I think there should be a subform for just free art because in the main there are some other things. Also there could be a sticky for birthdays so they can get free art if some one wants to do that for some ones B-day. ^^

...The main forum is for free art, and free art only. Any threads for other purposes are moved to other forums. =/
And there is a birthday sticky in the general discussion forum for that exact purpose.

I'm not sure as to whether or not this idea has already been submitted, but I honestly don't feel like going through all 80+ posts just to find out ( stare and don't say that most of you wouldn't feel the same way now stare ).
Anyways, I've seen this done for drawings and even suggested it to a faction in GT that makes amv's and it worked out very well in both scenarios. Basically you make a piece of art however you want and then post it. People can then download it, edit it, then post their version of it. Then afterwards the process repeats itself.
In a way you could call this a knockoff of "chain letters", but without the:
"do blah or you'll have bad luck for fifteen years."
"do blah or the ghost will come and scar you for life in ways that you wouldn't want to know at night"
and so forth.
