Devvyl had stood, motionless, as the strange marked wolf appeared, and had stood motionless as he and Hige wrestled across the forest floor. As much as the alpha would have liked to rip the stranger off his adopted son and throw him across the packlands back to the unclaimed territory, he refrained; both out of uncertainty and the feeling that this was Hige's fight.
When all was said and done and the two wolves were seperated, Devvyl quickly but quietly interjected. His hackles were raised, and he stepped toward the trespasser dangerously. After all, he had come so far into claimed territory as to reach the pack's dens, and the land stunk of Devvyl and his packmates. And his pups were in the den only a few feet off. What the hell is going on? He eyed the stranger angrilly, his eyes glinting. You do realize you are trespassing upon my pack's lands?

He looked up to Devvyl, continuing to frown up at anything that came near him. He wanted to stay near Loki, but knew he'd be taken away from her this time..and vice versa, she'd be taken again as well. "I do have a pack...and a mate." He mumbled against the fur of her neck, ignoring the alpha for the most part. He turned his head away from the two males, his back arched and his tail and head lowered in the respects he was supposed to give.
"I do, Devvyl." He knew him, from Feanaro's stories. And he knew Selia, she was a mother now..how could he have not smelt that. He pulled back from Loki, and would stand, moving to stand directly in front of the Alpha. "Devvyl," he smirked at him, "I had a promise to help kill you to Feanaro. But that is insane, and I know, for now, that you are a kind wolf that merely saved your best friend, and mate." He bowed his head, the ache in his chest causing him to flinch slightly, but not away from the alpha.
"My apologies to you for coming into your lands and attacking your kin." He had changed...Lexi had changed him, Loki had as well...Haku, Lera, Gizmo..Even Sable, whom was dead and gone.

She nodded but didn't say anything, and sat as Gaara turned towards Devvyl. She knew he wouldn't do anything rash and try to attack the bigger male, and would show as much respect as deserved. She sighed inwardly, the mixed emotions were confusing and disheartening at the same time. It would be worthless to ask Gaara to come with them now, though she still would extend the kindness, just in case there was a glimmer of hope. She sat working it over in her brain for a long time, not really paying attention to what was going on around her. Was there any possible way that she could have her own pack at the beach and still be with her little boy?

[] Sorry, guys, but I gotta get Gaara and Selia movin'. xD So, I'm going to time skip. A few hours, is all.[]
He'd look of his Mother, and give a weak smile, before nuzzling under her jaw softly..He knew about them leaving, now, and would move after them with Lexi later on to find their own territory near Loki and Hige. He looked to Hige, who was pretty much his father, and smiled a bit more, though it was a forced, unhappy smile. "I hope to see all of you later--" He was cut off by Selia, who exitted the den with Yang, who yipped along at her heels.
"I'm going with you, I need to see my brother." She commanded, and looked down to Yang, "He insists on coming," she smiled, and looked to her mate with a soft gaze. "I'll be back withing seven suns," she mumbled, and moved over to him to softly nuzzle his neck fur with a quiet Mrr. "Take care of the little ones," she whispered, and nipped his ear. Looking to Loki and Hige, she smiled to both of them. "You two, along with the others, have a safe trip. Come and see us when you've settled," she gave a final nuzzle to each, before looking to Gaara. "Is this okay with you? I will go on my own if you want."
He nodded, (This is fun, RPin' with myself xD) and would turn around slowly to lead her back towards his homelands. "I'll come back, Loki. You two be careful, there's a large storm coming." He would smile, and watch as Selia picked Yang up by the scruff securly, before bolting off in the direction of his home...his mate, his family. He had no regrets in coming to see his Mother, and newly found Father. He'd come back--one day.

Hige had grimaced, watching the scene between Devvyl and Gaara. He'd wanted to interject but for once thought it more wise to stay out of it first. As Gaara explained himself, Hige simply listened.
He wanted to apologize, but he wasn't certain if he should wait or not. It had been Selia's decree that kept Gaara from the pack, according to Loki ((since Hige didn't actually overhear that conversation)). Apologizing for something that they couldn't help would just seem redundant and put Gaara on the spot. It wasn't like he could just say "it's okay" and be done with it.
He'd give it some time, maybe the next time they met....
He smiled a bit himself, slightly pained. He hoped that the next time he saw Gaara it would be on easier terms, and feeling a slight bit anxious, he turned to look at Loki, signifying they should move out as well to find the others. He looked to Devvyl after this.
"We've got to find Balan, and speak with Shilah in the freelands still... We'll be back through after that." He had not yet recieved an answer from Thayne, but with Feanaro off to find the manpups again Hige wanted to hurry. He didn't want to have to venture into the brown males territory to talk to the three pups. He wouldn't risk an uneeded confrontation on the older male's grounds.
He mentally shook his daze and padded to Loki, nudging her muzzle lightly with his own.
"Come on," He called, and turned, leading her in the direction of the freelands. They'd both get a chance to give their proper goodbies to the others when they returned.

Loki sat listening to Gaara and Devvyl talk. Somehow she knew everything would be ok, and sat relaxing for a moment. She nodded to Selia and big her goodbyes, and, if wolves could cry, would have bawled as she watched her "baby" run in the other direction. Of course she would see him again some day, possibly even soon - it was more probably since his pack's alpha was dear Selia's brother - but she couldn't help missing him.
She yawned and stretched, and almost jumped when she felt a muzzle come in contact with her own. She nodded to Hige and followed, hardly being able to keep her excitement in check.
