Estrelas laughed along too. "Yes, but we only got it when the local drunkard let them all out in the middle of the night..." Estrelas smiled. "It wasn't the farm that was trouble, I mean, wheat grows pretty high and isn't appetizing when sprouting. But the hay and the vegetable gardens..." She laughed again. "We were without lettuce and carrots for months!"
She frowned. "...What do you mean?" she asked. "Were you possessed before?" She slowed the treadmill to make the sign of the cross with her fingers.

Archer laughed along at her story, and continued to chuckle at her superstitious action.
"No." He stated, "A year a half ago, is where i believe I got dumped when my time shattered." He shrugged and started to speed the tredmill up just a little. "The people who found me just said I kinda apeared outa nowhere. So I guess that's just where I ended up with time being so screwy. But, because of that, i really don't have any memories of what happened before, not that i mind. Though it does get a little, strange when you can't remember even your parents."

Estrelas bit her lip and pushed the "Speed up" button. Running made her mind wonderfully clear. She secretly wished that she couldn't remember her own parents or her home village. But she also wished that maybe Archer had been dumped in her time instead. Surely a man from a different time and world would be more interesting than a load of large Fine French Rabbits.
"That must be strange," she commented. "Do you miss them?" Estrelas personally wouldn't, but that was only her.
