The painkillers had seemingly loosened her inhibitions about men and how she rather hated them, that and the combined fact that Elijah had yet to annoy her or hit any of her endless pet peeves made for a much calmer, nicer Zanna. "Do they bother you when you sleep? Or shower even?"
She suddenly wonder how and if water even affected his wings, and just as her mind started drifting off to thoughts of him and his tattoo in the shower, the teen felt some light pecks at her chest. A few hoots brought a confused look to Zanna's face before she shook her head and turned it back to Elijah. "M'sorry, must be the drugs..."
Responding again after he finished speaking, Zanna gave him a wide grin. "She's sweet isn't she...? It's almost as if she understands me... But anyways, since you haven't seen them yet, do you want to now?"
Without waiting for an answer, Zanna moved to pick up Sevati off of her stomach, but the owl, as if knowing, had already hopped off onto her casted leg. "They're on my stomach... most of them. " Running her fingers over the markings, she tilted her head up to catch his reaction, an honest smile adorning her lips.

He is careful to come any closer to her, careful to make any sort of wrong move at all actually. But it seems necessary now that his current position has become obsolete for a view of the stomach tattoos.
Elijah lifts his chair a little closer to the bedside, sitting very nearly on the edge. He turns his head to the right, examining and almost memorizing the sight of these tattooed markings.
"Wings are something you get used to pretty quickly. Or rather, they get used to you.. whichever way, it's like another part of your body." He says this while studying her stomach, the tone of his voice considerably quieter. He considers for a moment running his hand across the markings in curiosity - the closest hand even raises a little in hesitated decision making - but he decides against it just as quickly.
He forces his eyes back onto her face again, leaning back just a little. "I hope I haven't been bad company or nothing. Truthfully, I didn't have anything better to do, and I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I came here in the first place. I guess the element of your injury making you less intimidating is.. well." He leaves off abruptly, meaning to trail off but never really doing so. Why the hell was he so confused all of a sudden? Things when he was a kid were laid out perfectly, if not leaving only a few things in the dark. Now, it was a search for the lightswitch in a pitch black obstacle course..

She watched him absently, almost picking up a hand to push his fallen bangs out of his face, but like Elijah, she decided against the contact. Though she was mesmerizing herself on his own tattoo as he returned the favor. In fact, she was very surprised that Elijah hadn't run away screaming with the sight of her many weapons strewn across the room, and in the wall.
Shaking her head at his last comments, Zanna grinned. "I love the company actually, and I hope that visiting me turned out better than whatever the ******** else you were going to do." With her abrupt pause, she blinked several times and cocked her head to the side.
"I'm intimidating? Really?" What followed next was an almost gleeful and even somewhat sadistic laugh, which could only be described as a crazy lady laugh. It soon died down as she gave him a goofy grin, "Weeds out all the... spineless ones..." That was her explanation at least.

He laughs gently. "Sleep. I was intending on catching up on sleep.. I'd say that visiting you has been a lot more interesting than an unguarded sleep. Hell, where else would I find a girl with like, fifty times as many weapons than she really needs?"
Elijah sits back completely in the chair, both hands on the armrests with the intention of standing up. In fact, from the "has been" comment, he intends to make an exit entirely, not just from the chair.
Raising from the bedside, the teen gives her a suspiciously unreadable smile. He'd been practicing with various facial expressions lately; the whole concept of them just intrigues him greatly. In result, he's added quite a few more to his range of emotions.
"I'm sorry to have to leave you, but it'd probably be wise if I returned home at a decent hour for once since I've grown. Hell, I've heard more 'teenage rebellion' remarks than I've ever wanted to hear.." He shakes his head, trying to come up with a more formal, or at least less embarrassing, exit for himself.
"Keep your head up about your training. Your leg'll be better 'fore you know it - you should just enjoy having a reason to boss people around into doing things for you, or somethin'. Me being one of them that you can add to the list - you need me for something, you send your owl friend when she's better too and I'll see what I can manage."
He reaches the doorway, turning to face her again and taking a step backwards, planning to remember her this way; drugged up or not, this was one hell of a confusingly comforting experience.

"I need them all! I mean, if you chuck a throwing knife during a fight, you can't just saunter over to wherever it landed, flesh region or not... and yank it back to throw again... Very bad idea..." She said it all in a scientific manner, as if she were describing the method of photosynthesis to the other teen. In fact, Zanna was going to go on when Elijah 'interrupted' her, his comments making her beam with pride. In fact, Sevati even hooted a bit as her eyes followed the taller frame of the male.
Maybe the drugs were sinking in a bit, her brains having been slowing down ever since he had arrived.
"I'll make sure to send her your way, and come visit whenever you can... Makes me happy to have company like yours..." Raising an eyebrow, she was slightly sad that he was leaving, but he had promised to come back if she asked... so Zanna was just fine with that.
Before he left the teen made sure to call out a rather cheery, though somewhat slurred, picking her hand up to wave. "Goodbye sexy... sexy tattoo.. man... Have fun!"
Yep, the drugs were taking full effect.

Aurora was on her way to the meeting point, her back packed and heavy on one shoulder. She looked rather unusual for Aurora, no makeup, no hair products, and clothing that was ... normal. Not fashionable, just normal, if a little greek in theme. There wasn't even any real fancy jewelry on Aurora. Not that she really owned anything.
She knocked on the door that was the right one, according to the directions, with Zanna's gift in a cardboard box hanging off one hand by a thick string.

The door opened soon enough after, a pair of fushia eyes peeking out before the figure pulled open the door happily, even though he didn't know who it was. "Hello! I'm Slush... Who might you be?"
X was currently indisposed due to the recent disappearance of her love and signifigant other, otherwise she would've opened the door herself. Instead, Slush had put himself in charge of the house.

"Hi Slush!" Aurora replied brightly, taking a big liking to those eyes. He was friendly! That was good, she wasn't sure how friendly everyone was here... from what she'd seen glimpses of, anyway. "I heard Zanna was hurt, and I got her a present."
She lifted the box, and then dropped it again. The damn thing was heavy, but Aurora hoped it'd suit Zanna. It wasn't pink, so that was a good start.

Surprisingly, when she dropped it, he swiftly leaned in and caught it before dragging the girl inside and towards where Zanna was currently staying, kicking his foot back to shut the door as he moved. Hm, Aurora, that name seemed to ring a bell. Maybe Zanna had mentioned it before? He was sure she had!
"Aurora...Yeah, I think she's mentioned you before..." Slush grinned wide as he continued to drag, speaking as they neared, and eventually came to Zanna's room, where she was out cold from the drugs. "Want me to wake her? Though if I do, hide behind the door to avoid flying sharp objects."
The emotion in his face was still cheery, as if he saw nothing wrong with the girl chucking things at possible strangers or friends... or family for that matter.

Aurora watched him, and shrugged a tiny bit. Not everyone could be as slow and weak as Kia. She followed him inside, glancing around a little bit. But she wasn't looking for anyone, of course not. Aurora didn't care. ...she just hoped that damn letter hadn't reached him yet, she wanted to be gone when he got it.
"She met me once, so maybe she has?" Aurora replied, but a bit uncertianlly. There was a fa'e Aurora too. "...Yea, in that case, you wake her. SHe'd probably prefer you."
Ok, so prehaps this gift was a bad one. Good, but bad. Aurora blinked again, did they all chuck stuff at each other?

Slush nodded and then eyed the amount of throwing knives next to where Zanna was laying, thinking twice as he remembered Zanna not quite... loving this girl. He turned to Rora and gave her a hopeful smile. "Can we just leave it by her... Not wake up the Zanna on drugs with lots of sharp things and a bad temper?"
Giving her a pathetic pout, he swished his tail and did his best to look cute and scared, hamming it up as best as he could. They never got guests like this!

"Uh, that might be a good idea." Aurora agreed, taking one look at the throwing knives. She took a quick glance around, gazing at the weapons. If the Amazons ever ran out of weapons, she knew where to direct them. But strangly, Aurora was more fasinated now than anything, and she started to wonder what hers would be like... which, again, was odd. Aurora would have been very freaked out a few weeks ago.
"Don't worry, you don't have to wake her." Aurora snapped back to reality, and shrugged, giving him a bright grin. "Nice surprise for her when she wakes, anyway."

Good! There will be no knife dancing tonight, or rather right now. He gave a goofy grin to Rora as he took the gift and set it on the chair next to the bed before ushering her out. "Great minds think alike! Well, most people don't really want to die for giving someone a gift... or waking them, or anything really... So that makes..." Slush pondered for a moment before grinning cheekily, "A lot of great minds..."
Suddenly he jumped as a realization came to mind, bouncing excitedly in place. "Do you want to stay for dinner? Nathan cooks great things when he's here..."

"And the rest must be crazy... or suicidal." Aurora grinned back, leaving the room gladly, almost certian that any second Zanna would wake screaming, swearing and chucking things. The door was shut safely, and Aurora twitched. She still had a hole-less back.
Then she blinked again. "Dinner? Um..." Well, Aurora did have time, she'd left early because that damn clock had stopped ahd Aurora had thought it was working. And new people were always good to meet... "I suppose I can, if no one minds?"
