Kaleb wrapped his scrawny arms around his chest and shuddered a bit as his imagination took Nonet's description and went on a field day. "Th-that sounds absolutely terrifying," he told her honestly.
"I think I would be more afraid of running into one of those shadows than another audio," he said quietly.

"Luxord says that they arent all that troublesom. I mean i kicked one and it poofed into this black puff." She tilted her head and smiled at him. "So since you can do magic and stuff they probably couldnt hurt you anyway"

Kaleb smiled a bit in return, but he didn't loosen up any. "I-I suppose you're right, but they still sound pretty creepy looking." He would hate to encounter a black creature with glowing yellow eyes in a dark alleyway, or in a dark hallway... Or anywhere for that matter.

"You dont like creepy things do you?" Her ears fell slightly. "Sorry for bringing them up ... i didnt mean to scare you"
She hadnt meet to talk about stuff like that but he'd asked. Maybe she should have just talked about the happier parts of the Castle.

"That sounds exciting, does your castle have gardens too?" Kaleb asked, smiling. If nothing else, the mage was pretty resilient. Or at least he appeared to be until it came for him to turn out the lights and go to bed in the evenings.

"Umm ... i think there have to be some somewhere i just dont know where." She scratched her muzzle as she thought.
"I havent really explored even half of the place yet so i am not sure what all is there. Plus i think the place changes every time i walk around. Like it moves to fit the people who live there or something"

Kaleb blinked. "I would get lost if my apartment always changed, but then again, it's pretty small and there's not much to get lost in..." He thought about it for a second, before shaking his head. "How do you ever get from one place to another if the castle is always changing?"

"Well like the main stuff dosent change and once someone's room has been built it stays in the same place. Its just kinda like .... well the place grows."
That was all she could think of to explain it. "Like ... there didnt used to be rooms where me and my siblings have rooms but there is now cause we are there"

The idea of visiting the castle he had heard so much about was an exciting thought, but it was also kind of frightening. "I-I wouldn't visit on my own, I wouldn't even know how to get there if it were in an alternate dimension." He glanced away, and only just noticed that the rain had gotten heavier while they were conversing.

Kaleb blushed brightly at that. "I-I wouldn't want to impose, r-really..." If he hadn't said it, his nervous fidgeting at the thought would have been enough to indicate that he really couldn't manage anything that forthright.
