Johann shakes his head. "Nah, I have loads more at home, besides, they just make sound. It amuses me." He grinned.

Vincent chuckled. "You sound like a grveat parvent." He said with a smile, watching the sleeping child.

Rick nodded weakly, leaning against him as he heald his hand. He suddenly cried out, gripping Aura's hand and digging his claws into him, a blast of fire suddenly shooting out've his back

Sparky smiles, then nods. "Alright. I'll still make sure he takes good care of them." He says, looking down at Akito, who was still flicking his wings slightly to make noises with.

Ken smiles a bit, looking down at the sleeping Riku in his arms. "I love kids. I try to be a good parent. At least I'm succeeding with this one so far. I know this may be a bit personal, but, have you ever been in love with anyone before?"

Aura winced as Rick's claws dug into his hands, squinting his eyes shut against the heat of the flames shooting out of Rick's back. "s**t!"

Johann smiled, nodding and watching Akito also. "Seems he enjoys them anyway."

"I have vunce.. It didn't vork out I don't think... Ve havn't seen each other in a long time." He said with a sigh, thinking of Alek. " I think he grvew afrvaid of me.."

The fire slowly cooled off, but still stayed, the flames forming feathers as it fanned out into firey wings, settling against Ricks now burnt back, quickly healing the scalds and his hands. Rick still leant against Aura, seeming to be exhausted. He panted softly, before shutting his eyes and falling unconscious.

Sparky nods, watching Akito. "Yes, he does. And they're keeping him calm, which is even better. Every now and then, he just gets hyper and nothing I say or do can seem to calm him down."

Ken looks down at the ground, then back up at Vincent. "I'm sorry to hear that. What is there to be afraid of, anyway?"

Aura caught Rick, pulling the other against him as he fell unconscious. "Damn... What the ******** is going on here?" He said, staring at the wings on Rick's back now.

"Yes the sounds they make are designed to be relaxing, it's how i keep so laid back." He said with a smile, putting a hand on his hip.

Rick woke up an hour later, his wings had folded around him in a relaxed way, looking as if they were still on fire, but gave off no heat. He groaned and sat up, rubbing his head before looking back at the wings. "Ah.. they wasn't some hideous nightmare.." He groaned, though glad the pain wasn't there.

Sparky nods a bit. "So, how's Ghost?" he asked, blinking a bit. He'd only met the other once, so far.

Ken blinks, then nods. "The one with the rainbow hair? I'm not afraid of anyone drinking my blood or going psychotic off it. I deal with big bad men when I'm not with my son." He said, thinking of his night job as an assassin. He hadn't had a mission in awhile, which was good in his opinion.

Aura shakes his head. "Fraid not. What the hell does this mean, Rick?" He had situated Rick to where the other was resting comfortably on his stomach, with his head in Aura's lap.

"He's alright, keeping an eye on things at the asylum for me." He said with a nod.

Vincent chuckled. "It's not the whole being vith a vampire that's scary... I vas just a bit of a frveak... If you've ever given a bat Caffene, you'd know how bad I got..."

"It means the cure to the curse totally backfired and went to the other extreame to being cured of it." He looked back at his wings, experimenting moving them. "It's made me a phoenix." Which meant several things. one, he couldn't die. or he would, then combust into a pile of ashes and appear again in a burst of flames. and two, the likelyhood was Aura wouldn't die either, if he stayed close. Which is why pheonix feathers are so valuble, they hold the essance to immortality.

Ken tilts his head to the side slightly. "I think I've heard about that particular rabbit, though, so it wasn't neccessarily your fault it happened. He's just recently gotten off a bunch of drugs, if what I've heard is correct."

Aura just blinks, not quite understanding. "So.. That means you can't die again? Why would it backfire like that though?" he asked, puzzled.

Aura tilts his head again, red eyes blinking at Rick. He wanted to ask, but at the same time, he didn't, for fear that Rick would think he was just after something again. "I'm hungry.. You want something to eat?" He asks, trying to change the subject.

Rick shook his head, before looking up and suddenly kissing him on the lips, taking his time to pull away and sit up. "I love you as well.. Aura... It's why I couldn't let the idea of you loving me settle... But.. now i have these wings.. Even if that is what you're here for. I don't care, take a feather, take both my wings if you must, just stay with me." He wasn't acting like the Rick Aura knew at all. He was acting more like how he would before he was cursed.

Aura blinks, staring at Rick for a moment before shaking his head. "I already told you, I wasn't nice to you just to get something out of it, Rick. Keep your feathers. They belong on the wings, in my opinion, not being taken off or anything. I've already said that if you don't want me to leave, then I won't, as long as I can stay by your side."

Johann thought about it. "I don't really know, I suppose the quite reserved ones that no one ever notices." He teased, purposly describing how Sparky saw himself. "No really, no idea."

Rick smiled softly, glad, in fact, over joyed to be prooven wrong. That there was someone who didn't give their life to be close to the skunk, just to get a feather or two. "You know this means you're not going to die either." He said, looking up at Aura.

"It's why everyone wants a feather... the warmth it emmits prevents people from aging and growing old. Also, I can heal people with these wings, so you wont die from other ways either." He explained softly.
