My God! Thought Annabelle Lee, in total consfusion and utter distaste. The girl eyed McCallahan, and became very wary of him. What if he got mad at her? Would he threaten to kill her, just as he did this nice girl!? Suddenly, Annabelle was filled with fear as she looked upon the Captain she once looked fondly upon. "C-Captain!" She said; half in shock and half in fear. She scooted away from him, and looked upon the crushed girl. She looked young- possibly nineteen, or younger! How could he be so cruel? She raised a hand to her chest, and inhaled deeply as she looked upon Aiden with fear. As she looked back to the lovely little girl, her spirits drooped. Annabelle knew it; she could see it in this girl's eyes. This fiesty girl knew that Annabelle had the consumption.
"Wait!" Annabelle screamed, nearly hopping off the bed in attempts to catch the girl. Seeing that she had failed, Anna sighed heavily and returned to her bed. When Zaldeer left the room, it grew tense. Belle refused to say anything. She merely pondered. How could such a gentlemen treat a young girl in such an uncalled for way? When the white-haired woman returned, Annabelle felt compelled to strangle her as she put her hands on McCallahan. Was she jealous? Was it really him who needed the comforting?! Her fists clenched. She wanted to go away. Anywhere. She wanted to get away from this sick crew. How could they be so mean to this child? After all she'd gone through! Annabelle expected the Captain to be exited and joyful at the girl's enthusiasm. Instead he threatened to kill her! Was it in Annabelle's defense? Anger rose in the girl's breast, and she stood- fists clenched.
"I am not a child, Captain. I do not need to be hidden from an innocent girl like her. And I am most shocked that a gentlemen like you-" She pointed to McCallahan. "-would treat a girl with such anger that was in my favor. I may be sickly, but to yell at a girl like that was completely uncalled for and most distasteful. All she wanted was to speak with you, McCallahan. She wasn't trying to kill me." She now directed her attention to McCallahan. "That girl knew I had the consumption. She could have helped." Her eyes flared a bit, and she tried to relax. "I know the severity of what I am saying, but I will suffer the consequences for what I know is right. The both of you should be ashamed." With more anger thriving in her, Annabelle stormed out of the room and over to the corner. Once she was in the corner, she sat down upon some sort of barrell, and crosed her arms. The nerve!

Victoria raised an eyebrow at the now seemingly angry Annabelle Lee, moving slightly from her position against the doorframe to stand up straight, eyes dark with some negative emotion. Stalking forward a few steps, she only paused when she remembered the Captain's orders and moved no further.
The tanned woman drew a few calming breaths, looking to the Captain with a respectful nod of her head.
"Please pardon me words, Cap'n, but I feel they must be said."
With that, she returned her gaze to Annabelle, looking as stern as ever.
"You may not be a child, Miss Lee, but neither is she. And who knows if she is innocent or not. She carries a blade, was able to get on the ship without aid as far as we are aware, and could have very well been sent by an enemy as a spy, or paid to murder or get information." The woman's voice was like cold steel, her voice calm, but with an underlying tone of venom. She had pitied Annabelle, and thought that she had been likeable enough, and would seek her company because of the few people that would be able to assosciate with her while on board.
"And before you go any further with your accusations, take a moment to think. That women just entered a place on this ship that has been deemed off limits, and is not even a part of the crew, so, why should she be on the ship in the first place? She barged in here and rambled on and on, even going so far as to say that she would do herself physical harm to stay on this ship; and then, insofar as saying that we will not be rid of her."
Another pause and she took a deep breath once more, biting her tongue for a few good moments before speaking up again.
"Excuse my brashness, Miss Lee, and my apologies to you, Captain McCallahan, but I implore you, Annabelle, to think of your situation for a moment. You have the consumption, do you not? Even if she did have some way to help you, you have no way of knowing, and with the way she just charged in here, she puts herself at risk without realizing it."
Biting her lip, she looked to Aiden for a moment, feeling a bit guilty for being this stern with the girl, but she felt that it had to be done.
"I have spoken out of place for the second time now, Captain and I apologize to you with the utmost sincerity."
With that, she moved back to the doorway and stood outside the room, not knowing if the Captain wanted to speak with Annabelle alone or not.

Tia watched Tracey smiling abit, never not even James had tended to her wounds. She had always taken care of them herself, to her this was an amazing moment and only made her wish to be in his arms again stronger. "Im sure you wont get in to much trouble. It wasnt really your fault, she is not part of the crew yet and you tried to stop her, even though you didnt try to phisically." Tia watched as Penelope had run to the edge of the deck and was now crying."Future pirates these days truly worry me, crying over something like this is quite weak.... Thank you for tending to my wound Tracey, its really nothing for you to have to worry about though." Tia smiled trying not to blush she looked away from him and as she did she noticed another large ship docked at the island. Without thinking she took her hand from him and walke to the side of the deck that was the other ship. She looked at it for a moment before turning to Tracey. "That's no merchant ship, its to ready for battle. This could be a problem. We might want to tell the captain even though he has set the below decks off limits."

Tracey never looked away from Tia, he was either looking at her wound, or eyes. When she started to talk, he thought about what he had done. Sure it was weak of him not to just grab her away from going below deck, he deserved to be in trouble for it, he thought, and wondered just what the captain would do to him.
When she talked about future pirates, he finally looked at Penelope and turned back to Tia, "Most of them don't understand anything about ships or the rules, I think she may have learned not to ignore crew members of the ship your on. I believe that crying is a weakness, as well, if done in public." He didn't stress the word public too hard. He knew a lot of pirates that saw it as a weakness all the time and held things in. He wanted her to know that he wouldn't look down on her if she did have reason to cry.
When she spoke of him having no reason to worry, he was going to respond when she pulled her hand away and walked to the other side of the deck. He had seen the ship as well. He walked over to her, to get a better look at the ship, hoping to be able to identify it. He told her quietly, "I care about you; I'll always try to help you and worry a bit about your wellbeing." Then louder he spoke as he started to run for the stairs to below deck, "I am going to tell the captain, everyone, be smart about getting ready should it prove a threat. Don't look like we are ready to fire." He was the same rank as them, he had no business giving orders, so it was more a wise suggestion.
Making his way down to the restricted deck as fast as he could, he only stopped when he was on the last deck of the restricted deck, "Captain! An unknown vessel is in the area, its battle ready, not a merchant vessel from what I can tell." He waited for the Captain's orders on what to do.

The site of Penelope in tears had certainly proved that Aiden's anger had been ferocious enough to get his point across. As the tears continued to stream, the man turned away in an attempt to not go back on his word. The woman was certainly beautiful, dispite her flow of liquid pouring from her eyes. As he turned, he looked towards Annabelle, an expression of grief upon his face. The captain, though at very rare times, could be ferocious, but only when needed. If he could choose to remain in a more pleasureable mood, then he would.
Only when the sound of two pairs of footsteps were proof that both Penelope and Victoria had left the cabin did Aiden growl again and clench his fists tighter. "This day has certainly become something else.." Looking around, the captain had a faint smile upon his face. Through all of the stress, he understood that he was getting a worthy crew and that each experience only let him get to know them better and vice versa. Still somewhat frustrated, despite his cheeky grin, the man took a seat on a box next to Annabelle and then spoke quietly, "I apologise for the tone I-" But the captain was cut short as Annabelle began to screech.
Weary and becoming worn out, the man looked up to Annabelle as she rose, her own fists clenched tight and her expression deadly. Flaming eyes watched her carefully with curiousity as to what she was going to say. Sadly, the man worried both Annabelle and Penelope would both have to leave his ship. As Annabelle spoke, the man felt his blood boiling inside, though he remained calm for her favor. Stepping outside and in Annabelle's direction, the man spoke, "Return to your cabin at once. You will not leave that room under any circumstances. I do not wish for you to contaminate my ship." His voice was stern, though his eyes showed a great deal of worry and regret. "You have been given the choice to return to the isla or remain here. If you wish to remain here, it will be under your Captains terms.." the word captain was stressed.
Hearing the returning footsteps of Victoria and then hearing her begin to speak, the man quickly became quiet. It would certainly be a good choice of his to promote a certain pair of pirates to keep a better order upon his ship. The increased amount of deckhands would need to be both structured and trained somehow. As Victoria spoke, the man watched carefully between the two women. It had seemed that all Victoria said sounded fair and to the point and the man hoped Annabelle would view it in much of the same way. With a slight sigh, the man remained silent, until Victoria finished, apologised and left the area. At a later time, the captain would speak with the other woman.
Aiming to escort Annabelle back to her room as quickly as possible, the man tried to help her up and stand behind her to ensure she did not leave unless she wished to return to the island. Completely unrelated to what he had said earlier, though still needing to be discussed, Aiden spoke again, "I did not protect you from the girl. I was protecting the girl, and all of my crew, from becoming contaminated. It was a risk for me to save your life and bring you upon my ship, Annabelle. My actions are not in anger, but in absolute need. If you can not respect your captain and follow his wishes, then you will need to find another flag to sail beneath." It saddened the man to think that his crew already doubted him. This was not the type of crew he wanted.

After a bit of clean up, Luther had made his way down to the cabin's in order to dry himself off. He closed the door behind him and proceded to get undressed. His cloths were soggy and heavy, making it very hard for him to do much work. Luther took his cloths, starting with his shirt, in both hands and twisted them very tight, wringing out the excess water. After making sure to get his pants as well he threw the garments over a line he had hung with some rope.
Luther took up his blades and sat, naked, on his bedroll to examine them for damage. The water had not done much to the blades, as they had been sheathed. Still he removed each from its sheath and laid them out flat on the bed. He hung the sheaths next to his cloths, much like they had hung at his side. His boots he removed and set to the side, thinking he would put them on the upper deck to dry properly, cleaning barefoot shouldnt be a problem he thought.
Laying flat on his back next to his swords he stretched and rolled, poping his back. He stood for a moment, regaining the blood flow to his brain a little too quickly and wobbling on the spot, and proceded back to his clothing. Checking to see if they were yet dry enough to put back on, it was quite warm down here so he did not think it would be long. His shirt was mearly cool, a little damp, but his pants needed a bit more drying.
Luther pulled down his clothing regardless, thinking that the job he had done wringing them out would have to do. He didnt want to stay too long below deck and be thought to have abandoned his duty. He quickly put his damp shirt and sodden pants back on, replaced his belt and sheaths and grabbed his blades. Thinking twice he removed his sheaths again and hung them back on the wire, leaving his blades on the bed. He covered them with some cloth that had been laid out as a blanket, grabbed his boots and moved back out towards the deck.

Annabelle nodded sadly, tears now coming to her eyes. The Captain's harsh words stung her, and she wished that she would not have said anything in the first place. She rose, and walked back into her cabin. As she saw the way the Captain looked upon Victoria, jealousy knotted up in Annabelle's breast. Even though she was upset, she still felt some feelings for Aiden McCallahan. It seemed apparent that he only liked Victoria; she was perfect, wasn't she? She had beautiful hair, lovely eyes, a great outit, and she didn't have a deadly diesease. Annabelle wanted to apologize to McCallahan so she could restore some honor upon herself, but what could she say? She'd made a fool of herself, and was having strange feelings for a man that was nearly foaming at the mouth with anger for her."Jonathan.." Anna whispered, barely audible between sobs. She flung herself onto the crates she was forced to sleep upon, and wished to God that she did not have the consumption. She wished she was Victoria, that's it.
Once her sobbing had ceased, she wiped her eyes and sniffed, looking upon Captain McCallahan. "I am sorry, sir. I was being a stupid impudent girl, and I should not have said the things I did." Annabelle was frightened now. She wanted so badly to have a say, to say something in the Greek girl's favor. Anything. Nothing came to mind except, "Sir, would you please tell the girl why you were so violent with her? At least she would know that you were trying to protect her from me," She choked on the word 'me,' not believing that she had caused havoc once again. "and not trying to intentionally hurt her feelings. Compromise is a good thing, but-" She broke off again, biting her lip. "I'm sorry, I spoke out of place again." Annabelle said with a bit of remorse to her words. Maybe I should get off this ship. I can't stand being around people who are so cruel to others.. And I should take that poor girl with me. She meant no harm- and yet they treated her as if she were dirt. Captain or not, that was just plain cruel.
Annabelle then realized that she'd said Jonathan's name when she was crying minutes ago. It was true, she still loved him. But would she ever see him again? No, probably not. Besides; he'd hate her once her saw her. She deserted him after all, didn't she? But I miss him... Jonathan wouldn't treat a girl like that. But Jonathan was a human. This Captain is a Dragon-Kin. I suppose it's different. The Viking girl resumed her posture, and with a cream-colored hand, removed a few locks of hair from her face. She also wiped away the remaining crystals of grief that clung to her cheeks. What was she to do? McCallahan didn't even ask for her name! "I'm sorry, too, sir. I'll be sure to call you sir from now on. I'm not worthy enough to call you Captain, and Im sorry for speaking out of place in the girl's favor. If you really thought she was dangerous, than I suppose I should listen to you." Remarked the girl, her faint girlish charm returning to her, as well as the color to her cheeks. Her ruby lips parted as she drew in a deep breath. It would never be the same.

Aiden watched with great regret as Annabelle returned to her cabin unhappily. The manner in which she threw her body onto the organised crates gave off a loud thunk and reminded the man of behavior he often saw in children. With a light sigh, the man began after her, speaking gently, "I do not wish for your cabin to remain in this manner. Once the issues above deck are figured out, I will return with a bed roll and some other typical cabin equipment. As a pirate of Aurarius, you will be offered the same comfort as everyone else.." His voice trailed on as he looked out the door. No matter how he looked at it, it still felt wrong to keep the beautiful woman locked up, "..despite your location, Annabelle, you are not a prisoner. I hope I can make this clear to you with time.."
Hearing the words Annabelle managed to choke out, the man listened carefully, ensuring the woman knew he heard all she had to say. Nodding quietly, he respected her wishes and responded, "I will speak to her and explain why the events occured, but I will not allow her upon this ship with the same attitude she arrived with. This ship is my home and I do not wish to bring upon it those who will not respect it."
For someone who had previously been clenching his fists and speaking through gritted teeth, the site of teary eyed women had certainly forced the man to calm down. Reluctantly, he turned back around and returned to the door. Before he would leave completely, the man offered a few more words of what he felt might be comforting, "I will be leaving now to speak with the new deckhands on the top deck, as well as gather all of the remaining pirates from the island. In only but a few hours, I will return, but please do not leave your cabin-" The man could say no more as Tracey suddenly appeared before him, urgency on his face. "An unknown vessel?" McCallahan repeated, leaving the cabin, shutting the door behind him and beginning up the stairs.
No questions needed to be asked once he reached the top of the ship and saw the large galleon with large black flags. Upon them was an unfamiliar insignia of a skull within what looked like petals. With a slight weary gesture, the man looked about his crew, "Remain prepared with weapons ready in case of combat! More importantly, however, prepare the ship to sail! Once all of our crew has returned to Aurarius, we will be setting sail!" Turning towards Tracey, the man spoke more quietly, "Return to the isla with Victoria Hargreaves and gather the other pirates. If you see any others that seem in search of a ship that you deem worthy, bring them along as well. We could use a larger crew for what I have planned for us..." Spotting Tia remaining close to Tracey, he quickly added, "If you wish, you may bring Tia as well. Split up if needed, but gather all of the pirates."

Tracey was relived that the captain didn't seem to deem him incompetent. Responding to the order, he said respectfully, "Yes, sir!" Heading over quickly to the side of the ship that he had climbed up in the first place, he waited for Victoria. Really, he and Tia left quickly and he had no idea who was accepted and who wasn’t, Victoria would be very helpful.
He honestly didn’t want Tia to come along, sure he would rather she not be in danger should the other ship attack. On the other hand, her hand was hurt, climbing ropes would be near impossible not to mention dangerous and undoubtedly very painful. Of course, in the end it was it was her choice.

"Captain sir, I feel I would be more useful here. I would only get in the way on shore. I dont know who was accepted nor do I know the island very well. Let me stay aboard and work on making the ship ready to sail. I've cleaned the deck and most of the above deck cannons a few more minutes and they be ready in case we need them to fire." Tia had seemingly forgotten about her still bleeding wound. She stared at the captain letting him know she was truly serious about what she was saying, she much rather have stayed with Tracey, but she would be useless on shore. "Just tell me where you want me the most Captain."

Moving onto the deck after Aiden, Victoria listened to what the Captain was saying, letting out a single "Aye, Cap'n," before she moved over to Tracey and gave him a nod. "If ye go to the tavern, I'm sure ye'll find pirates destined fer the Auarius there. I'll look 'round the rest o' th' island."
With that, she moved to the end of the ship, hopped on the rail, and left, moving to find the remaining pirates on the island.

Tracey listened to Victoria, agreeing with her plan. At least he would have a better chance finding pirates there since thats where the captain sent them.
He couldn't leave yet, Tia had decided to stay behind but she was still hurt. Moving quickly, since the other task was an order from the captain but this one was from his heart. He grabbed the other rag he had brought for Tia and walked over to her. With his back to the Captain he smiled to Tia and handed her the rag, "This is clean." In a lower voice he added, "When I come back, I'll help you redress it." He had known Captains that would see one crewmate helping another like this as a weakness.
Not knowing how this Captain worked, or how Tia felt about it, he held back for now. At least, he could cover it for her, hand wounds were difficult. With a swift and careful knot tying he secured the clean rag to act as a bandage.
Now, he had to leave. Looking to her one more time, then bowing his head to the captain, he was gone of the side of the ship with the ropes, making his way down quickly so that he didn't make the captain wait.

Tia cracked a quick smile to Tracey she was so happy with how caring he was about her. "Thanks Tracey." Tia quickly remembered where she was and what going on. Her serious face returned and she turned her eyes back to the captain to await his orders. This was her chance to prove to the captain she was no ordinary deck hand. She was experienced and very ready to move quickly under what could be bad circumstances. Getting a ship ready under these conditions she had faced once before. They were diffinatly not ready to fight so they would have to get out silently and quickly. She felt she knew what needed to be done, but she wanted to prove she trusted his dessions and if he so choose he wanted her to go ashore after all she was ready to go.

Aiden looked about in the direction of the other ship. As of yet, it did not appear as though they had been preparing for an attack. In fact, it seemed as though a few of the pirates would be leaving the ship to explore the island. Perhaps they had only stopped in order to recruit a few pirates for their own ship? With a faint hint of worry, the man hurried towards where Tracey had left and then spoke again loudly, "There is a dragon-kin lass at the bar... I was supposed to go and speak with her, but I am hoping you may do so in my name. Tell her she is personally invited to join my ship and can be quickly promoted if she chooses to show both respect and honor. She will be paid as usual..." The man paused and lifted a hand to his jaw as though he was thinking. Through the chaos involving the lower decks, the man nearly forgot about Alexis. He wondered now if the woman was even interested in his ship.
Aiden turned when Tia spoke and nodded carefully. Though she had chosen to refuse his order, she did so in a much more respectful way than the others had only hours ago. With a smile, he understood her words and then pointed in the directions of the cannons, "I appreciate what you have done and if you could remain here and finish with the cleaning and preparations then that would be fine. Keep busy and-" It was then that the dragon-kin noticed Tia's bleeding hand. With worry, the man carefully gathered it into his hands and then looked to Tia, "When did this happen? Do you need wrapping or something for it..? I don't know very much about medics, but I stumbled across some herb paste on a paste island that may aid in the healing... or something to that affect.."

Penelope sat on the deck, thinking. She knew that what she'd said had came across in a bad way. What she really meant by all thse words was to show that she was a dedicated pirate! I guess I'll have to prove that instead.. Penny sighed, wiped the tears from her face, and stood. As she turned away from the bow, she noticed the Captain above decks. Suddenly, her heart began to beat against her chest. Had he come to skewer her?! No, -with that Penelope sighed in relief- he had come to see the other ship docking not too far off. She whirled around, her long white-blonde hair billowing behind her back. The ship was very large and intimidating; yet it had some sort of aura about it that made the girl smile. She knew right away that the crew and its Captain and the ship itself were pirates. Perhaps they were looking for a crew? With thoughts filling her mind, Penelope turned away from the large ship, arms folded neatly across her breasts. Her sky blue optics glittered in the sun as she pondered what to do. She saw that the Captain was with another woman, holding her hand. Was he a lady's man, eh? No, wait. The woman's hand is bleeding! The Greek girl acted on impulse, and ran over to the woman.
"What happened?" She asked, not expecting an answer. She quickly bent down and ripped a shred of cream-colored fabric off of her dress, and wrapped the woman's hand delicately. Once she was done, she tied the two ends of the shred into a neat bow. Suddenly realizing that she was standing in the presence of the Captain yet again, she began to grow fearful. Slowly, Penelope began to back away. "I-I'm sorry Sir... I just wanted to help. I meant no harm, really. It's just, I do know a lot about dressing wounds." The girl turned to the other woman, and bowed her head in respect. "I am sorry if you did not wish for me to touch you. If it is your wish, I will leave. But," She stated, her confidence growing momentarily. "You will have to soak that in clean water, which I could buy from the tavern. The water will possibly disinfect the cut and stop the bleeding for a while. After you soak it, I will tend to the wrapping. I can also pick up some wrapping somewhere in town. Sir;" She looked to McCallahan. "if you'll allow me." It seemed quite evident to her that the Captain had already began to dislike her. But what could it hurt to try and make the best of herself? She did have some medical experience. When she lived in the palace, she often had to stay with the nurses and doctors during her pregnancy. Since she was very sick during the pregnancy, it was best for her to stay with the health unit to prevent a miscarrige or something along those lines.
When she stayed with them, she often watched their ways of tending to wounds. Slowly but surely, Penelope began to pick up on their techniques and tried to tend to some wounds herself. When she lived by herself on the island for all those years, she suffered many a wound. Luckily, she knew how to tend for herself. Though she had help from others, she usually was able to dress the minor wounds by herself.
