"Woah, hold it," Chloe warned, bringing her hands up to catch the falling man. "You don't seem to be in any shape to be doing stuff like that..."

"But I..." his voice cracked, and Chloe offered him a drink from her canteen before he could continue, his voice a bit stronger.

"I really should be going, they still need my help!" he managed.

"Don't think you're getting anywhere," Chloe shook her head, "Not in this condition."

"But I-" his next words were cut off with a wince and a small cry as he fell back once again. This time it wasn't due to his injuries, as Chloe pried Ayame off of the man's arm, where she had latched on with her small teeth.

Ayame let out a small, "Kuuuu," before retreating back a few paces, and deciding to take that nap now, she curled up in a sun spot and dozed.

"She still needs a bit more training, I'm sorry," Chloe murmured, before checking the man's arm for any sign of injury. The small teeth had broken skin, and small pinpricks of red were slowly seeping into the white of his coat's material.

"I really do apologize for her behavior. I just caught her, and didn't know Korinku are so hard to tame."

"Wait, you're not a trainer?"

"Trainer?" the white-haired one echoed, even more confused.

"Wow! No wonder you're hurt, you wandered out here without any Pokemon! That's suicidal. Wild Pokemon are everywhere in areas like this. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what got to you."

The white-haired one's eyes widened, "No! I cannot allow any more people from this world to see me!"

"Woah, calm down buddy, I think you must've hit your head pretty hard or something." Chloe shook her head. "Fine, I know a little first aid, thanks to my brother being such a klutz, so I suppose I could help out a bit. You don't seem to be bleeding anywhere, except that bite, which I can fix up in a jiffy."

"Ah," Chloe grinned, happy to at least get that. "The name's Chloe, this is Kaze," she pointed to the Charizard. Sylam's eyes widened slightly at the sight of the large dragon-looking creature, but managed to qwell his fear enough to nod slightly.

"Chroar!" Kaze nodded in greeting.

"He was my first Pokemon, back when he was a little Charmander," Chloe explained with a grin. "He certainly did cause plenty of trouble back then. Still does, I suppose."

Kureno smiled, and offered a chirp in greeting. Sylam managed to smile back, which caused the Pidgeot to offer another, louder call in happiness.

"Layla we found a while back in some bushes. I later decided to evolve her into a Vaporeon, since I thought it fit her personality well."

"Vaaa!" Layla nodded.

"And you've already met Aya, although it was on less than friendly terms," Chloe scratched her head sheepishly. "She's the newest addition."
