Word bump seems to be a good way to make steady gold, especially up in the higher levels.

yes, but i don't especially like playing it confused
i had a go yesterday, first time in a long while, couldn't get into it at all, i was feeling pressured to make words and there was nothing available from the letters above the gold squares, so i gave up evil

You can use one letter from above the gold squares, and make the rest of the word using any of the other letters (even the ones ON the gold squares, which never disappear! Even while they're at the top!)

yeah i know, but it's no help when the tiles are getting closer to the bottom and you can't get rid of the ones above them gonk

Well, I've simply assumed what I had been doing before this new change in gold making took place. I am not earning 2k a day anymore so it's going to take longer to save for anything. I probably could earn that much again but I would have to take 2 times the polls if not more since you don't get gold for them after 10 or so and posting gets one gold if I am lucky.

I notice that I'm getting slightly more gold for polls than I did earlier.. used to be about 8g per poll until I ran out, and now maybe the first 10 polls give me 10g-13g and then it starts dropping. The total number of polls before I get to 2g and 1g seems about the same. Slight change..
