Orpheus didn't seem to even notice as Liam tried to take a seat next to him and then, seeming to rethink his decision, sat down next to his polar opposite - the overly hyper Pink Freak, who was currently shooting Liam a particularly coy and seductive smile. As always, Orpheus lacked reaction.

He turned as the new kid adressed him and a soft frown crossed his lips - probably as much of a reaction as anyone would ever get from him. "Nothing," he stated blandly, his voice slow. "He's just a crazy old man who sent me here for his own dillusional reasons...." From anyone else, these words might have sounded problematic - or, at the very least, emotional - but Orpheus' voice was so slow and calm and bland, so entirely lacking in anger or bitterness, that they sounded merely like words. That voice could put anyone to sleep.

**

Aiden raised his hand, beaming. "Well, since no one seems to be biting, I'd might as well go next," he said, smiling around the room. He seemed to be the only bright (meaning brilliantly blinding) spot in a room full of dark and depressed people.

"Right, well, my name is Aiden. I'm seventeen. I'm here because I had a choice of this or juvy or whatever they use now." He paused then and shot a smile around the room, leaning forward to prop his chin up on his palms. "My family is pretty poor. I have four brothers, five sisters, my parents, three grandparents, two neices and four nephews. My mom has cancer and one of my little sisters ran away from home to live with her boyfriend. My father runs the risk of heart failure from overwork and all three of my grandparents could kick the bucket any day now." He spoke lightly, his tone completely free of any bitterness or ill feelings. But his eyes weren't the bright, twinkling blue that they usually were. THey seemed to have... closed slightly.

"We run a family hair sallon and stuff like that. But it wasn't really enough money to support all of us. I've always been kinda... uncontrollable. And it all started small - just maybe once a week or something - but I ended up selling myself out as a whore almost every night in order for us to be able to get enough money to gether to pay hospital bills and everything else."

((Hey guys! Sorry for being gone so long...and welcome Cemaldaanish! Anyway, I've been busy with Kairos and NaNoWriMo...ugh.... Right, question. Would it disrupt things too much if Seamus missed the meeting? Because as it stands, it's only half an hour after he conked out, so realistically he'd still be out for another hour or two. But for the sake of the story should I just zap him back awake, or have him already be at the meeting?))

Tristan almost seemed surprised to hear that Orpheus didn't do anything to harm his father. The boy just seemed like the type to snap and do something.... but then again, Tristan wasn't labeled as the 'overreactive' and he had even snappped. Slightly dissapointed Tristan leaned back in his chair more and remained silent. He stared at the table with a frown on his face, his mind touching upon his darker past events. He stayed in this world of his own untill his hearing caught a hold of Aiden's words and his eyes widened and looked to Aiden in disbelief.

"Are you serious?" He asked out loud, giving the bright haired boy a questioning look before he realized his mistake. He then quickly looked away from the boy who had been nothing but nice to him and his expression returned to being solemn. "Sorry..." He mummbled, feeling not only like the loud mouth in the room, but the a*****e as well. "I just... well... I dunno. I have nothing against that sort of thing .... I just didn't expect that to bring a person here." He said to be as tactful as he could, trying to remember his manners.

Justin, the same boy who had bumped into Tristan earlier, seemed to catch on a bit slower as to what Aiden meant.... and after a moment of silence, a look of disgust masked his entire face. "...So let me get this straight? Your a f**?" He sneered before cringing. "Nevermind, I should have known.... Who else would freakin have hair like that?" He said with a sharp gesture to Aiden's hair.

"Shut your ****ing mouth, dirtbag." Tristan snapped, his face looking a bit paler than before and his blue eyes cold. "Nobody asked for your opinion about your observations."

Justin leaned forward quickly in his chair with his mouth gaping open in responce to Tristan's comment but was quickly cut off by the only feminine voice in the room.

"Enough!" Abby's voice shot through the room , for the first time, sounding annoyed.

"Justin, no more comments. You are here to listen today, not comment. And if you feel the need to comment, then actually listen first. Everybody here is different.... and I expect everyone here to understand that and respect it even if you don't like it." She said, adressing the entire group before she made her way over to Aiden and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Orpheus and Aiden, since you both spoke first.... you two get to choose what sort of pizza we will be ordering...." She told them, with a much softer tone, attempting to get everyone back to a civil calm.

Tristan rolled his shoulders before sliding even deeper into his seat, his muscles in tight knotts from the stressful weeks behinde him. As he sat there, he lifted a hand to rub his head, a slight headache also forming. At this point, he just wanted to go to bed and hopefully never wake up again.

"Who wants to speak next?" Abby asked, looking around the table. "There's nothing to be ashamed of, boys. Thats the whole point of this meeting." She said and then smiled slightly with an unreadable tone. "....And none of you are leaving here until everyone has spoken."

She was strangely clever and yet slightly cruel at the same time. She knew that the boys might resent this at first... but she also knew that it had to be done... and so it would be done.

((Gotcha! Lol, I'll just have him wake up then....ah, the wonders of plot holes. xd ))

Seamus had just had one of the oddest dreams ever. He dreamed that he was in a Starbucks with a Picasso-fied reindeer and Dr. Seuss, who kept asking him to pass the Chips Ahoy and milk. Quite odd.

Surrepticiously lifting his head from its position on his chest, he took stock of his surroundings, which were different from where he last remembered. And if he remembered correctly....he had face-planted in the middle of the caf. Lovely first impression, that. And somebody must have been forced to drag him to the conference room. Better and better.

Tilting his head towards Abby, he managed to hear something about not being able to leave until everyone had spoken. About what, he had no idea, but BS-ing was a part of his blood- both Italian AND Irish sides.

"So, what, you want my whole life story, or just the cut and dry?" He joked, hoping to understand what was going on from the context of her answer. He was used to randomly jumping back into the swing of things, after all.

Liam met Aiden’s smile with a slightly nervous one of his own, and even began to say something before the technicolor lad began his own story. Well, more time for him to eat his lunch. These days, nothing would do with peanut butter sandwiches, or peanut butter anything. He was enjoying his immensely as he listened to Aiden’s sad tale. It wasn’t until he heard the word “whore” however that he reacted in surprise, coughing as he mildly choked on his soft bite of sandwich.

While the others yelled and argued, Liam recovered from his fit, then tilted his gaze back over to Aiden. The feelings he felt weren’t disgust or pity though, but something else. It was brave of him to come out and say such things, even knowing that the people around him would react negatively. It was a bravery that he could look up to.

“Ah, I’m Liam...” He spoke up at last, his eyes still watching the other boy to make sure he was okay. It was almost as if he didn’t mind that he was talking over Seamus, but his own story wouldn’t take too long. His voice was soft and yet deep at the same time, even if his words seemed to stumble quickly over each other. “I’m here because my parents don’t think that I’ve matured mentally, and that I’m not -manly-.” He wasn’t even sure what that was supposed to mean, but something in him snapped and started to panic with that comment. Now that people knew that about them, they’d probably try to manipulate him like so many other boys had before. He would have to counteract this quickly, though his method wasn’t exactly thought out.

Standing, he lifted his shirt up high, exposing his bare chest to the gathering, and in particular a pink scar that was above his belly button, just three inches in length. It almost looked like it was something from a surgery, the way it gleamed upon his abdomen. “And uh, I was stabbed during a mugging. Thank you.” Lowering his shirt back down, he sat in his seat again, then searched for his forgotten sandwich. His heart was racing, and his ears were shut off. If anyone had something to say about what he admitted, he didn’t want to hear it.
((yes yes, do it sounds pretty! heart ))

((Nnn, where's Daanish's profile? *been searching*

Also, a group pic sounds awesome. =3 If I had some extra time, I might do something...

I have an idea of how Seamus looks and I know Orpheus and Aiden, but I'm not positive on Tristan's looks (like, he has dark hair and blue eyes... right? But that's all I know)... And I know DC has a pic up for Allumen, but I can't really remember what it looks like... =o ))

Aiden's eyes fixed on Tristan and he was about to say that yes, he was serious, when Justin cut in. But the comment seemed to make no impresion on the teen's face. He had, after all, endured much worse from friends and, occasionally, family. He was still a minor, after all, and prostitution wasn't exactly smiled upon.

Although his expression didn't seem to change, again... something in his eyes seemed to flicker at the angry teen's comment. "I work in a hair sallon, so I like dying my hair," he said somewhat stubbornly, the attack on his hair seeming to be what got to him more than the comment on his sexuality ((xD;;;; VAAANITY)). A pout formed on his pinked lips and he crossed his arms somewhat deffensively over his chest. Aiden was almost never truly upset by anything, but for some reason Justin was particularly good at bringing out what small part of unhappiness he did show to others.

However, fortunately, his attention was diverted by Abby and he smiled, focusing his attention on her. "Mmmm... I like spinach pizza with extra cheese and tomatoes," he said happily.

**

Orpheus watched the proceedings with a bored expression on his face. Or... did he? It was incredibly difficult to tell if he was actually paying attention or not. Of course he was - that was what they were there for - but it wasn't overtly obvious to any outsider.

He lifted his golden-brown eyes as Abby adressed him. "I... don't care," he said slowly. "Cheese or whatever is fine with me."

((Aiden is going over so personality reajustments just because it makes it more fun. <3 He's still super spaztic and sluttacular, but now has more of a REASON for it (oo, yay). He has an odd tendency to always take care of others and take responsibility even when it's not his fault. So he would be the mother figure (xD;;; )if Abby weren't there.

He's still vain, tho.))

Ohh group pic yes!! *bows* I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!!))

Allumen decided to speak up finally. He didn't want to speak last and leave people dwelling on his life. "My name is Allumen. My mother died when I was thirteen and my father was... abusive." He shifted uncomfortably. "I was... sexually active with a minor. My father caught me and... Someone called the cops..." He looked pensive. It was as if he couldn't remember correctly. What had happened that day? "I can't really remember... but he was killed and I was sent before a judge for something, and it was this or juvy, I beieve..." He looked at Abby as if for help. He wished there were some sort of trap door beneath his seat and he could just fall through the floor.

((And I'm making him bi-polar cause i'm at least used to that. So you've met his softer, submissive side so far, and soon to come, his rebellious one who actually knows of what happened that day. Oh yeah, *huggles Aiden* god I love him. xD))

Pizza, huh? What were they, twelve? The thought of spinach and other slimy vegetables as a topping wasn't exactly appealing to him, but he probably would skip out on the pizza party anyway. Although it sounded as though the others were here for much more serious issues than his own, lingering fears about being ostracized by them still stuck to his heart. His eyes fell to his watch, an expensive looking thing that had obviously been purchased somewhere a bit more upscale than JC Penney’s. It felt like he had been in here for hours, and his disappointment was great when he discovered that they had been there for much, much less time. The sheer amount of sexual predators probably should have made him feel nervous, but surprisingly, it didn’t - although his embarrassment about such a subject was clearly written across his cheeks in the form of a red flush that seemed to scream “virgin”.
