Jewlz2007 By Waco do you mean Robinson? My bf is going, along with I think 6 or 7 other people from our school. I didn't make it, but I did make the concert band. It was fun. My favorite song we played was called "Havendance", was anyone else there? no, but last year our all-city played "Havendance". thats a really cool piece. but the band was not as great from 3rd or even 2nd chair down in every section, except for the flutes. i got miserably bumped down to 7th chair by many seniors and juniors.

Basically half the people going to area are from our band because our region is hooooorrible xp 27 total... sax...

Jewlz2007 What region? We just changed region, this one isn't as good as the one we were in... Ummm...not sure what region...but it has Vista Ridge, Lake Travis, Burnet, and Lampasas...few others that I don't know.

(1-101317 (Wietinkle) (1-101317 (Wietinkle) Area... I'm going too!! Eb Contrabass clarinet!! But it doesn't sound like anyone is in my Area?? I'll be going to Abilene for tryouts!! In February.... Actually its on the 6th of January!! (1-101317 (Wietinkle) Cool... I learned how to play the tenor this summer!! Not that its the alto... but just saying!!

Here, too, last year one of the region bands played Havendance. Plus, we played that in Jr. High. ^_^ it was mucho fun.

got 3rd at area today...I'll take it, but knew i could've won the room. I expected to be blown away by the competition, but I actually stood a chance...ah well, maybe next year rolleyes xd

I got first in area...!! Yay! I recorded afterwards for state... and I don't know what I got in state but I know it was lower than 3rd!! Freaking lady said they picked 4 instruments... 3 were taken!! i'm depressed... i completely f'd up my all-city auditions. well i guess that say s how well i might have done if i'd tried out for region because they decided to use the same music.
