ok I give you that, but some of the best couples start out not liking each other, at least we all agree Clark and Lana shouldn't be an item? 3nodding

Of course i have never been a Clana person. But see the props for a Chlark relationship would be: Clark would not have to hid anything from Chloe, He won't have to badger bad excuse for his strange disappearances, they know each other really well, and they have such a strong bond between them they could most likely with stand any emotional blow that could come towards them

Chloe might have said "lets be friends" but we all know she didn't mean it. People rarely say what we mean. Anyways, she wouldn't have had to say that if she didn't feel that Clark was more into Lana then her.

if Chloe did care enough to have a relationship with Clark she should have said so first off....mind you Clark did say the first thing Chloe did when they first met at school is give him a kiss (even though she had told him it was to get it out of the way) it should have been a big signal to him that Chloe liked him in more than a 'friends' sort of way.
Still Lois might freek so I can understand why Chloe is a good choice, but definately not Lana, its doomed

Yeah but Chloe kissed Clark to get it out of the way... but she still developed feelings for him. you have to be blind not to notice that Chloe doesn't still have feelings for Clark. I mean its played up all the time. Only she knew that Clark had always liked Lana and it was no use. But now The two of them (Clark and Lana) have moved on, giving Clark the oppertunity to move in closer to Chloe. I mean hell you could tell that there was something between them in vessel and it didn't take rocket Science to figure it out. Right now Chlark seems like the only possible Love affair for Clark to have at the moment.

At the moment, being the key phrase.
Eventually they should get to Clark/Lois pairing since that is what happens later, unles they intend to make Clark bumbling as per the movies make him out to be.
Personaly I wouldn't mind seeing Chloe get Clark for now.

its not only the movies that make Clark out to be "bumbling" have you ever read the comics? because the movies did not just create the idea. I personally hope they NEVER put Clois together on the show. Gough and Miller explained that Smallville was going to be a nw generation of superman, creating their own image of how Clark kent would progress into superman. They really really don't want to touch on the tights for a while. So technically Clark won't be putting on the red cape any time soon meaning that Lois will not be falling in love with superman any time soon. Lois Lane doe snot fall in love with Clark kent. She falls in love with superman only later to find out that Clark is Superman. But still, for Clois to happen Clark would have to put on the tights, which is not intended at all by gough and Miller.

and really he kind of hasn't...on his own at least. I mena when he was sleeping in Metamorphasis, reckoning... i rewatch hidden and it was more of a jump, and as Clark said in Crusade "i can't fly, Kal-el can fly"

well lets look at it this way, Superman with tights is when Lois is at least 30ish
and they are just young adults right now, look at The Flash he's still a teen in "Run"
as is aquaman.
plus I don't really think vlark can pull off the tights just yet xp

yah i know... thats what i was saying. But what are you getting at? I never said He could pull off the tights, i said he most likely WASN"T going to have anything to do with superman therefor leaving the whole Clois relationship on Hiatus until he is Superman, because Lois Lane falls in love with superman not Clark Kent. Considering it is highly unlikely that Clark will become superman on the show it there fore leaves the conclusion that there is no reasonable explanation as to why Clois would get together in the first place

that was before you mentioned that this was an AU show (Alternate Universe) Or a what if.
Perhaps if Lois and him are not to get together Chloe is replacing Lois.
and I just can't see Welling in the Superman get up, I just can't....
and what I ment before about Flash (Bart in season 4) and Aquaman in season 5 is that they aren't adults either. They are still teens, so if it was simply a matter of time it would be when Lois is in his early 30's as with the other characters in the show.
on another note of interest, we have seen the Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman, Brainiac, and Lex Luther...think they will bring Batman in next 4laugh

I never said Clark and Lois were never going to be together. I said they were never going to be together ON THE SHOW. Though i do have my theories about Chloe becoming Lois, but apparently im not alound to share them
