"Maaaybe." She smiled and grabbed his hand. The action made her face red. "Psh, I was joking. And how about the hotsprings? I doubt I can feel nervous there. Though I don't have a bathing suit with me. Do you think a towel would work?" She pulled her hat back over her head and pushed her bangs out of the way. "Ryan, would you feel guilty if I said I had a boyfriend." I wish I had a boyfriend. ...DAMN. "Ugh. Nevermind. Would you if I DID have a boyfriend? I'm just curious."

Ryan thought to himself for a second.
"A towel might work...And i wouldn't feel guilty because we're not doing anything really...if I were your boyfriend I wouldn't care if you were getting along with other guys..." Ryan smiled then let go of Jill's hand. Ryan nodded then walked out the door and smiled looking back at her.
"I'll be right back i'm going to go get my swim trunks..."

As Ryan walked down the stairs to his room he thought about jill and if he really had feeling for this girl. When he got to his room he took his dark blue swim trunks and locked the door. Ryan was soon right infront of the hotspring change room doors.

"To be honest, I really can't...it was simple deduction and guessing..." Long spoke in a rather miserly attitude as he turned his attention back to Daemen. By simply observing his eye reaction and the simple expression he could only assume, that the fighting was stupid or just meaningless and insignificant. He shrugged and an odd feeling of chill follow him around.

Yoshiro's mental specialty was to observe, analyze, and confirm the information gathered with a quiet in held conclusion. Long could only use this knack to an extent however, he couldn't really come to just one conclusion, especially when his blend of paranoia was thrown in then he would have to conclude based on another set of information. Concluding which decision was right was the only hard part.

Long could only smile, but his smile once again had this black hole feeling around him as if his eyes were absorbing all about him like it was 'just' information. This had an odd aura about the room now, the chilled feeling had lifted, but it left now something far more ominous in it's place...

"Oh, I'm starving." a woman could be heard saying. Rayna and Kylie sat down at a table in the cafeteria, both with trays of food set in front of them. Rayna smiled at her short-haired friend. "Me, too." she agreed, lifting a large slice of pepperoni pizza and taking a large bite, sighing contently, as it tasted heavenly. Kylie took a modest bite of hers, beaming. Both of them ate in silence, until Kylie set down her pizza and folded her hands in her lap, a solemn look on her rather beautiful face.

"Miss Rayna, you've known me for a long time." she stated. Rayna looked up as she was eating, nodding for her to continue. She was taking a drink of her Coke when Kylie said her next sentence. "You've also known Charlie for a long time." she said, making the fox girl choke on her drink. Rayna set her cup down slowly, hitting her chest with her fist as she cringed, clearing her throat. She hadn't expected Kylie to bring him up. Before she could say anything, though, Kylie spoke up again. "Why did you and Charlie break up?" she asked.

Kisa had walked in after the other two had, and tucked a lock of chocolate brown hair behind her ear. She murmured something about her hunger under her breath and ordered a large order of fries. She was about to sit down at the table but heard Kylie ask Rayna a question and held her breath with a bite of her lip. Ohh, man. Kisa thought, closing her eyes. She stepped a few times in place and then sat down about half a minute later.

"Hi, guys." She said in a sickeningly fake-cheery voice. The tall girl took her contacts out and put them back in the container in her purse. She reached out and grabbed a fry, placing it in her mouth and taking a bite. Damn, these are still hot.

Rayna was about to answer, until Kisa sat down next to Kylie. "Oh, hello Kisa." she said cheerfully, trying to get Kylie to change the subject. "I trust you've been well." she said, nodding to her as she was about to take another bite out of her delicious pizza. But she stopped, mouth agape and pizza right in front of her mouth when she saw Kylie giving her a stern, angry stare. "Miss Rayna, answer my question." she said, not looking over to greet Kisa. She made a mental note to apologize later on.

Rayna sighed, setting her pizza down on her plate as her eyes were on the table. She had a calm, collected look on her face, if any emotion at all. "I've told you already. We fell out of love with each other." she said coldly, not looking up at the angry girl across the table from her. "Lies." Kylie spat. "I know that's not the reason. You two just got in another fight, a fight you guys always got into." Kylie was shaking by now. Rayna looked up at the blonde, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

"So, Kisa..." she tried changing the subject again. Kylie slammed her hands on the table, glaring at Rayna, who jumped. "Kisa, you remember the fights Rayna and Charlie would get in?" she asked, not looking at her.

Kisa flushed, not wanting to be in the conversation. Her teal eyes narrowed at the table. "W-well yes, but I don't think anybody's very confortable in this situation... Especially not Rayna, I'm assuming..." The brunette looked over at Rayna. She didn't look happy. Kisa looked at Kylie. She was furious from the looks of it. She dropped her head and ate another fry, not daring to mention they were good. "Maybe you should calm down, Kylie..." The teal-eyed young woman stared at the ceiling, trying not to get into the conversation anymore than she already had.

"And I don't think I need to be part of this conversation," She murmured coldly, not expecting them to hear. She just wanted to hear it for her own satisfaction that she stated her opinion.

Kylie's shoulders slumped as she sighed in defeat, her face falling. "I'm...extremely sorry, miss Kisa." she muttered. "I just can't believe that miss Rayna fell out of love with my brother." she said, giving Kisa an apologetic smile. Rayna stared at her pizza for some time, pondering over what Kylie had said. "I..." she started, looking up at her. "I really do still...don't I?" she asked, chuckling a bit as she smiled sadly. Kylie looked over at her sympathetically. "I'm sorry, miss Rayna." she whispered, making Rayna shake her head, her epression going blank again.

"It's fine. As long as he's happy." she said sternly, as if she were trying to convince herself. Taking a drink of her pop once more, she set the cup down and smiled politely at Kisa. "So, what's happened with you? I see you're not with that guy anymore. I remember meeting him the first day I came to Ria. Met you at the same time." she said, meaning the guy she and Kisa had reencountered with when they came to Mirandal. "Funny, we all met at the same time, like the first time...in a courtyard, even." she chuckled. For some reason, Rayna seemed different- she was more mature, more in control of her emotions, like she could shut them off somehow. And for some reason...she seemed distant. She took another bite of her pizza.

"That is strange. Who is this guy?" Kylie asked Kisa, hoping it wasn't too touchy of a subject.

Kisa looked back down. "Nani?" She started at both silently. "Oh. Shepard?" She took a sip of her pop that she had ordered and waved her hand vertically. "Ah, we were together in Ria for about half a year." She smiled and stared at the table. "Yeah, but then he left for... s**t, I don't remember. Something dumb with 'to protect you' in it." She laughed again and ate a few more fries. She sounded like a b***h, she knew. But whatever.

"Shepard was like, an alien. Or something. I liked him, but he had extremely strong feelings for me. But, the whole alien thing kind of turned me off. He was always fighting whatever. It depressed me. I came to Mirandal not knowing he was here. I had considered us broken up, but when he saw me again, I couldn't say something like that. Y'know?" She leaned back with a sigh.

"I never wanted to break him. No, nothing like that. But I guess, getting involved that fast wasn't the right move for me." Kisa reached into her purse and pulled out her contacts container. She put her cyan-coloured contacts back in and blinked a few times, looking up and Kylie and Rayna.

Rayna nodded in understanding as she wiped the pizza sauce from the corner of her mouth. "I see..." she said quietly, setting her napkin down. "Yeah, getting involved that fast...then again, everyone's becoming like that nowadays, hmm?" she said, Kylie nodding. Rayna looked up at Kisa, leaning on the table. "So he was an alien, hmm?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. "He didn't seem like one...well, he was a bit weird, but..." she trailed off, staring off into space. Kylie grinned to herself, taking a small bite of her pizza and swallowing it.

"Good thing I haven't dated anyone since I was sixteen." she stated. Rayna was pulled back into reality and scoffed, rolling her eyes. "But people have asked you out." she said, smirking. Kylie shrugged. "I know. But I haven't dated. None of those guys seem right for me." she replied. She turned to Kisa. "So, where did you go after Ria?" she asked her.

Kisa smiled as the two talked before it was directed back at her. "I... lived in an apartment for a year and then I came here. Not much to say. Got money from my parents and got a job. I missed Ria a lot. Everybody was really cool there." She wiped her mouth free of grease and salt, continuing to talk. "Though I lived with Asuka. She was working at the zoo. Surprisingly, not in a cage. Though, I teased her about it. Y'know, because she has neko features. I didn't date or anything either. Too busy with my jobs and stuff."

Kisa finished off the last of the fries and then jumped slightly. "Oh, and I didn't learn much at Ria. So, when I left into the real world, there was only 1 job available to me; Prostitution." Kisa gulped down the rest of her soda.
PostPosted: Wed Jan 03, 2007 5:17 am

Daemen took a small sip from his soda, just enough to wet his lips. "That's pretty cool. To be able to guess what a person was thinking just by looking at their expression and movements."

He returned the smile. He had felt a strange chill a moment ago. But then again, being part cat, these kind of things are picked up quite often. He didn't question it, or shrug it off; he just let it hang there until it was gone.

Now he could feel a slight... what is the word? Discomfort? He mentally shook it off.

"I can minipulate water. But that is about it other than being part cat." he said looking up at his black cat ears resting permanatly on the top of his head.

"Hehehe....having an analytical mind is not an ability....it's just....a hobby..." Long laughed completely mocking his self intelligence. He had his hands in his pocket, but apparently Long's uniqueness wasn't in his mental ability, Long had yet to reveal himself at Mirandal University. He shrugged off his laugh as his facial expression returned to that of only but a cold and stoic glance. It was now just now a face of a staring tv zombie character...Completely undaunted and absorbing.

"I don't need to know your name because you don't need to know mine, it's unimportant... Thank you for the conversation..."Long said as he noticed a review report about a missing persons report and quietly turned and left. He opened the door and quickly slammed it behind him as he walked off. Attention was something Long didn't want at the moment.

Both Rayna's and Kylie's pair of eyes widened at the word prostitution, Rayna choking on her drink once more. "What?" Kylie asked, blinking. Once Rayna caught her breath, she sighed. "Wow..." she said quietly, glancing over at her. "Must've been hard..." she muttered, nibbling at her pizza. "Rayna stayed with Charlie and myself at the inn our family runs over the summer, before we came here." Kylie told Kisa. Rayna's eyes suddenly twinkled, an idea popping into her head. "Say, Kylie..." she started, getting the blonde's attention. "You could always offer her a summer job there, if she needs it." the fox-eared girl pointed out. Kylie's face lifted as she smiled at Kisa.

"That's a wonderful idea! How about it? We can't really work during the school year- it's too far away. But summer jobs are perfect." she informed her happily.

"I WASN'T A PROSTITUTE." Kisa demanded, but realized they had changed the subject. She sat back down after she had stood up and pounded her fist on the table, smiling at the two. She had always been a fairly good at changing moods. "A summer job, you say?" Kisa considered it in her mind and then nodded.

"I guess that sounds good. I'm kind of a crappy worker though." She laughed nervously and played with the empty can of pop in front of her.
