Rivera sighed. "That was a failed attempt at a child..." She nuzzled his ear, whispering softly. "My monthly flow was last week... I forgot... but Chloe won't be getting us from up there..." It didn't matter which way it was looked at. She was no longer a virgin, and she is no longer a priestess. Chloe no longer had power. Furthermore, she regained the remaining love she had for Kira. "Who would've thought... that we could've just defeated her this simply? We should've tried this in the beginning." She nipped his earlobe gently.

"I actually don't remember much of it. Just that something... clicked... and I remembered what 'love' meant." Rivera replied, wrapping her arms around Kira's neck. She wanted him by her and never to leave her. "I think it was the best experience of my two millenia long life-death-being-a-zombie-time-period..." She giggled softly, licking his cheek with the tip of her tongue.

Her cellphone suddenly rang and broke the moment... At first, she ignored it, but the damned thing won't shut up. It went on emergency ringtone the second time and she picked it up.

"Hello? Osprey? Yeah... what? Uh-huh... crap... yes, I was... uh... sleeping... yeah, fine... I'll check it out later..." There was a pause... "You don't have to put it so bluntly! Isn't there an etiquette rule or something for mindreading over the phone?" She hung up on him and sank down next to Kira again. "That can wait till later..."

"Not blab? Heh... by the end of today, everyone in the alliance will know." She smirked. "There's no use telling him to shut up about it. He doesn't talk, but Kestrel does, and Kestrel reads minds really well." Rivera snuggled even closer to him. "Osprey wants me to check out the DNA components later. He thinks that he's got the Constellation HQ traced out. That can wait though..." She gently nipped his neck, drawing a tiny speck of blood, which was licked up with a gentle tongue. "I swear... that was the most fun I've had in I don't know how long..."

"That's better than being destroyed by a goddess." Rivera ran a hand along his body, admiring how perfectly molded it was despite whatever scars were put on him through their strange adventures... imperfection in its highest degree. She loved it. She was quite tired now, and would like nothing more but to cuddle up with him and fall asleep with his soft feathers and arms around her. Rivera pulled the covers up over her shoulders, which was over his chest or so, and leant her head into the crook between his head and shoulder.

Vesper could no longer stay in the human realms with Chloe powerless. Rivera saw her off a while ago... and it was quiet without the Draclite. She didn't particularly miss her because of the lack of time spent with her... but the Alliance wasn't going to like that they lost another valuable member of their organization. Oh well. She'll just tell them that she was KIA or something... fell into a volcano sounds pretty good.

She was curled up on the couch, staring at the blank wall. She didn't have a TV, deeming it to be useless and all. It was cold... and being more... human now, the chills easily got to her. Really, it should be more 'atlantean' but, that wouldn't make much sense in common knowledge. In any case, she wrapped herself in a heavy, blue and black blanket. The textbook was open in front of her. She didn't want to read any further. She was tired.

"I don't know what's wrong..." She whispered softly, kissing him back on the lips, wrapping her arms around him. "I feel like I'm tired all the time... I was training yesterday, and I barely had the strength to go through the Crescent Moon passes with Kairyu... I used to be able to do it flawlessly..." Rivera rubbed her eyes. "I can't even study. I was good at studying... I can usually remember something if I see it twice... nothing's sinking in..."

"Chloe has nothing to do with it... the Atlantean Pillar must not be absorbing enough surrounding energy or something... It's probably been really calm around there lately... Oh well... it should wear off." She snuggled close to him, the blanket still wrapped around her partially. She liked the comfort of a blankie. It made her feel really secure. Kira being there secured the... security. A double security must be better than a single one.

Rivera rolled over a bit so she was partially lying on top of him. She didn't give anyone but Kira the privelige of touching her back. Heck, she doesn't even let most people lay eyes on it. The scars across her spine were morbid and grosteque, her first memory of intercourse in her old body imprinted all over her, a signature from an old enemy that boasted his violation of Aeterranchise's royal blood. She hated to be reminded of it... but when Kira was there, she never minded. He never seemed to mind her map of scars. "What should we do then...? There's nothing to do on this campus..."
