Demyx handed the apple back with a grin, before turning to his bottle of rum. Luxord had said he could drink it, soooo why not? Popping open his bottle, the musician started in on his rum.

....Luxord was sure to be happy with a drunk Demyx later anyway.


"Maybe he's been drinking."

Seifer snickered, gently tugging Namine over to the food tables.

"Yes, let's do that."

Sefirex quickly followed Zexion's lead, relieved to be 'safe' from Seif.

Relm's compliment was met by a particularly vicious growl, and nothing else.

Yahto whooped with thrilled excitement when Imogen started "TimeWarp" and even his sister perked an ear & grinned. "TimeWarp! Chii, You're going to love this!" "Now this I can't resist." With a last pat Relm politely ignored the growls from the chocobo. "Have a little fun, Baxter -it's Halloween."

Smiling at Reno & the chocobo she made a motion to indicate they should join in too. While Yahto took care to see his pretty friend learned the dance & had fun Relm began dancing along to the called instructions. Even Relm sang along.

"We wont have anything stronger if you keep drinking the way you are." He pulled the bottle from Saix and Kaleb's hands before holding it back out to Kaleb.

"Well we dont have cups so you can. If you dont want anyone else having any then just dont let them and no germs." He grinned as he wiggled his own bottle.

Turning is head he eyed Namine. "I havent been drinking .. yet." He'd seen the others get something out of a cabnite and that looked like a prime place to start.

Tugging on Sefirex's arm he headed in the direction of the liquor cabnite.

"Bondage works wonders." He patted the chocobo on the head and grinned as Baxter struggled.

When Relm walked off he walked around Baxter. "So ... what should i do with you now..."

Aiden squirmed nervously on the back of the hover-cycle, causing the handles of the short sword and rapier on his left hip to clink together slightly. Leaning forward across the machina Rikku giggled. Fayths, Aiden! quit your wiggling! We're nearly there!"

The soft-spoken male did not comment, more because he did not want to eat his sister's hair than because he did not want to speak. Instead he watched their progress silently.

The Al Bhed was anxious too. She and Naruto had talked about matching costumes but her ninja had not yet seen the black cowgirl outfit she wore with its red trimmings & white fringe. Rikku had left her hair down and exchanged her blue bandana for a red one with a white & black paisley print on it that matched her outfit. The skirt was not quite authentic, but it was cute & Rikku liked it. Of course, in a skirt so short she probably should not have been riding her hover-cycle like she was, but the skirt had enough flair not to be in danger & the fringe helped keep it safe to the eyes too.

Closing his eyes as a strand of Rikku's long blonde hair snapped his way the fae audio straitened the lay of his Musketeer tabard. It like the swords had belonged to Trelweny's late husband. She had needed to open a seam in the back to let the highlander's wings through but she had seemed honored that it would be used. Aiden hoped he could do it justice.... and that Lainey would like it.

Rikku slowed the machina & Aiden opened his eyes to take in the sight of the Halloween Party. "Ach. Well i' seems somebody went all out, dinnae i'?"

As soon as the hover-cycle came to a complete stop, Aiden hopped off & offered the Al Bhed a hand down. Giggling, Rikku accepted but drew the line at going in with him. "I need to lock up the cycle..." She offered as way of explanation, but Aiden's keen golden eyes saw how she glanced about as if searching & he knew that she wanted to wait outside for her beau. "Dinnae be te long abou' i', Rikku-lass." He said with a wink, donning the feathered musketeer hat he had worn on his back for the ride.

"You got it!" The blonde agreed, tipping her own hat as she set it on her head, the braids surrounding her face bouncing as Rikku tried not to giggle. With a polite bow, Aiden sauntered in his black high boots to the door. Alone for the moment, Rikku hastily combed her hair from the ride.

Inside, Relm was a little disappointed the Turk had not chosen to dance. It was not a big deal... the artist had merely been curious if he would try to get the bound Baxter/chocobo to dance. She spotted her brother's mate enter & kept one eye on the princess while continuing to dance & sing along.

He was really into the dance -thrilled that Chii was having fun- when Yahto saw Lainey too & waived. "Look Chii! Lainey's shown up!"

Aiden blinked at all the audios within. Many he recognized, though the often silent watcher was certain not as many knew him. The bright shine of a white dress as the light reflected from it made him blink as his eyes were adjusting to the light. The Scottish gentleman felt a strong desire to approach her -so strong he started to feel guilty & almost turned away completely when his eyes finally became used to the lights inside & he could see the familiar & beloved firework pattern on the few spots not covered by the dress. With quick, purposeful strides he closed the distance between them, guilt gone. What use for it, when the longing was for his own dear lass? "Lainey... my lady..." He bowed deeply, even taking off his hat properly. "Ye look lovely."

"Course!!" Yahto would much rather be dancing than hanging out with the couple regardless. He grinned, stepping right back into the dance. "Those two don't need our help!"

The artist itched to paint the lovers, but somehow managed to resist. Relm did not even wave. It was Lainey's moment.

"Nae... 't'is nae a bit o'er th' top, beloved." He took her hand in his, gallantly kissing the back with warm kisses. "An' thank ye, my bonny Lainey. I had hoped ye would like my choice." The fingers of Aiden's free left hand casually brushed the pummel of the rapier, Destiny, as they held his hat.

Keeping her hand in his Aiden rose & donned his hat. Now, wha' be my bonny lady's desire?" He indicated with a casual sweep of his hand the dancing, the food, the audios drinking....

Aiden blinked at the sight of what would only be Demyx -with wings. Something told him they were not fake wings... not like his fool brother in his winged donkey costume. These were useful. "Saints preserve us..." The highlander breathed in surprise, doing another double take spotting an audio that could only be Saix also with usable wings. It made him wonder about the horns. Almost as surprising, the two seemed to be getting along -a far cry from the last time he had viewed them in the shop from high up in his rafter perch.

Shaking his head to refocus his thoughts Aiden smiled apologetically at Lainey, tucking the hand he held expertly into the curve of his arm. "My lady?"

Chii smiled with a nod, glad that Yahto understood. She was confused for a moment when the music changed, looking helplessly at Yahto for some direction. Yahto always seemed to know what to do. "Chii...?"

Lainey couldn't stop the soft, shy smile that spread across her lips, giggling softly at Aiden's chivalrous act, though she knew it really wasn't an act. Her beau was of a dying breed of gentleman and she knew how lucky she was to have found someone like him, much less have someone like this love her as much as she loved him. She noticed the blades at his side, wanting to ask about them, but not getting the chance to. "Umm..." She looked around, not knowing what they should do.
She noticed then that Aiden's attention was elsewhere and followed his gaze. Her breath hitched softly in surprise. Two other audios with wings. The intimidating looking one with wings she had never seen before, but the one with angel wings... She had seen him once or twice before, but she had never spoken to him directly. He didn't have wings then, but this was a costume party, so she didn't think much of it. "Aiden..?" She smiled softly and shook her head, "Don't worry about it. They do look pretty realistic, don't they?" "She heard the change in music and smiled, "Would you care to dance with me, Aiden?"

Haze was too lost in his own thoughts to notice that he was no longer the only one outside... That was until someone tried to sit on him. "HEY! Watch it!" he murred indignantly, then got a better look at who it was. He didn't recognize this audio, so he was surprise when she seemed to recognize him. "Umm... Hi..." There was something a bit... unnerving about this girl, so he'd have to be polite, otherwise he couldn't garuntee that he wouldn't be hurt. "It's awfully crowded in there, isn't it?" he tried to make polite conversation.

Naruto panted as he made his way to the shop for the party, knowing he was running late. He was actually dressed up as a cowboy since he and Rikku talked about matching costumes for the party. He straightened up, checking himself over. Cowboy hat? Check. White buttoned shirt? Check. Black vest? Check. Blue jeans with the black chaps? Check. Black trench coat with the fake sheriffs badge? Check. Cowboy hat? Check. Leather boots with the fancy stitching and stirrups? Check. Yep, he was ready!!

He sighed, knowing the only reason all three of Moochi's equines refused to give him a ride there was because of the stirrups, even though he promised he would be careful.

Naruto stopped his walking as he finally noticed Rikku and he stared, his trench coat swaying a little form his movements, "Wow Rikku, you look....great!!" he says with a grin, finally resuming his walk to her, wanting to get her back into his arms and kiss her again.
