It starts with you noticing a prickling in along your back and through your bare wings. Even as you watch, you see the feathers begin to grow along them. The feathers at the end of your tail and the ones that run along your ears growing longer as well.
Your mouth and lips ache even as your beek grows longer and larger, more pronounced from your skull. This is matched by your talons growing longer and sharper looking, distinctly curved now.
You feel a sensation on your feet, as when you look on the bottom you can see the skin growing darker and thicker, into pads. Your legs tingle, as fur begins to sproud along them, a thin layer of yellow covering your legs and up to your rear.
The changes finish, as your left a strange hybrid between eagle, lion, and human.
