Ok. i hve to clearup a few points namely all of them.

If Your Child is a Gothic, Reform Through the Lord!
Listed below are some warning signs to indicate if your
child may have gone astray from the Lord.
(they have sex in the woods at church camp?)

Gothic (or goth) is a very obscure and often dangerous
culture that young teenagers are prone to participating in.
The gothic culture leads young, susceptible minds into an imagined world of evil,darkness, and violence. Please seek immediate attention through counselling, prayer, and parental guidance to rid your child of Satan's temptations if five or more of the following are applicable to your child:

-Frequently wears black clothing.
(ok i know this one is pretty much on the mark, but goths are know to wear purples, reds, and even white. also i think "Constantly" would be a better indicator of a budding gothlet in the house. )
-Wears band and/or rock t-shirts.
(or they could be punks, metalheads, hillbillies/rednecks or even poseur-a** preps in ramones and rolliung stones shirts, you never now.)
-Wears excessive black eye makeup, lipstick or nailpolish.
(Especialy the boys. Ok, they got us on this one.)
-Wears any odd, silver jewelry or symbols. Some of these include:
reversed crosses, pentagrams, pentacles, ankhs or various other Satanic worshipping symbols.
(ok they missed every actual symbol of satanic worship such as: The Goat's Head. The Sigil of Baphomet and the INVERTED Pentagram/pentacle.)
-Shows an interest in piercings or tattoos.
(What it they want to have a cross made out of surface piercings or a bible verse tattooed on them?)
-Listens to gothic or any other anti-social genres of
music. (Marilyn Manson claims to be the anti-Christ, and publicly speaks
against the Lord. Please discard any such albums IMMEDIATELY.)
(I'm not even going to touch this one except to say that if my parents had thrown away any of my CDs that I had payed for I would have killed them.)
-Associates with other people that dress, act or speak eccentrically.
(or any other free thinkers, especialy those people who think the world is round.)
-Shows a declining interest in wholesome activities, such
as: the Bible, prayer, church or sports.
(How are sports wholesome? it's just a bunch of people of the same gender competing, grabbing each other and showering together.)
-Shows an increasing interest in death, vampires, magic,
the occult, witchcraft or anything else that involves Satan.
(The occult and magic may be tenuously linked to Satan but it's not the most direct route and as for witchcraft and vampirism, totaly un-satanic)
-Takes drugs.
(by the time you find out it will already be too late.)
-Drinks alcohol.
(who dosen't)
-Is suicidal and/or depressed.
(is that fair, listing an imbalance in brain chemistry as a "symptom" of goth?)
-Cuts, burns or partakes in any other method of self-mutilation. (This is a Satanic ritual that uses pain to detract from the light of God and
His love. Please seek immediate attention for this at your local mental health center.)
(Sorry. wrong again. Satanic practice completely denounces self mutilation. unless you're a masochist.)
-Complains of boredom.
(Huh? teenagers are not allowed to be bored? It's like an automatic adolescent character trait.)
-Sleeps too excessively or too little.
(so unless they sleep exactly eight hours a night every night they're a goth? Have these people never heard of narcolepsy or insomnia?)
-Is excessively awake during the night.
(you won't know about it of course, because you are getting your exactly eight hours of sleep.)
-Dislikes sunlight or any other form of light. (This pertains to vampires promoting the idea that His light is of no use.)
(or they happen to be photosensitive. Alot of people don't like the cancer sunlight will bring. I'm still havign trouble linking the whole Vampire thing to the whole "God is useless thing. though)
-Demands an unusual amount of privacy.
(becase adolecents are known for their openness and thier ability to share this part of thier life with anyone. )
-Spends large amounts of time alone.
(maybe they're doing homework?)
-Requests time alone and quietness. (This is so that your child may speak to evil sprits.) (Dosen't prayer and personal meditation require quietness and time alone?)
-Insists on spending time with friends while unaccompanied by an adult.
(Because teenagers love having mom and dad arround when hanging with the guys)
-Disregards authority figures; teachers, priests, nuns and
elders are but a few examples of this.
(Depends on the authority figure.)
-Misbehaves at school.
(fair enough. I guess teenagers don't act out in your percfect world)
-Misbehaves at home.
(see above. then take off the rose colored glasses and see above again.)
-Eats excessively or too little.
(so if your kid is either realy fat or realy skinny they could b a goth?)
-Eats goth-related foods. Count Chocula cereal is an example of this.
(No. just, no.)
-Drinks blood or expresses an interest in drinking blood.
(Vampires believe this is how to attain Satan. This act is very dangerous and should be stopped immediately.)
(Vampires do not exist. Attaining Satan is alot easier than you might think. just accept him into your heart willingly. Althouhg I do agree that drinking blood can be quite dangerous.)
-Watches cable television or any other corrupted media sources. (Ask your local church for proper programs that your child may watch.)
(Bwuh? All the christian neworks are on cable/satelite.)
-Plays videos games that contains violence or role-playing nature.
(so all of them?)
-Uses the internet excessively and frequently makes time for the computer.
(your kid is a geek, not a goth.)
-Makes Satanic symbols and/or violently shakes head to music.
(This is known as Headbanging. Probably an actual sign of goth kid)
-Dances to music in a provocative manner.
(Not a sign of goth, it is infact the sign that you have a future teen mother in your home)
-Is homosexual and/or bisexual.
(I'm not gonna bother)
-Pursues dangerous cult religions. Such include: Satanism, Scientology, Philosophy, Paganism, Wicca, Hinduism and Buddhism.
(I wouldn't think of many of those were dangerous, but I do understand why christians fear competition. Please remember your religion was once considered a cult too.)
-Wears pins, stickers or anything else that contains these various phrases: "I'm so gothic, I'm dead", "woe is me", "I'm a goth".
(duh.)
-Claims to be a goth.
(yeah dosen't count as a sign if it hits you in the face.)

If five or more of these apply to your child, please intervene immediately. The gothic culture is dangerous and Satan thrives within it. If any of these problems persist, enlist your child into your local mental health center.

I post this here so you can all see the dangers of this insideous subculture. I myself was almost lured into its self-destructive spiral, but through the help of my local church and parents I managed to escape. Your church can help you too, if you just pay close attention to the warning signs.
