Alex turned his attention back down from the sky to Warren. "Oh things are just going good", he droned off a bit, sounding a bit more relaxed than someone should, which was mostly the fact he had the rum to blame.

He looked over to Alys as he was poked then looked back. "Oh, right, I'm Alexander Barret, ex-cargo pilot & owner of Pan Pacific Cargo. Its nice to meets ya." Alex sat up a bit and held out the bottle of rum to Warren. "Care for a drink? I gotta keep this stuff from Alys or she's gunna be a total wreck."

"As for the rest of that stuff, we're all in for a dah bien-hwa and there's not much we're gunna be able to do about it with Sabin or Moreau around. Fahng-sheen about it." Maybe poor Alex has had a bit too much, because he's starting to ramble off chinese in the middle of the conversation.

Warren stood up and looked between Alex and Alys, smiling a little "I'm Warren, used to be just some computer tech for a boring company" Warren lied, he certainly wasn't going to tell the truth about what his real job was.
"You know, you both make an interesting couple" He watched the rum bottle getting passed back and forth, and offered to him "Sorry, I don't like drinking straight rum, though next time we meet at the beach bar i'll certainly drink up" Warren scratched his scalp, right near where his horns broke the skin

Couple? What? Where? Huh?

Alys gave a confused blink as she looked at Warren, blinking again, "Couple? ... OhohOH! Haha... We aren't a couple..." She said, taking another swig from the rum.

"Alright, no problem, more rum fer us!" She grinned, "I think if you look around there could be other drinks around the place."

She stuck her tongue out at Alex, "You said no more, but my drink says to brain more!"

Alex snickered a bit, and then looked to Warren. "I already made that joke at her expense." He then tilted his head some, as he pondered the question posed to them about what has fur, scales, and horns. It was probably something that would be more easily answered without alcohol but hey, couldn't help that fact.

"Well, sounds like Sabin gotta hold of ya alright", he said not sure what the answer was so that sounded sensable.

Warren shook his head, looking at Alex a bit to try and figure out what he was changing into, and spotted a couple feathers in his hair. "at least looks like you're turning into a bird of somekind...and no Alys, I haven't asked the labs or checked the books about it, I'm not sure if I want to know what Sabin's twisted imagination has picked out for me" Warren ran a hand over his horns, ears and to his neck, still almost not entirely believing it was possible for this to have happened, but somehow that tail of his made it all too real

"Nope! I figured I'll wait until I change again. If I grow another set of tentacles, then it's a squid, if not, then it's an octopus," she nodded, realising she was slipping off the tree, but she just couldn't react to it.

And so she fell, landing on her back with a wince. But that turned into a giggle, and then a chuckle, and then laughter mixed with random hiccups.

"I've fallen and I don't wanna get up!" She rested her hands on her semi-bare stomach. Tentacles bobbing to some unheard tune.

Alex shook his head and set the bottle aside as he slowly moved to stand up. "I told you that you'd hurt yourself Alys, if you kept on drinking like that..." He shook his head a bit more as he chuckled. "Maybe we should be getting you away from the alcohol before you find out what that fishie form of yours does when you get hammered too badly..."

Warren rubbed his hand after letting Alys go, not used to the sensation of having tentacle suckers stuck to him. "well thats good you're doing alright there" Warren's tail curled itself around His left leg, making him wince slightly at the feeling as he used a hand to remove it. "sometimes seems like this thing has a mind of it's own"
