::New Details on Resident Evil 5::

Gamespot recently posted a interview with chief of Capcom Research & Development division, Keiji Inafune. He says there hoping to release Resident Evil 5 on the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3. He didn't tell us a release date, but he did mention theres going to be some online features in the game. Below is the interview and the link to the site. Enjoy!
Quote: In an interview published in Xbox360ism (a special edition of Dorimaga), Capcom Research & Development division chief Keiji Inafune said he expects Resident Evil 5 to be released simultaneously on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 if possible. "We want to grow the Resident Evil series into a multi-platform franchise, so we hope to release it simultaneously [on the two next-generation consoles]," Inafune told Xbox360ism. "But since we don't know the launch period for the PS3 yet, so it's hard to say [if we can]." Inafune also revealed that Resident Evil 5 will feature online elements, although he did not elaborate.

::Minor Resident Evil 5 Announcement::
Worthplaying interview Publishing Coordinator Robert Hamiter on Capcom's new zombie game titled "Dead Rising". Throughout the interview he mentions Resident Evil 5 being another game they are devloping for the 360, but Dead Rising is the game Capcom is currently developing extensively for the XBOX 360 throughout the year of 2006.
So my predictions are they we won't see Resident Evil 5 come out until the begining of 2007. Check out the link below to read the interview.

::Rumors Regarding Resident Evil 5::
Rumors have been going around that new information has been posted in the new Famitsu magazine. Here's what they said will appear in the game:
-There will be 4 main characters in the game and will travel in groups of two using the zapping system (like Resident Evil 0). -New enemies in the game. No ganados or zombies. A new breed of the dead. -Item box will appear again and and the classic opening door cinema on certain areas. -There will be a heat meter beside your health and if not lowered with water, your character will start to hallucinate. -They're saying the plot will follow Resident Evil Code Veronica with some new twists and terrors.
Just a reminder that these are simply rumors and Capcom nor Famistu have Official said these are true. Perhaps we can cross our fingers. Check out the link below to see for yourself.

::More Rumors on Resident Evil 5::
As you may or may not have heard, the rumors from the last update were untrue. Now with a recent interview with Keiji Inafune (Dead Rising), He mentions Resident Evil 5 in the interview and keeps on describing it as a "serious zombie game". Believe it or not, but coming from a person who has worked with Resident Evil, says zombies may re-appear in this game. As we know, Keiji Inafune is not currently working on Resident Evil 5, but this is the 1st inside access we have had in awhile. Below is the link to the interview.
