After a long flight, Kaze landed in the small town, surprisingly with few turnarounds and backtracks, since the two hadn't been to the town in ages.
"Last time we came here, Kureno was still a Pidgeotto," Chloe remembered with a laugh, recalling Kaze for a well-deserved rest. The Charizard was strong, but still a bit winded from the long flight. Not that he'd ever admit that...
"So, there's been trouble in Sinnoh. Suppose we can travel around until we find something," Chloe nodded.

"Alright, partner, lets use Faint Attack!" Chloe called. The Trapinch nodded, vanishing into the shadows to strike at the Nosepass. (-50 from Nosepass) The Nosepass responded with Tackle, as Roark knew that Rock Throw wouldn't be too good of a choice against the Trapinch. (-20 from Mikami) "Keep at it, another Faint Attack!" Chloe called. (-50 from Nosepass) The Nosepass responded with another Tackle. (-20 from Mikami) "We're wearing it down, Mikami, use another Faint Attack to further weaken it," Chloe instructed. (-50 from Nosepass) Another Tackle followed suit. (-20 from Mikami, 170/230 left) "Alright, time to finish it off, use Bite!" the Trapinch clamped down on the Nosepass, refusing to let go until the enemy had fallen. (Nosepass has fainted!)

"Well, that was quick," she laughed. "I think I definitely should have faced him when I was a bit less experienced. It might have been tougher then."
"So, we've got some detective work to do, so let's head on through Oreburgh, and see what we can find."

"I think we should catch up with our badges in this region, before all of the battles will be as easy as that last one," she scratched her head sheepishly as Aki yipped in agreement.

Continuing still, the Grunt made short work of the route to Hearthome, dodging both trainers, cops, and curious onlookers. Man! This chick was getting heavy! But, hard work paid off, so he continued to heft the unconscious Kitt onwards. It looked like there wasn't much of a journey left, just a bit further, he kept telling himself. It would be worth it! *moving to Hearthome*
