Austin was equally surprised at Kia's answer and change of decision. At first, he was to shocked to do anything. But a second afterwards, he smiled warmly.
"Thank you.."
He blushed slightly himself at the way Kia'd made him feel; Fuzzy and cuddly. He hated that feeling, usually to him it meant that he was falling in love. Why hate that feeling? Getting burned over and over again usually sends a clear message; Don't mess with love if you can't take it.
But austin was obviously a hardhead. He was still out there looking for a girlfriend, not caring about the consequences of failure.
Though this feeling meant good things and bad alike, he ignored it and left his notions behind.
"Alright then. Eat up, I won't interrupt you again."

Kia blinked again as his expression changed yet again, this time to something much more pleasant and warm. It made her feel a bit uncomfortable but only because she was not used to experiencing such sincere emotion.
Her eyes lingered on him for a few moments more before she turned them slowly back to her food. She had already demolished the spaghetti and chicken in record time. Now she was working on one of the three slices of pizza that she had grabbed off the lunch line, gobbling it down rather quickly.
"...Aren't you hungry? Eat."

Austin stood up, walked off to an instant coffee dispenser and purchased a cup of hot water. he pulled out a small aluminum foil packet and opened it, pouring in small white and green chunks and some powder. He stirred the hot water with his finer as he returned, then sucked his finger clean.
"This will do for me."
He placed the cup on the table for a moment, allowing the mixture to heat up. after about 10 seconds, the cup became full of tofu. Austin picked up the hot cup, and drank the contents at once.
"Ahh~ tasty. Yup, I'm good to go now."
Austin had an odd diet. He was able to eat very little and go very far without tiring.It was a desirale trait for survival situations with limited resources, but sometimes it wasn't a good thing. At times, he'd put on extra weight due to light anorexia. Of course, he'd trim it right off, but he hated having to do it over and over again.

"Instant Tofu? You eat so little. Like a bird."
Opposite to his eating habits, Kia's half demon lineage required her to eat large amounts of food to maintain stability and health due to how much energy she required. It was also the reason for her frequent napping.
Now her pizza was finished along with her lemonade, devoured in mere seconds. She now turned her attentions to her cheese fries and barbecued beef, drinking a large glass of iced tea in between mouthfuls.

"Mhmm, i get that alot~ But martial artists have to watch what they eat, as well. They can't just shove whatever suits them into their system and make their body work. I do treat myselfto cokes and such once in a while, but i always drink some water and do a bit of shadow-boxing right afterwards."
Which Austin began to do. He slowly went through a three count combination of a jab, cross and then a left hook, each time looking at his hands and form.

Kia could not help but roll her eyes at his explanation. It was not something she could understand easily because again she was his opposite. There were very few limitations as to what she could eat, and she was capable of eating large quantities of food without gaining a pound. This was due to her hyperactive metabolism.
His shadow boxing did seem to capture her attention rather well despite her thoughts, however. So she sat and watched him quietly while moving on to her next plates of food, all of it disappearing quickly.

Austin could feel her eyes resting on his movement, and he finished up his last combo with a sigh.
"That's good for now.."
He spoke quietly under his breath. He turned to see How many plates Kia had left, and noticed that there remained but one.
Then he saw how many she'd already used, and sweatdropped. That amount was scary.
"Jeebus, that's alot of food."
Austin knew that she had a different metabolism because of her heritage, but it still amazed him that such a small person could eat so much and not gain weight.

Finally reaching her last plate which contained a thick slice of cheescake, Kia took up a clean fork and surprisingly began to eat slowly, savoring each bite with a pleased look on her face. Although she was a voracious eater at times, it was always a rule of thumb for her to eat sweets slowly and with care.
After a few minutes more her meal was done and she burped rather loudly, dabbing her mouth with her napkin again before gathering her plates to send back for washing.
"That was delicious~"

Austin quickly gather Kia's plates, stacking them in a neat and organized fashion atop each other within an economical setting to save space. Afterwards, he took nearly more than half of the plates and carried them over to the tray disposal center, and lightly dropped them down. He left the other half for Kia, since she'd been the one to pick the plates to begin with. Austin liked being courteous, but not to the point where the person receiving it became lazy. Thus, he left a little bit less than half the work for her.
"So what do you wanna do now, Kia?"

After ridding herself of the stack of dishes that she had amassed, she sighed and gave her stomach a small pat. Now that she was properly full, it was time to really get her feet wet in her new surroundings. After all this was an amazingly large school and she had only been to a couple of the buildings. Tuning herself to talk to Austin, she yawned widely and stretched her arms above her head.
"Well I am new. Show me around. You know...to all the important places and stuff. You don't want me to get lost, do you?"

Austin smiled slightly at the question.
"No, i wouldnt want that at all. Well, Lets get going then..I'll take you to the battle arena first."
Austin knew that somehow it was best to take her there first. He scratched his scalp lightly with his fingers, moving around his slightly matted hair. he fluffed everything up, so that it all would curl out into a mini-fro. e walked towards the double doors that lead into the halls, and opened them.
"Lets get going, then..."

"You just said 'let's get going then' twice. Are you sure you're okay?"
Kia shot him a funny glance before stepping through the open double doors. Her question was not meant to insult him despite it's harsh tone, but it was a genuine one birthed from curiosity.
"This should be interesting. Come on, hurry."
She waited patiently for him to join her and take the lead, and once he did they were off to their first destination, the Battle Arena.

Austin, still rather sleepy, and now embarassed, blushed and rubbed his eyes.
"Oh, shush. You woke me up 3 hours earlier than usual..I'm still kinda groggy."
Austin closed the doors and led the way down the hall quietly.

Glissa leaned forward finally and sat her chin on the table, in a very bore-child like way.
"So what do you want to do next?" She asked in a very funny sounding voice, due to the lack of her jaw moving. Glissa snuffed at her own voice and sat up again. Since she had finished eating, her restless energy was building up again. The small girl appeared one last time and cleared their dishes away.

Kirai sighed. He could tell how restless Glissa was, due to the fact that demons had a high metabolism.
"Hmm. Not quite sure. You in the mood to go check out the beach?"
Kirai really didn't wanna go to the beach that much. But it was the only place he knew of, besides the city of evil, where they could have fun. And If he took her to the city of evil, things wouldnt end very well..there would likely be some perverted convicts there willing to make a comment about her body, and she'd end up beating the snot out of them and remain pissed off for the rest of the evening. Thus, the only neutral place for them to hang out was the beach.
