Maeniel was still smling as they approached the wheel of carts and looked across the sky to see the moon out. "Now that is beautiful," he said pointing at the moon and smiling, his eyes were lite up with the moons beams as he gazed at it. It was always a fascinating sight, the moon, a beautiful light caught only in that one glode of dust. He smiled and looked back to Kana, "the biggest moon I've seen all year," he said happily.

Kana tilted her head back, staring up as well to try and see what he was describing. She saw the moon and fell silent, smile fading as she stared almost blankly. Then she nodded, a softer smile spreading across her face. "Yeah..." she agreed quietly, tail curling around her waist. She blinked, snapping herself out of the slight daze, and turned to face him curiously. "It is?"

Maeniel nodded and laughed abit, "or maybe the largest sober one I have seen," he said laughing more. He had been a very heavy drinker recently due to his regeane death and that was exactly 5 hundred years ago tonight, it was why he was half drunk when he met Kana. "Well its outr turn," he said dissmissing it and looking to the now opened cage, "after you," he said half bowing and smiling again.

Kana looked at him expressionlessly for a moment. Sober... She really wasn't a fan of drinking, and she could smell alcohol on him, but she wasn't going to say anything. Nope! No way. So instead she bowed back to him, smiling as she slipped past and plopped down in the cage. "Ok!" she cried, one hand in the air. "Let's go!"

Maeniel nodded with a happy smile and entered the wheelcart. He closed the cage behind him and felt a jolt as they started to go up slowly, another cart was filled with two peeple. "This isnt too bad," he said with a smile to Kana, "its not too bad at all really," he assured himself as they rose higher as more carts were filled with more people.

Kana nodded, actually up with her knees in the seat as she peered over the edge. She was leaning out dangerously far, but she guessed that with the control of her powers, her fear of heights had vanished completely. If she fell, she could simply catch herself. Of course, that would only happen if she managed not to hit anything and to stay focused enough to help herself. She blinked, pushing away the thought quickly. Even still, she didn't seat herself any better, and still leaned out rather far, staring around at everything.

Maeniel was looking outward at the other rides and people laughing and joking with one another about one being scared and another being stupid and another being actually fun. It all was so happy around this place, maeniel felt he could get used to this. All fun and games for once and nothing serious.

After a moment, Kana withdrew slightly and rested her arms on the edge of the cart, her chin set lightly upon them. Her tail was flicking absently side to side behind her as she stared out at everything, and then closed her eyes for a moment. She was strangely at ease, considering she was trapped in a small space with a wolf who smelled of alcohol. Oh well.

But then she suddenly froze, eyes opening wide. "I-I forgot it!" she cried, grabbing at her neck, only to find the necklace wasn't in place. She turned to face him, her eyes actually already with tears in them. She looked horrified. She bowed her head low as she began rambling, panic-stricken. "I forgot my necklace somewhere!" she cried. "I have.. I have to go look for it! I'm sorry!"

And without a second's hesitation, she bolted right over the side of the cart, plummeting downwards until a suddenly wind picked her up, catching her before she hit so her feet just lightly touched the grass. Though, as soon as she made contact with the ground, she took of sprinting towards the courtyard.

"....?!" was the only sound Long spoke, which was rather speechless breadth. He was very surprised that Rin spoke a response that seemed different from the usual Rin, and that she caught his attention by total surprise. He only smiled as as he then came to the middle of the park and set Rin down rather gently.

"Your...very lucky I didn't let you drop..." Long said as he then stood up and scratched his head slightly. He glanced over at Rin, "Are you alright?" Long said as he glanced over at Rin, even though he was the one that ate the cement and ran clear off course.

"Cause if you are...We can continue!" Long spoke quietly before he shouted his already given response and answer as he gave a kid-like wave and dashed off down and around the path that outlined the lake. As soon as he reached the other side, he would begin the second half the way to the training facility.

Rin blinked, glancing down at him when he didn't say anything. She watched him silently for a moment, waiting for something to happen, but they, or rather, he continued running until they'd come to about the center of the park. She blinked, and found herself back upon her feet. She just calmly smoothed down her skirt, and then glanced up at him after a pause.

"I know. Thanks," she replied with a shrug. It looked like she didn't care, but she really was thankful. It would not have been very fun to be dropped while going that fast. She highly doubted she would've landed on her feet, and she wasn't as indestructable as Long seemed to be. She nodded at his next question, and was about to ask him if he was ok, when he suddenly shouted and sahed off.

She froze for just a split second, and then quickly darted after him. "Gah, no fair!" she protested, though he had said there were no rules. She hurried after, having had time to catch her breath that she had started to lose.

"To be honest...You gotta play by the rules!....WAIT, NEVER MIND THERE ARE NO RULES!" Long said as he called back to Rin and lightly wave to her as he continued on curving around the bend as he then turned his attention back to where he was running almost into the mud by the edge of the lake. He took a sharp pivot to the side and then moved to the grassy knoll and then dashed his way through there.

"Whew..that was close.." Long said to himself as he followed the road once more with his eyes focused on the way to the facility, a few more dozen yards and he would reach the road that lead to the training facility.

Rin frowned to herself, nose wrinkling very slightly in frustration. He was so much faster than her, and she didn't want to play the penalty game! She had no clue what it was. Her hopes leapt when he almost ran into the mud around the lake, but sank again when he managed to avoid it. She glanced around for something to throw again, but didn't see anything.

So instead she just stuck to the path, so she could avoid running into any trees or lakes or something else as hazardous, and instead just chased after him. Though, at one point the road bent needlessly, and she finally ventured off, running in her socks through the grass as she cut a turn. She was careful to avoid any mud though. It hadn't rained recently, had it? She didn't think so...

But no sooner than this thought passed through her head, then she hit a patch of slick grass, and her feet slid right out from under her. Though, she somehow managed to fall forward rather than back, and the momentum of her fall actually led to her doing a sumersault, rolling heels over head on the grass. Then she promptly jumped back to her feet, face lightly flushed. She was wearing a skirt, after all. She didn't need to be doing flips, and she didn't really need to be running either. She had mud on her hands now from pushing herself back up, and a leaf or two in her hair. And she'd just taken a shower too... But all the same, she continued running.

[exams tomorrow. Gotta go. Dx]

((Ganbatte! [do your best!] ))

Long turned his head in time to see that Rin somersaulted forward and somehow tilted his head in curiousity. He smiled and ran back, and promptly came to stop her. He figured now the race was already decided for itself, but he was kind enough to stop when enough was enough. He looked at Rin's hair and pulled out several leaves with his two fingers like picking out something slimy or weird to hold in your palms. He then turned his attention to her hands that were slightly muddy shifting between them and the fountain in the dorm park.

"I think that's enough, the lesson is over...The race was a ploy, so you don't have to worry," Long said as he glanced over at Rin. He smirked lightly and observed her facial expression for a moment. Her face was alittle red as he could still see. He then glanced over at the fountain and then back at Rin.

"So...What did your brain obsorb this time?" Long said as he was referring to the brain coffee or the complete obsorption of insight. In other words, he was wondering if Rin had reached self-actualization this time, "What do you think I was trying to tell you this time?" .

[Homg. I'm so tired. But I'm done with math! <3]

Rin blinked, coming to an abrupt halt when he stopped her. She watched him uncertainly, nose wrinkling as he plucked leaves from her hair. Her freshly washed but yet again dirty hair... She hesitated when he started towards the fountain, and then slowly followed after him. Though, when he spoke she stopped instantly.

She just fixed him with a stare, a mixture of surprise and agitation. She'd done all of that for nothing?! Not to mention, she felt very stupid at the moment after falling like she had. She mumbled something incoherent under her breath, and then frowned at him.

A moment's more pause, and she wandered towards the fountain, dunking her hands in and scrubbing them off. She thought quietly to herself, eyes now focused upon the water and the cleaning of her hands. Luckily, her clothes didn't seem dirty at all... well, except for her socks.

She was going to ignore him, and almost did, but then finally spoke up after recalling she was the one who'd asked what they were going to do next in the first place. "...be aware of your surroundings?" she guessed randomly. "And try to use them to your advantage in some way...?" She glanced at him, then back to the water.
