her every movement, her every wobble. He wanted to be there to catch her.

When she fell over, he immediately shuffled himself over on all fours and kneeled beside her.

'I was warm,' she said, her tail flicking and then falling still. She blushed as kneeled beside her and reached out, placing a finger on his squashed nose.
'Oz-san look funny on knees.' she let out a giggle. She didnt want to leave because apart from when she changed, this had been her happiest day since arriving on the Island.
'I will only stay if you want. I will go if you want. Sayuri want Oz to be happy.'

Oz looked down at his splayed hands, and then looked over his shoulder at his oversized rear-end. He looked like a bald old english sheepdog - big and fat, but nowhere near as cute. He laughed.

Gak! He shouldn't compare himself to animals...he didn't know which animal was his fate yet.

"...it seems to me, that you're still unsteady on your new feet...so I think...you should stay here. We can't have anyone kidnapping you can we? And what kind of friend would I be to let that happen?" he said with a growing smile, trying to make-up more 'excuses' for her to stay here.

He gently leaned in to her shoulder, almost as if he were a dog looking for a cuddle.

Sayuri knew that Oz could easily carry her to her own Duplex if he wanted to get rid of her, so the fact that he didnt spoke volumes as far as she was concerned.
When he leaned in she felt a little fluttery feeling and she kissed him, pulling away a moment later and covering her mouth as she yawned, the action accompanied by a tiny squeaking noise.
